Amazing place if youre a furry.

I attend this house party every month with friends. The hosts are always pleasant company with excellent standards for maintaining a safe and entertaining event for everyone. Alcohol and drugs are forbidden, and smoking is only allowed outdoors. There are still plenty of good refreshments donated by various attendants. We share the latest movie releases, play video games, make art, and simply enjoy the company of one another. To the hosts of the Prancing Skiltaire, thank you for making every month a pleasant one. The only sorrow is when its over, having to wait until next month. But heres to mutual peace and joy every time, onwards and upwards.

Im not a furry myself, but a couple of my friends are. They invited me to hang with them for an evening, and I found the place very laid back and fun. Just full of people wanting to be themselves, meet others, partake in a friendly atmosphere for a bit, dance, eat some pizza, and mingle. While Im not much into the lifestyle, Im definitely all about the friendliness of the people. If you have a friend who is looking to find some more furries to hang out with, recommend this place to them. And then go with them, because youll still enjoy it too.

I love this meet. Its really laid back and its always a good time when I go. The hosts are really nice, and they really do put a lot of effort into this place. Id recommend coming at around 5 pm, though.

My debit card information was stolen by this establishment and when I called, I was lied to about it. This is a creepy disgusting establishment!!

This is a Wonderful place for Furries to gather and be themselves. Since IN N Out told us to get off their property, the party population experienced a two year decline or so I am told. When I first came there in 2015,I was fascinated by all the plush toys, movies, artists, and selection of food. They even had a guy who used to cater pizza to us. Hopefully, as we get smaller groups of people to the IN N Out and back, we can once again get the people from San Diego to come out and restore this sacred place of 19 80s, 19 90s, and all around furry culture. Even though numbers have declined and things have changed, I am still grateful to have a home where I can be myself and enjoy the company of others.I should also note the very same people who run this establishment are also responsible for the invention and many aspects of Califur. So if you enjoyed Califur at one point in your life or another, think of it as a Califur without the panels and hotel fees for one day a month.Lastly one of the truly unique experiences often overlooked is this place also has a traveling writer, poet, and calligrapher known as The Forsaken Scribe. He wasnt a classic member like some of the others who knew the place longer, but he proves that furry art takes many forms. In his case the written word is his art. In an age when it seems like fewer and fewer people appreciate books, it is a symbol of hope to see someone so dedicated to the craft.If you are a furry, curious to learn more about furries, or just want a place to be accepted as you are, I can think of no better place than here.
