Well organized and reasonably priced. They are really mindful of covid regulations with only 22 people at a time, direction on walking in lanes and masks are required. Dress only 8.99 and shoes 12.99

Decent (but not great) thrift store with a variety of clothes, household items, etc. A good option if you reside nearby (Frederick goodwill has a lot more good stuff).

I find this to be one of the better thrift stores in the area. Organized and neat, with a good selection. Drive through donation drop off is a well oiled machine and very convenient.

I visit the store 2x a week during my lunchbreak for the past 3 months since I got a job in the area.But it was a stressful visit today June 3rd. Lydia, the cashier was so RUDE!! SHE IS NOT SUITED TO BE INFRONT OF CUSTOMERS at all. ALIANA, the manager for the day sorted her mess.There are lots of people who needs a job. Please, you need to remove her from that post! To the area manager Michael, you need to do something!

Good drop off setup, friendly staff in my experiences, and decent size inside.You’ll often see in reviews that goodwill stores need more organization and while that is true compared to traditional retail stores I found the organization here to be good.

If you go in the morning, everything are better organized and stocked than at end of day. They take drive through donations from opening time to 1 pm. I like their pricing system (each category of clothing are priced the same. Jeans and pants $6, short coats $8, long coats $12, infant clothes $1, etc.) I think I got good bargains there. It’s far much better priced than overpriced rip-off ThredUp, if you could find something you need and want. I am hoping to see more inventory for toddler’s toys and clothes as they were pretty low during my last visit.

Good to have stores like Goodwill. They help people who need stores like it. I am not a shopper here these days, but there were days when I was. So keep supporting them, we need Goodwill stores.

This location was good back around 2012-2013. I used to shop & donate here a lot then. Since then, the management changed and it is not the same! The manager was never rude to me personally, but I seen hostile treatment towards other shoppers.Before the change, the racks remained full of clothing and shelves filled with items, and you had lots to choose from at great prices. So, their pricing has also changed. Over-priced items are common here now. Like this Ann Taylor Loft top with tags on it, which should be no more than $5....its out dated. But it has a tag of $9.99. I noticed many of the Goodwills are doing this- pricing items more than it would cost brand new in a non-thrift store.I believe Goodwill is losing focus. Folks shop here to help support their services offered to those in need. If you over price most things, folks will not or can not buy things to support a cause. Also, its kinda pricey for ppl who can not afford many items due to income issues.Dont get me started on the long line at checkout. Its crazy slow! Its utterly ridiculous! It was not like that back then.I will not go back to this particular location.

When arriving I was greeted and felt welcomed. I also noticed that a count was kept of how many people were inside the store and that all were wearing mask. I really enjoyed my visit and got a great bargain.

The prices are so high, and they barely have any good clothing, they also have barely ANY workers there and it takes forever in the line. their safety precautions are very good though.

I wouldnt return. I went in for 6 simple items: 4 fitted twin sheets, and 2 fitted king sheets. There was no organization except a row of sheets and linens, with a pricing key at the end of the row. These were not arranged by size, or even used a color code on the tags to cheat at what size they were. Multiple types of linens are the same pricing in the key, with no way to pick through and differentiate unless you have a tape measure.

This store is fine. I think its organized well, but its rather small so you wont find a huge selection of things, but its still worth a look because you never know what youll find. However, like other reviewers have pointed out, things are often priced way too high. Ive seen the employees be outwardly rude to other customers and they seem generally unhappy to be working there. Its an unpleasant experience, so this location is my last choice to go to.

I like that you can drive through and drop off items in the various designated areas ie clothes, blankets, shoes, electronics, pots/pans and receive a donation slip at the end no contact.

Website says this location is open til 9. I drove 20 min to get here and was turned away. Apparently they only take donations til 7pm. Nothing about that anywhere on online profiles. So easy to fix that, Goodwill!

The cashier and showroom employees were somewhat slow-moving and not particularly helpful. The guys who helped me get my dresser into the truck were great though. Good selection of items for sale at this location.

Went there for some cheap clothes. Prices are great, but the clothes arent organized incredibly well. Yes they have tags that mark S,M,L, and XL, but that label on suit jackets and pants can span a large range of sizes, so I wouldnt assume anything fits without trying it on first.However, even with the lack of organization, the staff there is excellent, and offered to help me multiple times in one visit. And with the money Im saving, its not enough to take off points for a thrift store.

I just donated a high end baby high chair and some motorcycle helmets over there. Unfortunately, Im not happy with my experience at this location at all. D.A. (a young African American male) did not greet me. Nor did he help me unload my stuff. When I tried to ask for a receipt. He reluctantly grabbed one piece and then went on to talk to his friend and kept me waiting there. I felt so humiliated. Id rather send my items to the Salvation Army or the Land fill than this poorly managed place in the future.To the owner: you need to provide better training for this pathetic employee!

Pretty limited selection of everything except clothing, but good clothing selection. Theyre pretty slow at ringing you up, but also quite friendly. Worth a stop if youre looking for clothing!

I love this goodwill. It can get pretty disorganized close to the end of the day but thats understandable. I get most of my childrens clothing here and I think the pricing is very fair. The donation drop off located in the back is really easy and the employees are always very nice.

It is a good store but lacks organization one example is the toy department. Help is always there but the cashier department needs to be more helpful and awake.

I have never shopped here but I did come to donate furniture and had an unpleasant experience. Not only was it disorganized but one of the employees (who clearly did not want to be there) refused to take some items because they were broken (though they definitely not). When I protested and offered to help move the furniture inside the employee kicked the leg of a dresser to crack it and put their knee to a bookshelf to dent it and said see broken.

Did not want to take my donations of old computer equipment, cables. etc for recycling even though their policy clearly states they take those items. When I asked if I could please have the plastic tubs back that the recycled items were in, I was told another thing Im not supposed to do. They dump the items into large boxes anyway so I dont get the attitude. I ended up unloading and dumping the items myself, and had to ask him for help with the other things I had in my trunk. Glad to donate, but could do without the attitude and scowling.

As someone who enjoys frequenting thrift stores, Ive learned what to expect from certain chains. Goodwill is known for its charitable hiring and low prices. I was not impressed by the employees. They were rude and paid no attention to the customers. The prices were high, much higher than Goodwill usually has. 40 dollars for a coat? No thanks.

There are a few items that looks nice but often they are sticky and just gross feeling. In fact the entire store is a bit dirty. The prices are also high for a thriftstore. Overall, a bad experince.

Hit or miss. You might find something good, but most of the time you find some garbage navigation system that doesnt work. Sometimes youll find an Xbox or PS2, Ive even saw Wiis, for lower than 25 dollars. You can also find DS and GameBoy systems for cheap. If you purchase something, theres a chance it could be dead, broken, but sometimes they work great. Sometimes theres nothing good, but worth your time if your in the area and interested in old technology.

I like this the store in that it is right to the point and you can find allot of things here BUT do not expect fast check out lanes. its a hit or miss on what you find but I have never had a bad experience.

The staff is really wonderful and helpful Tuesdays 50% off senior discounts students and military discounts the store is neat and clean some days are busier than others regular 50% off discounts if you belong to the club youll be notified

Good stuff they had,cloths,coats, jackets , sweaters , toys, furniture , electronics , watches quite a lot a stuff , I got a pretty good deal on a vintage looking cycle , would recommend it if you need something soecific, toys and stuff us clean I take a tour every now and then , if you need any sort of cables like HDMI this is the place to go, also saw a kit of coffee makers

They treat some of their employees badly. One I know had an arrangement with them to work around d school and then reneged on their promise. Their manager just is a biscuit.

Worst thrift store ever! The employees there are rude and they will mark down items for their friends. Many items are over priced too. I have been too MANY, MANY thrift stores and this is one of the worse ones on my list!

The 5 stars is for the drop off process. It is extremely easy and fast donate items.

I love the cashiers, the linen lady, and the Hispanic gentleman. They are very respectful except the floor supervisor( lashaun) who thinks everybody who walks in is a suspect. Most people, including her colleagues cant stand her attitude. She is very rude. One lady complained while shopping that she approached and asked if she is putting stuff in a bag. I advised her to complained to the manager on duty. Her customer service skill is very bad. The store needs a lot of mystery shopping during opening and closing time. Some items are ridiculously overpriced( expensive than ROSS store) and are still on the shelves since 6 mths ago.The only reason why I will continue going to that store in Gaithersburg is clothing for myself and the kids.

This place used to be great and offered a lot of things that was donated but has stopped expecting certian donations so not much good items on the sales floor. Plus prices have gone up 40% or more.

The sales staff really need some work. They are slow and inefficient. They need to address customers with unruly, loud and unsupervised children. Its very hard to shop with children riding toys, yelling running screaming, tearing open items Its horrible. They also dont address customers who turn up the volume at deafening volumes to check the speakers. Store is poorly managed

Clothes and movies are decently priced, but everything else is way over priced. Wireless keyboards without their dongles are useless and should not be close to $10.

It is set back from route 355and may not be very noticable. They take a lot of different items. Please call if you are not sure if they will take an item.

Couldnt get any assistance and staff made it obvious that they didnt want to assist but not sure if these are actually paid workers or volunteers. I always thought they were volunteers but looking at the other reviews, I guess not. I did however contact the Purple Hearts for a donation pick up. We are now moving overseas and had a heap of stuff for a garage sale which we ran out of time for. Booked Purple Hearts on-line, they came out to Ijamsville and picked EVERYTHING up (except for some heavy furniture). The driver did all the work and was MOST appreciative, then left us donation receipts for tax purposes. Cant recommend them enough.

Buy stuff on the low. I prefer going to more affluent cities or areas with a higher density of elderly population bc when they croak, the kids come and ransack all the valuables and donate vintage old people stuff to the local Goodwill. Score one for US.

Prices are too high for most items. And the clerk was eating pizza as she was checking people out. We had to lift up the items and show her the prices so she could ring the items up...while she spoke to us with her mouth crammed full of food. Gross. Not the first time I have experienced rude and inappropriate behavior there. I realized it is a thrift store, but seriously, a little manners go a long way...

Prices are way too high. They get these clothes donated and then they mark up the price to almost over what the item would have normally retailed for before it was used! Lines are also way too long.

Price range is double than most of other goodwill stores I have been into, do not expect to find anything of a value, most of their items are junk.

This Goodwill has implemented a color of the week system to their store in the last few months. I discovered that their prices went up again due to that, I guess that is how to draw people in. I personally find that this store has been picked over the last few times Ive visited.

Great place to donate stuff and get tax deductions, I go here all the time to buy oil paintings cheap and give away crap I dont want anymore.

Overpriced. I dont understand Goodwills pricing policy, often Ive found used items (housewares) with original price stickers that are the SAME as Goodwills price tag. These items are clearly used & dirty. Please get your act together Goodwill when pricing items.
