I changed to this primary care office in order to have a provider closer to home and am extremely glad I did. They are very conscientious and it feels like they care about their patients. Dr. Woods especially is willing to spend the time it takes to get medical issues resolved. I also have never had to wait more than a few minutes.

Dr. Woods is the best doctor I have seen. She didn’t make me feel dismissed or rushed. She listened to a every concern I had and didn’t treat me as if I was lying. She went over everything with me a detail and explained why I was feeling the way I was feeling. I will always go back here!

This was second terrible experience with them. No more chance for this facility.1st experience we had blood test done for my 2,y.o son. LAB worker couldnt find vein on his hand, after 3 or 4 attempts I jus pointed where she have to put her needle to get blood. Thanks God my son is very patient.2nd experience. Today my little one jumped from the sofa and bumped his head. An hour later he started vomiting and he vomited 3 times. We took him to AFC urgent care but they are not accepting under 3y.o. Then we took him to Wakemed urgent care and family practices. At the front desk they called nurse and doctor. But they even didnt take a look on him. Instead they preferred just stay behind the front desk and giving me an advice to take him to an emergency room. I know how an emergency works and just wanted to save time. From the very first minute I suspected that he got a concussion. And any other reliable doctor who strive and have a passion about his job would take a look on baby, checked his pupil and reflexes. (Because this is a baby not unit, number, material, e.t.c) Who knows maybe it would be essential to bring him on EMS truck instead of wasting time in the traffic and have him sitting in the car seat. And instead of giving valuable advice they just decided to stay behind the front desk and telling me what ER is closest. There is nothing worse than doctors and nurses who cant decide and take just a little responsibility. Cause It was looks like if something happens it wasnt me. Hope if you need help you will find someone who help you, because this is their mission.

Dr Lin is an awesome doctor! The lady who draws blood for testing is very very good and does a fabulous job! Never had problems with anyone or anything here, they’ve gotten me back on track with my medications and mental health! Highly recommended!! Thank you wakemed primary care!!

All of the staff are wonderful. They are very easy to get a hold of to make an appointment and are very understanding when you have to make any kind of changes to said appointment. I have to get blood drawn regularly and I used to hate it, but thanks to Tina in the blood draw room, I now have no problems with that. She is amazing at her job and makes the whole experience less painful and tries to distract you as much as possible.

I give Dr Lin 5 Stars i am well pleased with his services. He listens and took very good care of me, but Im very displeased with staff on my call to schedule my appointment and visit for 11-18-20. To start when I called to schedule i gave my information and was told someone from appointments would call me back. Several hours later after no call back I decided to call back and was asked what did I need to be seen for I explained again and was told it was in my chart but the information was not passed along to anyone. Once I arrive 15 minutes before my appointment 1pm as told and checked in I waited till 1:30 in the meantime 2 other people who walked in after me checked in and both were called in less than 10 minutes. I had to go back to the check in to see what was going on and was basically told she didnt know what was going on. Now today 11-20-20 Im here at my appointment time to be seen as I was told but cant be seen because I have to wait 24 hours after the to test to be seen but the staff on the 18th did not inform me of that so here I wait till after 1:30 to be seen.

Staff is ALWAYS friendly. They get my appointments scheduled quickly. The medical staff reallyKnow their stuff and work with me to find a solution. If I have a concern that needs to be addressed right away, I’ve never had to wait for some appointment date weeks down the road. They get me in right away.

Very very pleased with my visit to WakeMed Primary Care. When I called I was really not feeling well and the woman I talked to on the phone (I hate I cannot remember her name) was so sweet and pleasant and made a phone call to the doctors office the best it could be. They were able to get me in the next day, NYE. When I arrived, everyone at the front desk was professional, kind, and helpful. Angel took me back to my room, took my vitals and was so nice and upbeat. I was able to see Ashley Greer, who was fantastic- thorough, very kind and understanding. It’s not every day that you have such a positive experience when you’re not feeling well. Very thankful to call this my new primary care office.

Dr. Keith was fantastic! We recently moved into the area and I needed a new primary care physician. Im 66 years years of age and Ive visited many doctors over the years. Dr. Keith is the best Ive ever seen...a warm and kind personality who exudes competence and great professionalism. Then when I had a blood draw for tests, Tina in the Lab was best Ive ever had: nice personality and quick, efficient, painless blood draw. My experience at Wake Med Fuquay-Varina far exceeded my every expectation. Couldnt be happier!

This facility is clean, efficient, customer friendly from the front desk staff to the nurses to the doctor we see. Dr David Keith is engaging,dedicated and thorough. My wife as an an array of complicated issues and Dr Keith has taken a personal interest to get to the bottom of what is going on with her condition. He calls with lab test results after hours and follows through with all referrals and requests for prescription fills and requests for paper work on disability claims. This is the best primary care we could have hoped for after years of neglect by others in the Fuquay community.

I had been seeing Dr. Prucha for about five years while he was with another provider. He always takes the time to explain things in easy-to-understand language. Once I found he had moved to WakeMed, I followed him. The office is easy to find with plenty of parking. Mayra (the M.A.) is an absolute delight to work with. She is very competent. Tina (the lab technician) is also wonderful. Overall, this is an excellent facility.

I came into this office for my annual physical and had to get some blood drawn. Tina drew my blood so quickly I didnt even feel when the needle went in or when it came out! One of the best blood drawing experiences Ive ever had! I am a fairly new patient of Anita Makowski. She is such a pleasure to have as a doctor. I have been a patient of multiple doctors throughout the country and she is by far my favorite family practice doctor! Its easy to see that she loves what she does. A few times she has been running behind, but she was always apologetic and did not rush our time together in order to get back caught up. I recently made a last minute appointment and was able to be seen right away the next day. I love that the office found a time for me, as I was worried the whole night leading up to the appointment. I hope that my husband and I stay in this area for a long time, because I dont want to leave this practice anytime soon! Disclaimer: I work for WakeMed and was able to ask around about the best doctor to fit my personality & needs before seeing Anita.

Maghen is awesome. She gives me her attention to address my concerns. She asks for my input on treatment plans. She shows interest in who I am as a person and I appreciate that. Tina from the lab is great. Previously the staff would really struggle to draw my blood even though I’m usually an easy stick. Tina got me on the first try and was very pleasant.

Wake Med in Fuquay has awesome people. Miss Pam was very helpful and very nice. It was a very fun appointment. I told her that shes an angel sent from above.Dr. Moore is very knowledgeble. I needed a primary care doctor locally and checked out the various doctor sites. WakeMed in Fuquay Varina had the best reviews so decided to give them a try. Really glad I did. Great young doctor with a positive and friendly attitude. Cheerful office staff and the lab was easy and painless. I absolutely suggest you call them.

Wake Med (Fuquay Primary Care) is awesome! I have nothing but good things to say. I see Anita (PA) and she is caring, thorough and down to earth. She has successfully helped me with any health issues I had! I especially love the communication through MyChart...Anita is very prompt at responding and it’s a very convenient. The facility is nice, always friendly office staff and nurses. And Tina in the lab is fantastic as well!

My husband waited an hour to be called back for a scheduled physical and lab work, unacceptable wait time. In addition, the physician forgot to order the correct labs (clearly listed on the physical form). Nobody called to tell us this , I only found out because I called to see if the physical form was ready to be picked up. My husband had to go back to the lab during his work day for another lab draw and it took 10 days to have the physical form and lab work ready for pick (to be submitted to our health insurance). Overall, not a good experience.

Such an organized and efficient office! Both the PA (Anita) and the lab technician (Tina) were amazing. All of my questions were answered and they took great care of me. Highly recommend!

First let me start by saying that Dr. Moore is top notch!! But that is where the good stops with this place. Every time I go in for an appointment I wait at least an hour after my appointment time to even be called back (yes called back NOT SEEN). They simply do not respect anyones time but their own. If you have plenty of time to waste and want to see a good doctor then grab a good book, and be prepared to wait!

I had a great experience at this location! They got me in quick and I saw Dr. Prucha who is the epitome of a great doctor! He was so thorough and took his time with me. Even knowing that next month Id be going to a different practice due to a change in insurance. He was very well-versed in nutrition and I didnt feel like he was the type to push a bunch of unnecessary medications. Also Tina, who drew my blood, was amazing and as someone who hates getting blood drawn, I didnt even feel it! Usually I have trouble with them finding my vein but she was so great and quick. Highly recommend this practice.

I have been going here for about 2 years. I picked this location because it is one street over from work. Since October I have been having issues my doctor has listened to me about my symptoms. Very understanding with each visit. Helping me with my health issues. It is hard to find a doctor that will listen to your health concerns. They have truly been dedicated to my health.

They were very thorough and answered all of the many questions I had and even suggested some things I may want to do later on. I dont know why there are so many bad reviews. I have been to this office multiple times and have had a great experience each time. Wait times are normal for any doctors office. Ive seen 2 of the doctors and the PA and each of them were excellent. The ladies up front are super helpful and nice which is hard to find these days! I recommend this office to my friends regularly.

Dr Kessler has provided me with excellent care for the past 5 years. I cannot say enough about her quality of care and upbeat attitude. I recently moved and still drive over an hour to continue as her patient!

My husband saw Dr. Prucha for the first time in Fuquay and he has decided to continue to see him as his primary care provider. When Dr.Prucha came into the exam room, it was obvious that he read through my husband’s medical history. He is an outstanding physician and made some medication changes which have been beneficial. I trust that he will do an excellent job caring for my husband and coordinating with my husband ‘s specialists. As a side note, he also has a great sense of humor and knows how to put his patients at ease.

Dr. Pruchta listened very well and showed concern about my issue. Hes very knowledgeable and respects his patients.Pam, the front desk receptionist, is always smiling, caring, efficient, and just pleasant to be around. Shes great!I also had blood work drawn from the lab. Tina, the phlebotomist, is honestly the best person for the job. She did a better job than anyone ever has.

My visit with Dr. Prucha and the staff went very well from beginning to end. Im sure the rest of the receptionist staff is great, but we interacted with Pam and she is extremely helpful and extremely welcoming... even first thing in the morning :-) Dr. Prucha truly has his patients best interest at heart and sincerely cares about my well-being. You can definitely tell he puts all of his energy with finding answers for ailments... even when other options have not been successful. A portion of our visit included lab work, so I had to get blood drawn and Tina was just the best. Pleasant to be around, didnt feel the stick at all, and extremely efficient. Such a great staff at this location, thank you!

A great experience dealing with the staff and medical care provider Ashley Greer. Our entire family has been going here since we moved here. The practice has gone thru so many wonderful updates and even though some doctors have moved to other locations of Wake Med, the doctors are still amazing.

Dr. Kessler has been my physician since 2014, she goes out of her way to help in any way she can. She is approachable, courteous, kind, & she knows what she is doing. The only sad part I have found is I want my children to be her patients, but she is not taking new patients right now because she is completely booked.

Reserved a spot for 5, got there at 4:45, 2 hrs I waited, Ive been in emergency rooms and never waited that long, see the doctor she. said tendonitis in my thumb an gives me a splint an prednisone an tells me to take tylenol every 8 hrs😪, Ive been taking tylenol every hr 1000mg trying to get out of the pain, I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS URGENT CARE. Going to orthopedic for real treatment , total waste of my time an 75 co-pay!

I had a visit today to establish a relationship with a new doctor. I met with Anita Marie Makowski PA-C. While other physicians in the past have made me feel like I was being rushed out of the office so they could get onto their next appointment, Anita made me feel like she had all day to listen to all of my concerns and made me feel absolutely comfortable. I then had blood drawn by phlebotomist Tina. I have a huge fear of needles, but she was so kind and I barley felt anything!

3:00 appointment. They say it may be around 4:30 before they can see me. No need to make appointments here.4:40 still sitting in waiting room..lol unbelievable

I had a 2:00 appointment time. I arrived 5 minutes early. As I sit here writing this review at 2:45, I am still sitting in the waiting room. People that arrived after me have been taken back. Clearly they need to work on their time management skills. I understand taking time with your patients but this is beyond ridiculous. I will NOT be coming back.

I have never had a bad experience with this practice. The receptionists are always friendly and helpful. The staff is welcoming. Dr. Crewes is typically on time and is attentive with the issues I come in with. I dont normally post reviews, but the Google Reviews being so low shocked me and I felt the need to interject.

From the check-in process for a new patient, through meeting Dr. Lin, and including the lab proceedures, nothing couildve been that we agreed was a better.Dr. Lin is very professional, knowledgable, and truely interested in my medical history (75 years), the meds, and presented a plan that we agreed to follow. Today I had an appointment for my annual check up. When I arrived, the lady at the front desk told me I had cancelled the appointment. When I assured her I had not, she checked further and found that she had cancelled the appointment. She said she had sent me an email. I assured her I had not received such an email. I took a deep breathe and asked when I could be seen. A month away! All this took 20 minutes. I would think that a professional office staff would be certain the patient knew the appointment was cancelled. Unacceptable!.

Dr. Prucha is a wonderful doctor. I have never felt rushed and am treated with care as an individual. I am always listened to and Dr. Prucha takes his time to discuss my history, concerns, and answer questions. The front desk staff are so kind, as are the medical staff. I cant reccomend this place, and Dr. Prucha, enough!

I was greeted warmly and friendly by the front office staff. The MA, Sally, was also friendly. My PCP, Dr Prucha, asked questions, explained options, and spent quality time with me. Tina, in the lab, was friendly and professional as well.

Moving to the Raleigh area about 5 years ago I visited many different practices within my network until I came across Dr. Prucha. He has an unique ability in balancing a professional and personal relationship making me feel like I knew him for many years after the first meeting. Easily the best Physician I have ever had the pleasure to meet. When he joined the WakeMed team in Fuquay, I willingly travel 30 plus minutes to maintain my relationship. I would highly recommend Dr. Prucha and the WakeMed organization if you are new to the area or looking for a change!

I had an appointment yesterday with Dr. Moore, and then was back this morning for blood work. Everybody is very friendly, the process is smooth and using MyChart keeps everything in one place. My phlebotomist this morning was great, very friendly and fast.

I LOVE the folks at Wake Med Fuquay Varina, I see Maghen Eakle for primary care and Tina in the lab does my blood work, and let me say, I am a tough stick and normally in the past have had to endure several pokes to find my rolling veins, but Tina gets it the first time every time! everyone here is so friendly and caring, it is a wonderful practice with lots of caring providers

Yesterday was my first visit to this practice as my PCP (Dr. Prucha) recently started at this location after leaving Duke. I thought the staff was lovely; everyone was kind and helpful. As always, I was delighted to see my Doctor, especially since I had to go without him for 6 months during his transition. I would strongly encourage any prospective patient of the practice to schedule with Dr. Prucha if they are undecided who they might want to see. I, myself, work as medical office manager within the Triangle area and have had the pleasure to meet many physicians and other clinical staff and Dr. Prucha is always a provider who will stand out, in my mind. He truly brings a high level of soft skills and emotional intelligence into the clinical arena which is generally thought of as more rigid and icy. His bedside manner is an absolute breath of fresh air. Whether Ive been coming in for a sick or well visit, seeing him always makes the experience enjoyable as opposed to the dreaded trip to the doctors office. I could continue my rave review but I will allow his ample talents to speak for themselves and implore you to put yourself on his schedule.

Dr. Kessler and staff is wonderful! They were very helpful getting me in on a day that I was in a lot of pain. Dr. Kessler took her time with me as we came up with a plan to treat me. She always takes her time with all of her patients and Im truly happy with her bedside manner, time, and patience.

I love the way Dr. Kessler cares about me and my healthcare needs. She is very thoughtful and thorough. The staff are extremely friendly and professional.

I visited Dr. Prucha who is new to this WakeMed office. I saw Dr. Prucha earlier today and was impressed with his level of care. He has a wonderful bedside manner and took the time to get to know me and listen to what was ailing me. We came up with a great solution to help and I love that he took the time to educate me on treatment options as well. I feel like I got more accomplished in one visit then I have with other PCPs and I love his approach to treating me as an individual. Its rare these days to find a doctor who isnt rushing in a out whos only goal is to get you out the door. I will definitely be back and I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for great care.

If I could give a 0 star review I would. Dr. Moore seemed to act like I was an inconvenience by trying to get my medication refilled to keep me alive. The appointment was scheduled with Dr. Moore after a really bad experience with Edens, PA, who seems to have no idea what bedside manner is. To be completely honest, neither one of these physicians have bed side manner. I think these two physicians would be much more useful in maybe the prison system! I am speaking for a co-worker that I care if he lives or dies, Perry W.

My wife and I saw Dr Prucha who is by far the best doctor we have had over the last 50 years. I have been so fortunate to have Dr. Ragini Tandon Madan as my physician over the past year or so. She actually listens to me and asks relevant questions. I recently moved to North Carolina from Pa. After searching the Internet I settled on WakeMed Faquay Varina. I am so happy I did. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with very friendly people. The receptionist was wonderful helping me get situated. I saw Dr Prucha and absolutely loved him. He was extremely attentive and I felt he was really listening. He is helping me to find a cardiologist and they come right to the office in Faquay !!! The M.A. Tee was fantastic as well. I needed bloodwork and it was taken right there by Tina, who did a fabulous job. My overall experience was fantastic. If you have to see a doctor, I recommend Dr Prucha and the staff at WakeMed-Faquay Varina.

The wait times are absolutely outrageous. Ive been sitting in this waiting room for an hour now, and people that have come in after me have already been seen. The receptionist is a sweetheart, but this office is a joke.

So far, I just made my 1st appointment and spoke with Carmen and she was very nice and helpful and helped me get the appt with a right Dr. Looking forward to see how it goes that day.

I had no scheduled appointment and walked in. Being an established patient of Dr Kessler, I asked if she was available to see. Carmencita (sp?) Was able to schedule me with Dr Kessler and my wait was minimal for no scheduled appointment. With the remodel taking place, I was glad the process was easy. Maya, Dr Kesslers assistant, was kind and professional. Of course, Dr Kessler, I would rate her with 20 Stars if you had that option. She made me feel better than when I arrived. On leaving, Pam was courteous, understanding, professional and warm hearted for each patient who came through the door. She is the kind of employee who should be recognized by Wake Med. In fact, add Carmencita to being recognized. I feel most of the behind the scenes employees dont get recognition and Wake Med needs to realize that. Thank you to my medical care team..everyone!!!

The coding for my doctor visit was done incorrectly so my insurance company did not pay the bill. I am trying to get the coding corrected, but there is only one person in the entire office who can handle it. I went down to the office, explained the situation to the very nice receptionists. They passed along the request with all of my information. However, nothing was done. I have been trying to get a hold of this one person and have left numerous voice messages over a 2 month period without one returned call. I am now getting calls that my bill will be going to collections if I dont pay it. Honestly, I will never go back now as I am afraid that this billing error will happen again.

I was able to meet and interact with the physicians, physician assistants, medical assistants, phlebotomist and front desk staff at this clinic-everyone was friendly, competent and caring. They take their time to listen and develop relationships with their patients.

Good doctors but wait times are insane. Not unusual to be waiting 30-45 minutes after scheduled appointment just to get out of the main waiting room.

HORRIBLE service. The front receptionist and Dr. Kessler are great. The Office Manager is terrible! I had routine lab work with my routine physical which is supposed to be covered 100%. I got a bill for $140 for the lab work. I called the office trying to get it fixed and that started the 3 month process of voicemails, messages left with the other staff to give to her, in person messages left, and a message sent via MyChart. No call back in almost 3 months! All I needed was to get this fixed so that the lab work was covered by my insurance. I recently found out through my own research that the Office Manager had sent the lab work to a lab that is not in my insurance carriers network. She was supposed to check before sending the lab work but did not. The date of service for this lab work was over a year ago! It is absolutely ridiculous! I would have loved to go back to see Dr. Kessler again, but sadly I will never go back there due to the terrible service from the Office Manager.

Dr. Prucha was great. Very thorough and reassuring.

Having recently moved to the area my husband and I were looking for a new primary care physician. I secured two appts. for this past April, 2014. I spoke with Gayle, the person making the appts. several times and each time I asked if they took our insurance. Each time I was told yes. At our appts. they took our insurance cards, we paid our co-pay and then we waited at least fifteen minutes in which there was time to discover any errors. We were escorted to the doctor and began our physicals. In the middle of mine I was taken for blood work and when I returned my husband was being examined. All of a sudden the door opened and the clerk told the doctor not to create any more charges because there was a problem. Our physicals were over!!! We tried to go to the check-in but instead was escorted to an empty office and told to wait. Gayle, the office guru who had assured us multiple times they took our insurance came in. She apologized a dozen times saying it was all her fault. She remembered assuring me they took our insurance and said for us to go home because she was going to call our insurance company to see if they had an out of network allowance. To say we were angry and frustrated would be minimal. By the time we got home she had left a message saying no, there was no out of network allowance but not to worry, she was taking full responsibility and would work on it. We never heard from Gayle again, ever. We seemed to be assigned another person, Keema. I didnt think businesses were allowed to have caller ID but this office had to because every time I called they said, Hello Barbara before I even identified myself. This also gave them the choice to answer when they didnt want to. I was left on hold one day long after the office closed. I wasnt being stupid, I wanted them to hang them selves to give me reason to go to their office in person once more and thats exactly what I did. The next morning we got there just in time to get in line behind another very angry patient who kept asking them why was she left on hold the day before for more than an hour. Well at least they werent being choosy, they seemed to be nasty to everyone. Then the bills started rolling in. One after another for both of us. Calling them to get this straightened out was more than a nightmare. I was given one excuse after another until they said they were going to have to absorb the charges because they were wrongfully billed to us. These bills totaled nearly four hundred dollars. Did they really expect us to pay for their mistake? Yes. Then Keema told us that since they didnt take our insurance it would only be right that they return our co-pay. That was great because now we had to pay our once again newly acquired primary care physician. The only problem was they had no proof that my husband paid that day. I asked her, Really, how did he get past the front desk? She said she understood but the burden of proof was ours. So now I had to get our bank involved. Once I told the bank the problem they provided us with the proper statement. Once more after making our own copies we hand carried the bank statement to their office. This has been one of the worse situations we have ever been up against. It is nearly five months and just last week my husband got his refund check. It was pretty comical because the accompanying letter said in going over their accounts they realized we had over paid and enclosed was his refund. What a crock!!!! Yesterday we got another bill which is what prompted me to write this review. Such aggravation! We never got a chance to know the doctor but I can tell you the office staff leaves a lot to be desired. There might be a few good ones but like anything else the undesirables rose to the top. I would never recommend that office to anyone because of the help. At the top of this page where the rating starsare please disregard the one star. I would have chosen hated it but it wasnt visible until I rated it.

Imagine sitting around for 45 minutes after your appointment time? They expect the patient to be on time but they dont respect my time. Sad.Come to find out they knew the doctor was behind by 30 minutes! Why couldnt they call and reschedule so I wouldnt have to sit around in there office!?

Dont go here unless you wanna wait a hour past your posted scheduled appointment time. It happens EVERYTIME. Never fails to have someone else also that has to go up to the receptionist and complain that theyve been waiting too long as well. 😒

I feel bad for the decent doctors that have to work for such a complete shitshow.

I had an appointment at 10:45am. I showed up about 20 minutes early. Here it is 11:20 and I still havent been seen yet. If I was 30 minutes late for my appointment they would have turned me away.

The staff was very accommodating and friendly.

Cant keep there appointment times. I waited 1 hour with me son then I had to fast and waited an 1 hour to get in. And now I had to wait again after my appointment time.

I can never speak to anyone over the phone when I try to call. I leave messages and they are never returned.
