My pet peave is we have not received the order. Well I got that today off the bat and they said they would email the doctor office and call me when they receive the order. What they didnt know is I already called the doctor office and it was faxed 2 months ago and the order was 22 pages long. I called BS on this company right away. What they are gonna find out is I asked the doctor office to find another company to get my mothers equipment from. So Unprofessional. I do not recommend this place at all. If I could choose zero star and post I would but it would not. πŸ˜”

Very unprofessional. They do not have time to help you with your issue if it seems to complicated for them. Apperantly they have to many patients. Save your time go with someone else.

The women that answer the phone and the customer service is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!!I spoke to two different women and neither of them were overly helpful, but one was out right rude and passive/aggressive helpful. I WOULD NEVER recommend this company to anyone in need of equipment, especially in a rush. I am in need of a replacement piece of equipment and between my doctor and this company, neither one could get it right. I’m glad it wasn’t a defibrillator. I’m switching both.

This company has been very, very accommodating. I can not say how happy we are with them! When my husband started needing oxygen full time and we were running low, Jackie jumped in her own car and delivered more oxygen to our doctors office - how cool is that!

I went for my first appointment yesterday morning. These folks are professionals and I was thrilled to be waited on by Linda who was very caring and explained everything to me clearly and concisely. My new machine works perfectly and my new mask fits like a glove. Thank you very much for giving me such a great experience!

BUYER BEWARE!! The people at the center are nice but the supply side of the business is very unethical. They will constantly harass you by telephone to get you to purchase new supplies and when you finally do place an order they cannot EVER get the invoicing correct and charge you for more than you received When I finally gave up and quit using my machine ( I was getting numerous sinus infections from its usage months ago and that is after I bought a cleaning system that cost over 300.00 ... surprisingly I no longer have those issues and no longer snore since I had my surgery anyway). THEY are still sending me invoices for supplies I never got, nor ordered (the costs was over $400.00!!). And by the way - you can get the supplies for less expense through Amazon.

Customer service is non-existent once you are established in their system. Auto-ship for any supplies is WAY more supply than you can use, as per typical of our money grubbing medical system is the U.S. Better have a warehouse to keep all those supplies. Impossible to reach anyone on their fully automated phone system, no response by email. Never in my life done business with a company so poorly managed. Overbilling and account is ALL screwed up. Had to call my insurance company to try to sort things out. This company is in WAY over their heads...they cant handle your business. Try somewhere else. Always avoid auto-ship.

Over the past several years, they have provided subpar service, unprofessional customer care, and unreliable products. It has been nothing but a hassle dealing with this company and we tried switching to the only other provider in the area...and they were actually worse. Someone would have a booming business if they ever opened up a competitor!

Quick and professional would pretty well sum up the staff here. After the hair-pulling futility of convincing a few other suppliers in town that I was, in fact, capable of operating a fax machine without adult supervision, American HomePatients corporate office called me within 40 minutes of receiving my documentation to inform me that they had just sent an authorization request to Blue Cross. Within 2 days I had an appointment.The appointment itself went quite well. The respiratory therapist did a great job explaining everything and finding a mask that worked. For those that care , they do carry the most modern CPAP machines and masks, so thats a big plus.If youre looking for a quick, painless, and professional experience, give them a call.

My script for a nebulizer was sent to them. I called one week later and I was told they were waiting on the insurance company. Same thing another week later. Third week came and I called my insurance to check. They just received AND cleared the script the day before my third call. Call center cant tell me approximately when I will get my new nebulizer and wont give me the local number. The person was also very vague with all of her answers and not helpful at all. Every answer was Its still being processed. So disappointing.

I was told by the friendly and professional woman, Kathy, who fitted my mask to call any time with questions. To do this one must jump through several hoops. The only number to call is a service center that is not local. I waited for over 15 minutes to speak to a representative. At my request I was transferred to the Gainesville office. After a 5 minute wait I was able to speak with Lauren at the front desk who was rude. Rude to the degree that you wonder how she holds a position where she has to interact with public.After a long and frustrating hassle I was able to talk with the respiratory therapist, Sandy, who was as helpful and friendly as Lauren was rude and unhelpful (Hence the 2 stars). Sandy answered all my questions and told me how to get in touch with her directly.I wish I had listened to my physician who recommended North Florida Medical Equipment. But my husband goes here and has never needed to contact them with questions.If you Google American HomePatient the reviews are terrible so it seems the problems are not only with the Gainesville office.

Awful customer service. Forgot they are health care providers in the service of patients. Someone said earlier in a review, Mean. I would agree. That’s the impression I’ve received. They have forgotten their companys mission statement. Instead, it is β€œDo as little as possible.”

I am so looking forward to working with you all at american home patient for as long as I need cpap and supplies and moreI am so happy I chose you all for my provider of my cpap and supplies if I ever need respiratory items you all carry I will Most definitely be contacting for those too!!

RUN AWAY FAST!! GO TO A DIFFRENT PROVIDER. Dealing with AHP has been the worst experience I have ever had with any business. For starters. The office feels like the waiting room at an oil change shop. Its cluttered and dirty. Gross! Not to mention The staff was very unprofessional, and down right mean. They charged me for a service I didnt receive and I spent literally 6 hours trying to deal with it. It is nearly impossible to contact anyone locally. And when you do after up to 40 mins of hold time they hang up on you. Like the Gainesville employee Silvia did to me three times. (I documented every call I made to them, it was quite a few) the manager Tim was no better. Terrible experience every step of the way. When I finally got through to someone about my issue they sent me a money order from publix to make up for what the billing agency owes the insurance. Super sketchy. Pretty sure they are pulling some insurance fraud over there. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS, YOU WILL BE SORRY! My next call is to the better business bureau.

My husband has been working on getting a machine for over two months. Between the doctor, the insurance company, Carecentrix, and American Home Patient it has been like a bad dream. The American Home Patient Office cant even e-mail me a PHI form so I can speak on my husband behalf. Bad way to run a business.
