Dr. Gendel is great, he gets you taken care of very quickly and does all he can for you! They have new staff who I can say are way better then the older ladies who were there, even though they like to close early because they want to get home they have took very good care of me since I have a bad habit of being extremely late to my appointments! Lol but what can I say they still help me out, so thank you guys.

Ive been a long time patient of Dr. Gendel s office. I started coming here because of its close proximity to work i have since left that job but still happily drive 40 minutes to come to this practice because I love it so much. I can always count on the ladies at the front desk to greet me with a smile no matter what. Dr. Gendel and Nurse C have always been very knowledgeable and understanding they take the time to listen to any concerns I might have. This is a small family practice and everyone there makes you feel like family. I will always recommend Dr. Gendel to anyone who ask.

Dr. Gendel & his staff are amazing. Always friendly, willing to help and accommodating, no matter what the circumstances. The doctors are great at following up with patients and front desks communication skills are beyond standard practice! I would highly recommend this office ! They go above and beyond.

My experience at Dr Gendels has been positive. Dr Gendel is straight forward and always professional and the same can be said for his staff. Dr Gendel raised the bar the moment he brought in PA Charipova. She is a great physician wonderful bedside manner, very caring, compassionate, smart and thorough. Charipova is a physician because she actually loves to help people and after the first visit with her you can automatically tell shes doing exactly what the universe called her to do. Like any Doctors office the visit always starts and ends with the people they employ at the front and the 3 ladies at the front have always represented that office very well.The 3 ladies at the front are caring, uplifting, positive, charming, intelligent and professional. they always have a smile on their face and they work well together. All 3 have demonstrated the ability to adapt on the fly and not afraid to get their hands dirty. They are crossed trained and are able to do ekgs blood work ect and thats what sets them apart from many other doctors offices.

I’ve been coming to Dr.Gendel for over 5 years now. He diagnosed my tumor, got me set up with the right referrals and made the whole experience as painless as possible. Now, I see Dr. Gulmara at the practice, and she is AWESOME! She has the best bedside manner, and asks how I’m doing and how I’m feeling. I’m very open with her, and she’s by far my favorite doctor I’ve EVER encountered. The front staff have always worked with me and my crazy schedule, fitting me in. Diana is by far the best and most thorough receptionist, and Maggie is an AWESOME technician. If you want a caring doctor and awesome staff, this is your place to go!!!!

1. His office charged me $80 deposit for an annual checkup, which is unheard of at my previous doctors.2. His office doesnt accept credit card, but never mentioned that when I was making the appointment. That forced me to use an ATM and ended up paying almost $8 in ATM fees.3. His office never told me to fast for the blood work, forcing me to make a second trip to a lab.4. The doctor made me wait for 47 minutes before seeing me.5. They charged me $21 for a physical, and $20 to give me the physical result over the phone, both of which were free with my previous doctors.6. After a dozen calls with them, they still cannot/would not tell me when I can get my refund.

Poor service, the front desk hung up the phone when I talk to her, no computers for information system, just use paper and file... prescription always lose when the pharmacy request refill....just run away!

The waiting room was PACKED, no social distancing, people coughing and one of the front desk ladies was not wearing a mask!!! NO COVID PRECAUTIONS AT ALL. What practice does this in a pandemic?? Oh and they also tried to charge me 40$ a person for a flu shot...

I’ve been coming to Dr. Gendel’s Family Practice for several years now as my PCP. They’re a very busy office but they’re obliging to every patient and the staff are always polite and courteous. Dr. Gulnara Charipova especially is very attentive and will always put the patients well-being ahead of everything else. She’s easily one of the hardest working practitioners I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. The front office staff are really friendly as well - they’re always quick to pass referrals and to remind me to reschedule. I noticed they go out of their way to accommodate changes and that’s not always the case with most places that are this busy. Five stars hands down.

I used to go to a different place because it was the only I knew of. Once a month for 160$. It seemed nice until I never received my blood work or any personal interaction. I couldnt be happier that I switched to gendal family practice. Im always treated nice and some times do have a wait but its worth it to know my blood work is talked about and important genuine questions are asked and answered. I normally see the nurse practitioner who is by far my favorite nurse Ive ever had. Intelligent direct and caring. Couldnt ask for a better place

I’ve been coming to this office over 8 years and have never had any issues and any kinda issues I may have had always been solved and addressed accordingly they are quick friendly and knowledgeable to all my medical needs not to mention personable and friendly and have always made sure even when I have forgot to make an appointment they make sure to get me in regardless the time even if the office is closing in 5 minutes they do there best to make sure I’m seen and taken care of I would most definitely recommend not only Dr.Gendel but the whole office and medical staff has always been helpful and supportive thank you for all your help

I drive over a hour to come to this office! Staff is AMAZING!! I have always been treated professionally and have never had any issues!! I actually was coming to the area to another Dr for a different health issue and the CNP told me I didn’t need to go to another Dr for that! It doesn’t cost me anymore out of pocket to have ALL my medical issues handled at this office! I’m now saving money on office visits, gas, and time driving!!! I love seeing the CNP she and I definitely clicked and feel like I can tell her ANYTHING and if I have a issue she will go above and beyond to try to find the answer!

By far, the worst clinic Ive experienced. I would give no star if it was an option. Majority of staff are very rude. Accepts only cash or check and fails to mention it when making an appointment as a new patient. Place is filthy and questionable whether the place is properly sanitized. Be aware!

This place never honor your appointment time even though you need to schedule an appointment to visit. They accept more number of patients than they can handle. If you go there expect hours of waiting timeAccept that staff is friendly and helpful. Especially Diana.

First visit today and bad first impression. Lady doctor (I think Russian) looked rushed throughout the whole visit, tried getting referrals for specialists and she said “no. Not now, next visit, I can’t be here all day.” So heartless did not feel like she was compassionate at all. Maybe in Russia they don’t teach bedside manners.

I had an appointment as a new patient. I arrived and the room is full no where else to sit. I was seen more than 1 hour late from my appointment time. They accept walk-ins and do not follow appoint time. I have never seen a primary doctor office this disorganized. How can you come back?

I have been a patient of this practice for just over a month. I had been treated for opioid addiction for nearly 15 years by a doctor in Virginia who decided to no longer accept insurance. I found Dr. Gendels practice through an internet search. Brenda helped me schedule my initial consult. She and the office are very accommodating to your schedule. If you schedule early morning appointments, you may find the waiting room very busy. However, the wait is not out of the ordinary for doctor visits. Brenda and Diana are very kind and pleasant, and they will assist you in the completion of all the necessary paperwork. No matter how busy they may be, both Brenda and Diana treat you with the utmost respect and kindness.During my initial visit, I was triaged by Maggie who is an excellent RN. She is no nonsense, and gets down to business immediately. I find Maggie to also be very kind and helpful each time I have been treated. I was seen by the PA Gulnara, who has to be the most efficient but thorough medical practitioner I have come across in years. During that initial consult, I decided to have the Practice serve to treat me for all medical issues, not just as my Subsolv doctor. I have had a full physical. When the test results came back, Gulnara went over each and every result with me, answering all questions without making me feel hurried in any way. If you are looking to have chit chat this Practice may not be for you. They get down to business. They are quick, but very thorough, something lacking from my prior doctor. I am just sad that I didnt find Dr. Gendel sooner. By the way, I have seen Dr. Gendel once and he was very kind, thorough and efficient. If you are in need of a Suboxone or general practitioner, this is the practice I would recommend.I have now been seen three times this past month. Diana has called me a few times to follow up after a visit for suspected strep. I am extremely pleased with the entire staff. For those that have complained that the staff seems hurried, I disagree. What I have found is a staff who must deal with a waiting room full of patients and wanting to get the diagnosis and treatment right the first time.

I very rarely go to the doctor and I have dr.Gendel as my PCP for awhile. Sometime I even skip my annual checkup, but when I dont, I called the office to make an appointment for physical and was literally tortured by questions like do you need a prescription? . And I wasnt sure, what if I did need one after evaluation? It made me doubtful, if I did need my annual physical. They didnt not want to make a physical appointment until I assured them I didnt need a PX. When I finally got to my appointment, it turned out they didnt except anything but cash and I had to go downstairs to use the ATM. Which charged me $3 for $20 transaction. I have a new and wonderful PCP now, not Dr Gendel.

I have found that Dr. Gendel is a fair man. he is quick but thorough. But he is not going to give you medicines that will harm you. Bottom line is you must want to help yourself and he will work with you . No problems here .

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY- THIS GUY DOESNT CARE!!!!!!Not a good suboxone Dr. Find a Dr that will listen to you-This guy is a quack, I know more about this medication, and how it works- this guy dont know much about this treatment.

He gets you in and out which is perfect for busy people who gotta get back to their jobs. I was about to lose it trying to find a suboxone dr. Everyone had a month waiting list but dr. Gendel was availible immediately. I hate having to see him so frequently but i think its the law if being prescribed suboxone therapy. He does not spend a significant amount of time with you, its nit needed however. He just writes the script, you need to find outside counselling and therapy yourself. Its a tradeoff for the quick and immediate service he provides, and does a good job at that.

Dr. Gendel is one the most insensitive doctors I have ever met. His bedside manner is among the worst. I had to switch doctors because my original doctor was too far away and did not take my insurance anymore. In my initial visit with Dr. Gendel, I told him that I had been treated with hypertension for many years and have been on Clonidine 0.2 mg ever since. He said that was too high of a dose and wrote me a lesser dose unknown to my knowledge at the time. Years before there were a few times when I ran out of my medication and I went into immediate rebound hypertension-I actually had to be hospitalized a few times and even collapsed. I came back to the office two weeks later for my refill and Dr. Gendel said it was too soon and that I should have more pills left. I was confused because he had told me to come back in 2 weeks for another appointment. I explained to him again my previous diagnosis, the dose I have been on for so many years, and the result that happens when I am not on that particular dose. This is no exaggeration-the doctor proceeded to tell me that he could no longer treat me because I was a complicated individual. I asked him what on earth did that mean? That he was going to refuse service because of a pre existing condition I had? That was what my whole visit was about. I wasnt coming along to have a leisurely chat-thats for sure. Isnt that what doctors are for-to treat the sick? I had explained my situation to the receptionist when I first made the appointment. So he then got more enraged and told me that I was incorrect about my experiences in the past (collapsing and being hospitalized). He basically called me a liar. I didnt know how to react to such a stone cold attitude like his. For a moment, he made me feel crazy and that I was severely sick with delusion. Thats just not right on any type of level-especially a professional one. I felt really ostracized for having a condition that is not my fault. I was diagnosed with it when I was 22 years old. Anyone can Google the condition-in fact its not very complicated at all. I have included a definition at the bottom of this post. Especially for someone who is a doctor and has been to med school. He then told me if the alleged symptoms started-that I should just go to the hospital. I was so confused. Why should I take up hospital space when this new doctor can do exactly what the hospital will do? Another thing is he said I cant prescribe you more because its not safe but then again, to stop taking that dose....is safe. Also, the 0.2 mg is not a high dose. When I first was diagnosed I was prescribed the following dose initially-I was on 0.3 mg three times a day. Now that was an extremely potent dose. My point is: this doctor is not only lacking common sense but also the common decency that patients deserve when they are in need and are paying you for their services. Do not go to him if you need any type of complicated help-such as diabetes, a cold or....the most complicated of all- hypertension.Hypertension (HTN or HT), also known as high blood pressure or arterial hypertension, is a chronic medical condition in which the blood pressure in the arteries is elevated. Blood pressure is expressed by two measurements, the systolic and diastolicpressures, which are the maximum and minimum pressures, respectively, in the arterial system. Hypertension usually does not cause symptoms initially, but sustained hypertension over time is a major risk factor for hypertensive heart disease, coronary artery disease,stroke, aortic aneurysm,peripheral artery disease, and chronic kidney disease.
