Dr. Graves is a caring and knowledgeable doctor that I trust with my vision. Ive seen him for years and highly recommend him. The staff makes you feel comfortable and take time to answer any questions.

From the moment I walked in the door, the entire staff was very welcoming and helpful. Dr. Neal was great. I actually felt very comfortable talking to him and felt like he actually listened to my concerns and then addressed them accordingly. I highly recommend them.

Would not see anyone else except Dr. Graves. He and his office understand what customer service is, do not have to wait that long, everyone is friendly and customer-oriented, they are organized so that you go from one step to the next. Have been seeing them for many years now and wouldnt go anywhere else.

My Daughter was super excited for a new eye exam. She was wanting contacts instead of glasses and Sumner Eye Care-Michelle Hunter was so patient with her to really take time with her to teach her and be patient with her. I waited in the waiting room until I was notified that she was ready and she accomplished her mission. She is now able to wear both glasses and contact lens and Im super proud of her. Thanks Sumner Eye Care for such as smooth process. Anxiety was high when we came in but came out of the appointment with such calmness. Thanks again for all that you do.

Why does it take 2 weeks to get my wife’s glasses? Do you have any idea of the headaches she’s getting. We won’t be back this is bs. You try and stay local and now I’m dealing with a wife that’s miserable and is missing days from work. Get it together!

Initial visit both my daughter and I were getting exams. Shes 10 and I go where she goes, lady examining her acted like I shouldnt be in the room with her. Actually asked if I planned on staying in a flippant sort of way. I said if I dont she doesnt. Get the whole shebang out of the way and we pick our frames. They say it will be 2 weeks. Little longer than I was expecting but ok. They said they would call me when the glasses arrived. I call 2 weeks later and my daughters got there two days before. Mine arent there yet. I ask why they didnt call me about my daughters and they didnt have an answer. So I ask about mine, lady says they lost them in shipping. Im angry now. Ive waited 2 weeks and had to call them to get information. She says it will be ANOTHER 2 weeks to remake them. I say I just want my money back. She says she cant do that. She offers me a discount and I say fine. So I go to pick up my daughters glasses and to accept my partial refund. She says shes not giving me a partial refund until the glasses arrive. Thats not what we discussed. They were lost in shipping and I was told I would be compensated. While Im sitting there, upset but calm, a coworker walks up into the lab and the lady who has been helping us turns and speaks to her and is motioning towards me. She looks at me watching and tells the other lady to shut the door. Idk if they could have made it more obvious they were talking about me but when its that obvious its just rude. 2 days later my glasses arrive. She says they werent lost in shipping they just hadnt been checked in yet. Now whether they were already there before when I picked up my daughters glasses or not I never got an answer on. Seems like they probably were and just werent checked in. So I told her, politely, maybe next time dont say they are lost until you know they are. You wouldnt have to deal with the irritated customer then and youd get a better review if you called your customers to tell them their orders had arrived. I asked what the insurance on our glasses covered and she said only mine had it. I said I paid for both so they both better have it. She looked and said they did. Just felt rude and unprofessional, several times I felt they didnt want me with my 10 year old and I felt their customer service was way off. Its sad when I can honestly say Ive had better customer service at Walmart. I dont think we will go here again.

I worked up front for a total of 3 weeks. I was told there would be training. I was excited to gain new experience and knowledge. I was very disappointed. There was less than an hour of training. The behavior of the others working there towards two new, untrained employees was juvenile and extremely rude. I could not believe the hostile feeling of working there. The new employees are constantly blamed for everything off with the schedule. You feel like you are still in high school with unnecessary comments, staff in your face raising their voices in front of patients and tearing new untrained staff down! Its sad work environments can be this selfish. It has the potential to run very well, but not without changes of behavior, active training and boosting morale in the workplace. HIPAA violation was not dealt with. I refuse to work somewhere where professional morals, values, ethics and behavior are so low.

Scheduled an appt and arrived early, checked in and waited an hour in the waiting room. I asked the front desk twice, what is the hold up? Ive watched customers come in and leave and Im still sitting here waiting. We have two doctors so it depends on who youre seeing. They tell me. OK. That I understand, what I cant understand is why make an appt so youre customers have to wait an hour for service. I work 3rd shift and Im super tired falling asleep in the lobby waiting and waiting and waiting. The front desk attitude is snappy, poor customer service with zero communication. I love Dr. Graves but his front of house representation needs help.

I needed a new pair of glasses. I went to Sumner Eye Care. I like the doctor and the exam process. I looked at all their frame options and didnt find anything I liked. I had a pair of frames in great condition and asked to have lenses placed in them. The woman immediately tried selling me a pair of their frames. She said mine could brake. I used mine anyway. It took 2 weeks before I got a call and was told my frames had a stripped screw. I went and when I put my old lenses in, they fit fine and the screw worked fine. She then forced her lense into my frame and handed them to me. I ended up at Pearl Vision while in Denver and they ground down my lens to fit and repaired my glasses for free in 5 minutes! I will never return here. Little to choose from and poor service!

Went in on a Thursday afternoon for my appointment to get eyes checked and a prescription for glasses. Everyone was great from reception, to doctors, to the people helping me pick out frames. They told me when I was done that my glasses would be ready on Monday, but I got a call Friday saying they had them already to go for me for the weekend.Id definitely recommend Sumner Eye Care

I work at a computer all day and needed glasses so I went here for the exam. I ended up getting progressive lenses which I purchased from this office. They were not what I needed to better see the computer but I realized they were great for driving and seeing long distance. So, I requested my single vision prescription so that I could purchase prescription sunglasses on line since my eyes are very sensitive to the sun. They would not give me my pupillary distance which is required for buying glasses because they do not want me to go on line and purchase sunglasses for much less. Even though by law, I have a right to this information as it is in my medical record and I spent over $500 dollars on my current glasses from their office (plus the charge for the exam). They told me if I wanted that information I could come back and pay $35 and they would re-measure it for me. I will never go back into that office not only because they would not give me my medical record, which is my legal right, but they were also very rude to me about it. I will pay some one else to get my pupillary distance measured. This is not right... I would give them negative stars if I could.

This is the worst customer experience I have ever had. Ive been wearing glasses for 22 years and I have never had such a problem. Pro tip. If someone tells you they cant see out of the new glasses. Dont go into the next room and say I dont know what her problem is to your coworker.. you cant see what I see.. i wouldnt complain if they were working fine for me.

This was my first visit to Sumner Eye Care in Gallatin; I was sooo pleasantly surprised! The sharp, smart, young Dr. Graves is very knowledgeable and actually took the time to explain why I had the vision problems that I have now (thats a first!). The Receptionists, Assistants, and everyone I met in the office were so kind and helpful! The well qualified Optician helped me find the best lenses to fit my needs, and she actually took the time to go on-line and help me find some frames that suited my taste, all within my budget, savings me hundreds of dollars! When I came into the office that day my stress level was extremely high, but when I left all my anxiety had subsided, thanks to all your caring staff!

Today was my first time as a client. Very unfriendly staff who seems not to understand blindness. Im blind in one eye with 20/400 in the other.I received a sample ofcontacts that do not even help my good eye. How can a an eye doctor have such trouble with this? The only good news to report is how professional the lady was who fit me for glasses. The bad news is Im wondering if my prescription is as bad as the contacts after paying them $500.Update: getting a refund of my full purchase. Thanks Sandy for helping me out on this.
