Jean is a highly experienced and effective Licensed Clinical Counselor with Supervision designation (meaning she is licensed to give training supervision to other LPCs and counselor trainees) who specializes in the treatment of those suffering from the after effects of trauma. She is also a certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, which means that she practices a type of therapy that has been proven to be highly effective in the treatment of traumatized individuals. If you have found that traditional “talk therapy” just doesn’t seem to be doing enough to help you she comes highly recommended. Even if you don’t feel that you are struggling or suffering from trauma I would still recommend anyone give Somatic Experiencing and Jean a try- you’ll probably learn more about yourself and your subconscious beliefs than you even thought was possible. Again, I can’t recommend her any more highly, she is more than excellent at what she does and is just an overall joy to be around.
