My mother has been in Dr. Saurels care for 4 years now, and I can genuinely say she has made her feel like family. As an oncologist, she is often responsible for delivering disappointing news and daunting treatment plans. She consistently conveys everything in the most kind and gentle manor and somehow is still direct in the most comforting way. Her staff has made my mom feel so loved over the years and we are both so grateful for their care.

Not sure about the actual doctors in this office because I have yet to see her, but the lady who answers the phone should NOT be the first person people talk to when they have a question about their appointment- she is rude and could care less that someone was just diagnosed with cancer and has to see an oncologist, which in an of itself is a very anxiety filled experience.

Dr. Saurel was my mother’s oncologist for 18 months. That’s 18 months with Pancreatic Cancer, which is a looooong time! I believe a lot of my mom’s success was due to the care we received from her and her team. Dr. Saurel not only held my mom’s hand the entire time, but she held mine too. I was at almost every appointment, and she was willing to answer my questions and quiet my fear and anxiety. She was professional yet caring and understanding of what I, the daughter, was dealing with in knowing we were going to lose my mom, my best friend. She was wonderful with my mom too, who had to face the fact she was dying. We were blessed to have her during the most difficult time of our lives! I would highly recommend Dr. Saurel to anyone facing the cancer battle. Her nurses were incredible too. I’m so thankful to have had them as our caretakers.

I have had my third treatment with her. I see her before each infusion and he has them mix my infusion.She always has been as prompt as most doctors are and very attentive to my questions answering each in a way I understand. Doug Cruce

Dr. Saurel routinely makes my husband wait over 2 hours each time he has an appointment to see her. Hes discussed changing his medication with her every appointment for the last year, and she has agreed, but continues to fail to write the new script every time. It took her 3 months to notice his alarming weight loss and then wanted to wait another month before looking into it. This is negligence. When hes been admitted to the hospital, she has no interaction with my husband and little, if any, interaction with the attending provider. Ive put in a complaint with NGHS and Ive gotten an apology, but no change or promise for change.

She is very informative but does not listen well to address questions

I like her as my oncologist.

Very good doctor would highly recommend.
