This place is WONDERFUL!! They really take the time to HEAR you & NOT rush you out the door! Ive been going there since we moved up here 15+ yrs ago! Dr Brannon is SO nice! I seriously can not say enough nice things about ALL of them!!

Alliance Family Physicians is fantastic. The staff are all friendly and helpful. I visited with Rachel who listened and explained things very well. Shes very knowledgeable and kind; Id highly recommend her.

Dr Branin is an excellent PCP. He listens attentively and is genuinely concerned with adressing my health issues. His advise took a turn for the worse when he recommended Dr Peter Sarantos to perform my hernia surgery. Dr Sarantos botched the surgery- he cut blood vessels during the surgery and withheld this serious surgical error from me after the procedure. Dr Sarantos and his PA Cynthia Anders PA-C both lied to me after the surgery to cover up the surgical error. (I obtained the medical records to discover the truth.) Shortly after I arrived home the blood vessels ruptured and I suffered an internal hemorrhage. I fell to the floor in pain, crawled across the floor to call 911. The hemorrhage blocked the blood flow to my right leg and caused a DVT. I required emergency surgery and blood transfusions. What was supposed to be outpatient surgery turned into 9 days in the hospital, 4 days in the ICU, and 238K bill from NFRMC. The anesthesiologist said I was lucky to survive the massive blood loss. If I had researched Peter Sarantos on rate mds or health grades, I would have discovered that Sarantos had injured another patient performing hernia surgery. He had the mesh wrapped around the spermatic cord and when the patient complained of intense pain, Sarantos blew him off stating it was a pulled muscle. The lesson here is do your own research and dont blindly believe what doctors tell you/or recommend.

To me this is what a doctors office is supposed to be like, When you need to see your doctor now, you should be able to within 24hrs. Thus Practice will always make it possible for a patient to come in any emergency and at other times within 24hrs most times. I have been with them 10+ years and always happy .

Friendly, covid safety practices taken seriously, no other patients scheduled when each person is waiting to be seen, only thing I might criticize is that office closed at beginning of outbreak when video appointments could have worked for this doctors practice at least to answer the many questions people had, including doctors advice as to where to go if patient had symptoms that they had questions about as to where it if they should require care for any other problems that the emergency room could have taken care of. To me I realize the doctor was protecting staff and patients as well because so little information was consistent and the doctor that holds your primary care records and conditions that could have been answered by their knowledge of patient health and test history may have been useful rather than calling a general line making recommendation. Also, doctor would be more aware of past surgeries or allergies or particular health issues since they are seen once a year by doctor for medicare check up and recommended patients ability to care for themselves if necessary. Did wait for reopening until more information was given to medical health practitioners.

I was so excited to change to this group of medical people. Everyone person I met was polite, caring, and efficient. I was extremely pleased with the medical attention the PA gave me; listening to my concerns, discussing options, making plans, and giving advice.

My husband and I both appreciate the professionalism, knowledge and kindness of Rachel Cohen, PA, Sadie and staff. They go above and beyond what is required. We can’t say enough kind words about Alliance Family Physicians!

Had my first appt. as a new patient today. Everyone from the beginning to end was just very very nice. The building felt nice and homey compared to other practices Ive been in and very comfortable. I have been a patient of Alliance for about 10 years and have always received top notch care. I can get in the same day I call, and the wait is usually about 5 minutes. Terri is great - listens, takes time with me, and always suggests the recommended tests for my age to keep me healthy. She really puts thought into the best treatment plan to take. I would recommend Alliance to anyone who just needs their own doctor.

I have been a patient at Alliance for nearly a decade and it is the best practice I have ever been to. I never have a problem getting an appointment whenever I have a medical issue. (None of this sorry we cant see you until next month). I am so comfortable with the staff I trust them with all of my health care needs. They are through and monitor your progress without being overbearing. They dont make you comeback time and time again unless its necessary. This is also the only practice were the doctors actually call you back the same day. I appreciate the doctors honest and upfront approach. They have no problem calling me out when Im not doing what I am suppose to do to stay healthy. The physicians are so good I dont have a favorite. They all are.

I have been going to Alliance for years and have been seen by a variety of their providers. Im so happy they now have Kristin Kay with their practice. She really takes her time to listen to you and tries to get to the root of your health issues instead of putting a bandaid on the problem. She doesnt rush you and actually follows up the way a family physician should. I also like that Im able to see a woman my own age as a provider!

I moved to Gainesville recently and am thrilled to have found Kristin Kay! She genuinely cares about her patients and has far exceeded my expectations at every visit. Kristin is very thorough and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable around her instantly. She took the time to discuss available options without rushing. She has a very warm, approachable personality, and our time together was not rushed at all. The office staff was friendly, I was seen promptly, and I couldn’t be happier with my first impression of the practice.

This place is garbage. J.R. hit the nail on the head. Ive been a patient of Alliance for almost a decade. Dr. Urban was my original primary doctor at Alliance. He retired last year and I have since been passed from PA to PA..I only saw Dr Branin when the PA wasnt authorized to write a prescription. There was even one point that I was told to go to the hospital because they had done all they were willing to do. In other words, they were already paid by my insurers for this treatment. When I needed a referral, I had to call daily for weeks for them to push it through. I think dealing with my health problems on my own is easier than putting up with this office. Paying a homeless man on the side of the street for a diagnosis would be more enjoyable and probably more accurate. And, you would be doing a good deed. My advice, DO NOT GO.

Joe Stankus has excellent bedside manner and a thorough treatment and assessment plan. Very professional but friendly. Listens to your concerns. He is a rare provider these days in a field full of burn and turn doctors.Need a good practitioner this is your man!

I have been with Alliance Family Practice for years. But I just had to write a review when I met Terry McLean, ARNP today. I needed to be seen during a time that Dr. Branin was not available. She was wonderful! She explained everything in a way I could understand and made me feel comfortable despite my pain and anxiety. Definitely will schedule again when she is available. Great bedside manner.

Today was my first visit and I was not pleased at all. It would have been nice to feel a personal relationship with a doctor Im seeking medical attention for. I may be young but if I have issues that have been addressed by many doctors, therapists etc, dont make me feel like I dont know what Im talking about. I saw a PA today but clearly next time I need to see a doctor.. Being someone who has mental illness for 8+ years, dont make me feel like Im crazy. I feel that today was a waste of a visit.

I have had terrible experiences with this practice. They did not notify me that my physician was leaving, then refused to refill a prescription for me due to their poor documentation of my records. You will have to repeat the same information to them over and over again instead of them just looking at your file. Very unprofessional, rude receptionists, don’t waste your time.

Love Autumn and all the other team members at Alliance Family Physician. They listen and work with you to help you with what you need. I recommend them to anyone looking for a GP.

Been a patient here for over 10 years and regularly seen by Dr. Branin who is very personable. I see complaints about long wait times. I am usually seen within 15 minutes which I feel is acceptable.

Ive been with Branin since 2000. He listens, prescribes only the necessary meds and follows-up with treatment. Most importantly, I can usually get an appt the same day if Im sick. Great Dr, great staff. They care, listen, and fix. Its not and in and out in 30 seconds physician. Thats what I look for in a primary. Well done!!

I recently had a pretty invasive surgery but before that I was in good shape hadnt been to a doctor in some time. After the surgery i was in need of a primary care physician so I chose to see Alliance Family Physicians. Ive seen the arnp Joseph Stankus for the majority of my visits and think very highly of this guy. He has been able to answer directly most of all my many questions and has an excellent bedside manor. He helped me figure out my new lifestyle and seemed to care about me getting better. In other words I didnt feel like a number. I would recommend this practice to anyone in need of a doctor. Buyer beware! I visited this office one time, for a new patient wellness exam. I was surprised when I had to pay a copay, since wellness visits are at no charge due to healthcare reform. I was further surprised to receive a bill 3 weeks later for the full cost of the visit. The office billed my insurance for a sick visit due to allergies. When I called the office to have this corrected and a corrected claim submitted to my insurance, their billing person and office manager refused to do so as the PAs note indicated that I was there for allergies and a sinus infection (I must have sneezed during my visit). Furthermore, the office manager accused me of trying to get her to commit insurance fraud. Not only will I never visit this office again, I want to make sure everyone else is aware of their false billing practices. They are obviously strongly opposed to healthcare reform (and have notices in their office that show that) and are counteracting it with bad billing practices.

This office practically saved my life. Thank you Joe.
