I went to see Lucy at the recommendation of my mother, who has long had muscle problems in her back. I’m glad I listened to her, because going here has changed my life. It’s a somewhat painful experience in the moment, but you can FEEL the tension being massaged out of your muscles as she works. After getting a massage here, I am rejuvenated and able to face the day far more easily. It feels like I’m carrying 10 pound weights on every limb and around my neck until after I visit for my massage.If you truly want a massage that will improve your day to day life, I cannot recommend Lucy and this clinic more. Lucy gave me the best massage I’ve ever gotten. I went to her massage studio having severe back pain(sciatica-related), she literally squeezed me like a lemon and half an hour later my back was good as new 🤷‍♂️ She also thought me back-stretch exercises that can help with the pain. Throughout my adult life, Ive had to get massage therapy for back pain stemming from old football injuries. Lucy at Massage Summer is the best Ive ever had. She is a healer and is a real professional. Her MD license is displayed openly and she is the real deal. She always starts each session by a warm friendly greeting and by asking me where do I ache. She is caring with a funny personality, her hands are very intuitive and she always find my sore spots on her own but is very good responding to feedback. The room is clean and cozy, the bed is always warm ahead of time, lights down and calm music playing. She is the only therapist that can get all of my knots out. I refuse to go anywhere else. Give her a try, your body will thank you.

Lucy seems to be the sole owner and therapist at Massage Summer. Her office is on the second floor in a quiet office building. The only room in the office is the massage room so she clearly only takes appointments by phone or text. Plan ahead.The room is very clean and professional. The table was heated and the sheets were soft and clean. She asked if I had any medical issues and then left me to get ready for the massage.I was a little nervous at the start of the massage. It almost seemed like the massage would be Swedish style. I like a more deep tissue style. She switched styles after about five minutes and she started targeted acupressure. Im sure she would amend her style if needed but it was exactly what I was looking for. She throws her elbow into a knot and works it out. She also incorporates stretching which can be a shock when youre as inflexible as I am.When she finished she left the room. After I changed, she came back in and she discussed problem areas (for me... I need to start back stretches).I have found a few therapists in over 20 years that are like her. Once you find them you never go back to someone else (unless they retire or someone relocates).She was pleasant, kind, professional, and respectful. She didnt pressure me to schedule a next appointment like many other therapists out there.If you like a good massage, Lucy is perfect. No pressure. Willing to make a times lot available if needed. Really wonderful.
