Dr. Leeb provided a thorough examination and consultation with options that were available to me. She answered all my questions and I did not feel rushed or pressured to make a decision whether to retain my current 4 year old Starkey hearing aids a little longer or purchase new ones. Dr.Leeb was very professional in all regards to my initial evaluation and I believe tries to help her patients reach the best alternative with so many choices out there for their hearing clarity and comfort.

Ive had bad a experience with Live Better Hearing. First, the prices are very high, and you really need to shop around for the best price. But even more important than that is the poor customer service. The staff of the local offices arent always responsive. And, you cant get a phone number for the their headquarters or administrative office to talk to someone in management. When I finally got thru to some on the management team she told me, she would research my issue and get back to me but she never did. My issue is still unresolved... sad.

Most folks, in writing about Live Better Hearing at Montgomery Village, Gaithersburg, probably describe the quality of the Starkey hearing aids dispensed by LBH. I want to talk about the outstanding customer service provided by Sheila who manages the LBH office at Montgomery Village. The Starkey hearing aids have a three-month return policy. My wife and I purchased the hearing aids for my mother-in-law who, after using them for a brief period, peacefully passed to that wonderful land where hearing aids are no longer necessary. So, when I reached out to Sheila, we discovered our hearing aids were one-day over the three month return period. Sheila, of her own volition, said she would call Starkey-corporate. Happily she was able to negotiate a two-day extension to the return period. Thank you Sheila for enriching our lives, both through the spontaneous effort you made on our behalf...and the dollar refund we received from Starkey. Shane M

We have been a part of this center for about 3 years now and at first we were very unhappy with them, they seemed to not be honest with us and only seemed to care about making money. Dr. Liacouras did not listen to my husbands needs or wants after repeatedly going back.After some time we changed location and went to the Frederick office. We were treated with respect and kindness. They really took the time to listen to my husband and his needs. They followed up with us and we really felt they cared. The staff were very helpful and courteous. If they didnt know something they contacted the provider that I was working with to get the information that I needed.The doc was relentless when it came to getting my hearing aids adjusted. We went back and forth with the computer and the aids many times.

Great and friendly service. Dr. Liacouras is a real professional.Hearing aids are extremely expensive and generally are not covered by insurance. So you might be tempted to get less expensive hearing aids from a retail store. Ive had hearing aids for about 5 years now and I have learned this: You need an expert audiologist who can adjust your hearing aids initially and over time, if necessary. You wont get this from hearing aids from Costco, Sams Club or online. Yes, hearing aids cost too much, but your hearing is so important, you cant afford to go with the less expensive ones. After-your-purchase service is essential.

I had my first hearing test which showed I needed hearing aids. The very competent and pleasant Audiologist (Dr. Andrea Liacouras) made it an excellent experience, explaining the tests, making recommendations, fitting me with aids that work best for me, and explaining everything about how to use them. It was a pleasure to work with this group and I highly recommend them for people who are having hearing problems.

I have been going to A&A Hearing since Dr. Cushing bought the practice. Shortly after he acquired A&A Hearing, Dr. Andrea Liacouras came on board. She has excellent credentials. Andrea is an Audiologist.Although I admire her credentials, my reason for admiring Andrea, is her kindness toward me (and probably all her patients). She is never too busy to explain the technology of the new Hearing Aid world. When she makes a change, she explains to me why it is necessary.She is extremely professional. If you find yourself withdrawing from social situations because you cannot hear what folks are saying, get your hearing checked. I did. I put it off because I felt that a hearing aid would make me look old. Well, just sitting there made me look worse! Within one hour my life changed. Dr. Andrea tested my hearing, fitted me with these tiny hearing aids and I now have my life back. Ive been a patient of Dr Liacouras and Live Better Hearing since they took over the location in Montgomery Village. I have the highest respect for Dr. Liacouras audiological knowledge and professional abilities in providing me with outstanding hearing diagnostic and hearing aid services and would highly recommend her to anyone in need of audiological services.

I found Dr. Liacouras very friendly and accommodating. Dr. Liacouras would see me often concerning the Lyrics I had. Often times the same day I would call for an appointment.

On a scale of 1 to 5 I think A&A Hearing in general and Dr. Liacouras in specific deserve a rank of 10 – maybe higher. I am a music lover and digital hearing aids are known to not reproduce music well. So it was with some trepidation that I got a new set of Unitron hearing aids. My initial listening experience was not good. I feared the worse. Dr. Liacouras assured me that there were a number of adjustments and tweaks that could be made. She brought in a Unitron rep and they worked together for several hours. As I listened to music they made adjustments and I told them whether it was getting better or worse. In the end they managed to find the setting that satisfied the music lover in me.I am extremely happy with the results. I believe that Dr. Liacouras and the Unitron rep went above and beyond what many other places would have done.
