I came to see Mr. Lim about a month ago with very bad sciatica. After two sessions per week, the sciatica is 85 percent gone. Aside from the acupuncture techniques, he gave me exercises to decrease my pain. In addition, he told me to change my diet to fit my body type which would make me healthier overall.

Dr Lim has been treating me for a month for cholesterol and weight problems. He is very patient and thorough and identified other issues pertaining to wellness. He advises me on a proper diet to align with my body type and I feel an improvement in my general wellness. My energy levels have improved and I do not stress eat anymore and am better able to control my diet. Dr Lim is within my insurance network and I feel that alternate treatment is very beneficial to me.

I must admit that I was very skeptical at first but after my first few visits i started noticing that my sleep patterns, neck pain, and overall health is better. I’ve had terrible seasonal allergies since I was a child. I had never thought of acupuncture as a possible solution until I was given the advise to get allergies shots and my husband suggested I try acupuncture. One of the only times I’ll actually admit was husband was right! Lol I am so glad I made the decision to give this process a chance and that I found Dr.Lim’s practice. He really takes the time to find out whats causing your underlying issues and explain it in a way that makes perfect sense. Through this journey I’ve learned to trust the process. Everyone’s body is unique which makes everyone’s treatment length different. While my allergies aren’t 100% cured yet, my symptoms have significantly improved. If you’re on the fence whether to try it out or not, think no further it’s definitely worth it!

Dr Lim has helped me deal with 2021 seasonal allergies. I had a bad day with doing a lot of sneezing Dr Lim treated me for this and I didn’t sneeze for a week after my acupuncture treatment to deal with this issue.

I had a bad shoulder, elbow and wrist pain issues due to a previous injury, after 2 years of PT and getting no results I decided to give Accupunture a try. My only regret is why I didn’t do it any sooner. I felt a huge difference in the very 1st treatment. I regain mobility in my hand and do things I couldn’t do for so long. No Pain! I do not know all the science behind acupuncture, but it is working without meds. I’ve had shoulder pain in both shoulders form a long time and finally decided to try to do something about it. Started Accupuncture at Lims a few weeks ago and the pain is slowly starting to go away thanks to him. I know it’s going to take a while since I do manual labor everyday but I can tell that it’s slowly getting better. Would recommend to anyone that needs pain relief

I have been going to Dr. Lim for about a month now. My digestive system was waking me up before 4:30am to empty and it was affecting my quality of sleep. Not only has my sleep improved, but also I have experienced another ancillary benefit. My first monthly period cycle was much lighter and I had little to no cramps. Like many of the other reviewers have noted, Dr. Lim explains very well how acupuncture works and why he is focusing on particular points on the body. He suggests dietary changes and exercises to do at home.Other things that I like about his practice is that I never find myself waiting. I come in and walk right back to the session room. This may seem insignificant to some, but if you have a busy life, this is important.Lastly, his office is ALWAYS clean and uncluttered. This allows me to relax, enjoy the soft music playing in the background, and focus on my body and healing.I look forward to the changes the next month will bring.

NO WAY!!!!!!!!!!!! I still couldn’t believe this myself. I’ve supper neck, shoulders and lower back pains for over 8 months. I always had to wear back belt while I’m working. I had a massage for time to time but it felt good during the massage and the pains never goes away.Just one treatment of acupuncture and no more pains. Dr Lim is very knowledgeable and kind. I felt so bad myself suffering my pains for over 8 months. For those who have any pains please don’t wait around and Dont take pills. Acupuncture treatment is very helpful, painless and effective. Ive had chronic foot pain and weight problems for many years. About 15 months ago, my podiatrist suggested I try acupuncture since everything else we had tried (physical therapy, surgery, etc.) hadnt worked. In a simple search, I landed on Lims Acupuncture and made an appointment.Over the past year, my feet are like new again. Im not crying from the pain after a long day at work on my feet any more. I can take long walks - I even went to China and walked over ten miles a day touring. Theres no way that I could have done that prior to getting acupuncture.Because I can be mobile again, in addition to his treatments, Ive also started losing weight. Its not fast weight loss, but it is always downward (I havent gained weight in months - something that hasnt happened in years for me).My podiatrist is amazed - and hes sent a number of his other patients to this practice as well, all of whom report back saying that its helped.Dr. Lim is very knowledgeable and friendly. I have struggled with chronic back pain that morphed into fibromyalgia, which meant excruciating pain shooting all over my body. Than I was diagnosed with fibroids that the doctors told me I had to have remove to get rid of the pain and super heavy periods. I scheduled the surgery, but before I had it, I tried Dr.Lim on a whim since I was there waiting for my friend. He took me immediately that day, and I haven’t felt this good in years. My periods are normal and I sometimes go days without pain. It has been a little over two months, and I cancelled the fibroid surgery!! Dr.Lim takes a ton of time with you if you need it, and he cares about you as a person. Best acupuncture experience I have ever had. I travel from Frederick 40 mins away, passing by several other acupuncturists because I haven’t been able to find someone as good as Dr. Lim. He is amazing!! If I could add more stars I would.

I have just started treatment with Dr. Lim and I have to say he is amazing!. I recently lost my boyfriend of 5 years. Dr. Lim is very careful and thoughtful acupuncturist. His unique merit is that he tries to cure the problem fundamentally, not temporarily, although it would take more time, energy, care, and patience. I was diagnosed with migraine as a teen more than 35 years ago and have been prescribed daily preventatives and rescue meds for my episodes. Over the past several years, the occurrences increased to 3-4 episodes each month, lasting for 1-3 days despite the preventative and rescue meds. Since seeing Dr. Lim in January 2018, the episodes have decreased significantly in both frequency and intensity. Im also sleeping better and feeling more energized.
