I hate to admit it but it has been awhile since Ive entered a dentists office. Between anxiety and nerves when it comes to dentist as well as covid shutting everything down, I just avoided it. I made an appointment and when I went in, I was treated with nothing but kindness and felt like they really cared! Definitely happy here and would recommend to anyone!

Waited weeks to get in for appt only to have nurse tell me he hurt his hand and would be unable to pull tooth that day. I specifically asked when making the appt if I would be able to get tooth pulled that day and they said yes. I show up and they pretty much dismissed me and wanted me to wait another 8 weeks. This is totally unprofessional in my opinion as I work in healthcare. I should have been called and told of the situation beforehand. I took a day off work just to do this so it was a complete waste of my time AND I lost money doing it.

Had a fantastic experience for my son! A different public-funded dentist told us my son needed a cavity filled. I wanted to wait and get a second opinion. Dr. Welty confirmed my suspicion that he DIDN’T need a filling. In fact, couldn’t even find decay. We made a second appointment to keep an eye on it, and again-- no decay and no filling needed. You will be well taken care of and cared for at Sweetbriar! So thankful to have an attentive, kind, personable dentist and staff in Galesburg.

I have always had a 5 star experience at Sweetbriar Family Dentistry! My first visit was with Dr. Clint. This was the first time I had ever had a tooth removed and an implant tooth procedure. I was concerned about what was about to happen. Dr. Clint immediately made me feel at ease as he explained and educated me as to what was going to take place. My experience was completely wonderful! I was always asked if I was in pain or if I was doing alright. Ive never had a better experience!I have also seen Dr. Adam Welty for other procedures. What agwonderful, kind Doctor and person he truly is to his patients.The hygienist are fabulous for teeth cleaning and assisting. As always, my hygienist Beth, is spectacular. My biggest issue is that Sweetbriar Family Denistry raised their oral evaluation 26% and Prophylaxis procedure 25% from my last visit in November 2019. When I asked the receptionist about the increase, she stated that as of Jan 1, 2020, they raised prices 5%. I don’t understand the gap and lack of helpful info from the receptionist.

I went to Sweetbriar Dentistry to get my teeth cleaned and check up. Brooke did an excellent job. She was very friendly and nice. I didnt even realize that I was at the dentist. Due to Covid19 they went above and beyond.

Today I received a gentle tooth cleaning and fluoride treatment from Ashley, a recent addition to the Sweetbriar staff. It was fun getting acquainted. She has some special magnifying glasses with a very small light so there was no big bright light above my head. Ashley was empathetic, kind and efficient as are the other staff. I recommend them highly for their excellent dental care.

They were very professional, explained everything in detail to me. Today had to have a tooth pulled, it was out before I knew they started. Instead of making very expensive decisions, they want to do a complete exam then discuss my options. I really appreciate that, I dont feel pressured. Would highly recommend them for any dental treatment.

First impression was a hit with my family! They were VERY thorough and informative as well as extremely patient with my daughter. The atmosphere is very modern and has a cool vibe that makes you feel comfortable. Everyone was really welcoming and accomodating to my busy schedule.I especially appreciated the detailed print out of what I pay versus what my insurance will pay! It makes it easier to budget and schedule my appointments when it is feasible for my family.
