I am a patient of Dr. Smith, and he is top notch and kind, listens, and cares. I would give a 5 star rating for him, but must agree with other reviews regarding the staff. I have difficulty getting through to the office to schedule appointments as they have an answering machine on often times after 9 am even though they are open 9 to 5. They are lax about answering the phone on time which is unprofessional.If you can get past the shortcomings of the staff, Dr. Smith is worth the hassle, but too bad his office personnel detract from the overall experience of receiving care from the Doctor.

Phones are alway off .. unprofessional.. unorganized.. refuse to make appointment until payment is taken .. left various messages to dr about my meds not one staff personnel has gotten back to mr .. do not recommend coming here at all.. office manager is completely rude.. does not know how to speak to people n always finds a excuse for mr to pay money out of pocket WHEN my insurance covers absolutely evertging.. disgusting do not recommend at all

Horrible office staff. Would not recommend this physicians office to family or friends. The billing staff waited to tell me that there was an account balance on my account until 3 days before they said they were going to send it to collections. No written notices and no phone call. That was until a voicemail 3 days prior to when they said collections would get involved.

Dr. Smith is an outstandingly kind and compassionate doctor, I would recommend him to anyone looking for a non-condescending, caring behavioral health provider.

Just upon looking online to check for the address; I saw these two other reviews. Shocking to see anything but 4, or 5 stars. Someone said that the office seems disorganised, and obviously he had a bad experience. I have been seeing Dr. Smith for over 6 months now, and literally, I could not be happier. Ive seen many psychiatrists/therapists in the past, and was simply used to the countless problems, confusion, and mistakes by all people involved. I go monthly, and STILL am pleasantly surprised by multiple aspects every time. Everyone working on the office side, booking appointments, answering phones(to answer questions,change appointments) etc, are all very polite, and have always helped me however they can until it is resolved. I am prescribed several controlled substance meds. One in particular carries a certain stigma with it. All other places Ive gone have several receptionists who clearly treat patients differently. Not only being rude and not helpful, but disrespecting us as well. This is especially a big problem when one may need to call to request an Rx; whether a refill, or appointment not coinciding with an Rx due or whatever, ALL other offices have acted in such a way, or done things to make myself(and many other patients) dread having to contact them(when were supposed to. Told by the dr) always questioning if our requests are legitimate, until they see they are. Then they begrudgingly and rudly do their job. Much of the time %50+, something is incorrect; or they do not actually call/fax/email the pharmacy. Anyone whos dealt with this particular med certainly knows about this, as crazy as it sounds. So, tje point of all of that was to say that I have not had any of those problems here. I still deal with the issues from the othwrs but dr smith is helping woth that
