Overall I have been very satisfied with the quality of care that we have had with Visiting Angels. They keep my mom safe and well adjusted. I believe that the care the caregivers provide has improved my mothers quality of life. The caregivers communicate and share information regarding my Mom on a daily basis. They are truly invested in my mothers well being. Most of the caregivers are extremely reliable. They are very caring and are respectful when interacting with my Mom. The office (my contact person) is very accommodating, compassionate and professional. I would highly recommend VA to anyone that is looking for a caregiver for their loved one!

So you can imagine, but my scheduler BrittanyG is the best. She is always finding a way for me to balance my job and school at the same time.

This was our first experience needing round the clock care for our mom. We only needed someone to stay with her 24/7 for a short period and called Visiting Angels. From the first phone call, to making arrangements, and meeting the care person assigned to us we could not have had a better experience. They were caring, and went beyond anything we expected to take care of our mom. Sadly our mom passed away a few weeks after. We highly recommend Visiting Angels should anyone needed some extra care, short or long term.

Rosa, Visiting Angels caregiver was wonderful to my father.She spent almost 2 years with my Dad.Before we moved Dad to a memory care facility, she cooked for Dad and helped clean his house. She entertained Dad in conversation at a time he lived alone, due to fact we had recently lost our mother.

Dont be fooled by the reviews on this page, they are not accurate at all.This agency is not what you would expect it to be. Our family has been with visiting angels for almost three years now and I am very disappointed. Time after time I continue to get the WORST caregivers to take care of my 95 year old grandmother. I have probably had to ask for a new caretaker over 20 times already. Many of them lie straight to our faces when we ask them if they had walked my grandmother or if she had finished her meal. Even worse, a lot of them had eaten the food and protein shakes themselves. Im not sure if theyre hungry, rude, or just hiding the fact that they cant do their job.This is absolutely unacceptable and I have complained to Visiting Angels multiple times and nothing has been done. This job is very simple and only really requires you to be PRESENT this is too hard for many of these caretakers since they like to sit there on their phone and have earphones in while my grandmother talks to them. Not only is this unprofessional but extremely rude.I live at home now and I am shocked at what I see. It is hard for me to believe that these caretakers receive any training at all because even I could do 1,000 times better. It is a privilege for these women to come to our house and take care of my grandmother and they do NOT take it seriously or professionally at all. I definitely do not recommend and maybe you will have better luck somewhere else.

The Visiting Angels caring for my Mom were phenomenal. We had Angels 12 hours a day and sometimes overnite. My Mom easily bonded with Musu (Elizabeth), Flora, and Claudette and appreciated their caring, gentle approach. We could always count on Rose-Anna to be there when expected and felt comfortable leaving my mother in her care. Our mother was also comfortable with Rose-Anna. Our rating is based on our experience with Rose-Anna as our mothers caregiver.

The stuff know the value of caregivers they treat with respect and they know how much you need to work. My stuff coordinator Bri.. shes very helpful to me always finding cases for me so I wont stay home without working. As for all CNAs out there you know how important that is. I was searching for a program that could help my mom as she is getting older. I spoke to Jill Greenliegh and she was very informative how her company could service my mom. She was very detail oriented as far as letting me understand how they could help my mom with bathing and reminding her about her medicine as well as helping her with meals if needed. She was very patient and answered all my questions and I highly recommend Visiting Angels.

This is the second time I have had to rely on the visiting angels to help care for my mom. They are compassionate, friendly and very professional.

We are very happy with Visiting Angels taking care of my aunt. My aunt lives by herself 50 mi from us, about one and a half hour drive each way. My wife and I still visit my aunt every 7 to 10 days, and call every other day. Visiting Angels has been fantastic.We do not worry about her care because they call us up if theres any question. For example if the bottled water is getting low, they will call or text me. They also take care of the calendar in her house with doctors appointments and dentist appointments. We are very happy with their coordination with us. In particular,the two visiting Angels that are with my aunt are very personable and honest. They take great effort, during the coronavirus times, to isolate themselves both when theyre with my aunt and also when they are at their own apartments. They drive my aunt to doctors appointments, and I meet my aunt at the doctors office.Initially, visiting Angels provided care just three days afternoons per week. Now they are there 24/7. One lady comes in and stays 3 days a week, and the other 4 days a week . The gradual change from 3:00 afternoons to 24/7 went very smoothly.Visiting Angels has allowed my aunt to live where she wants to, in her own home near the Chesapeake Bay. This would be impossible without their help. They have been fantastic help.

Visiting Angels is the best agency Ive used and I can tell the owner, Paul, values his customers. I have used them for over 10 yrs for my mother and now my 97 yr old aunt. This year has brought more difficulties. My coordinator Ashley has been very professional and great service. They will work with you to find a good match for your situation. Sometimes this can be challenging, for example I require a spanish speaker caregiver and I am very protective of my 97 yr old aunt especially during these covid times. However, if you have a family member that you want to make sure has a companion, they will bend over backward to make sure the schedule is filled and they are not left alone.

I was helping a Family look for a Licensed CNA that could assist her at her home. After some online research I contacted Visiting Office and spoke to Paul who explained the Services that his company provides and their rates and I shared that information with my Family member. We should be concluding our search soon and all indications are that we will go with Pauls company.

The care givers were professional and very competent

My family had been providing care for my 88 year old mother for over a year as her health deteriorated due to multiple myeloma. She was very frail and weak and it reached a point where we knew we had to have help for us and for her. We contacted Visiting Angels and were relieved at how quickly they were able to accommodate us. Britany, our coordinator, did a great job matching us with a wonderful caregiver, Beatrice. She initially began a day shift for two days a week but within a couple of weeks we knew we needed a live-in caregiver. Beatrice agreed to be that person. She is very kind and considerate and took great care of our mother, who commented more than once on what a wonderful person she was. In the last few weeks of her life our mothers health declined at a rate that was noticeable every day. We had just decided that it would be best to put her in a nursing home, but she passed away in her sleep, in her own bed, just where she wanted to be. We are grateful to Beatrice, Britany, and everyone else at Visiting Angels for being able to adapt to our rapidly changing needs, which allowed our mother to stay in her own home until the very end.

Until this fall, I have only been associated with Visiting Angels to gather information regarding their in-home services for a family member, and knowing from several friends, the excellent care given to their parents.As suggested by Stephanie, I attended a series of weekly “Coffee Chats” through Zoom calls coordinated by Mary Ellen Willson. With others in the community, Dr. Zykia LaRue, gave pertinent information regarding improving balance, body strengthening and proper nutrition, and its contribution to physical and mental well-being. Videos were forwarded after class to ensure I captured all the details!I also attended additional Webinar instruction for caretakers of those with dementia/Alzheimers, and creating Advanced Medical Directives on-line for free.Reaching out to one’s community to educate and guide, support and enlighten, in of course a very professional manner, but even more so, in an extremely warm and caring way, was quite a challenge! Visiting Angels and its staff has reached the epitome of caring for, enlightening and guiding a community. Your mission was even more critical during a time of pandemic and nearly complete isolation.
