A lot of changes since my last visit almost 3 years ago. Everyone was courteous and very professional. The doctor was very detailed and thorough in going through the exam. The staff was also very patient and allowed me to take my time so I can pick the best frame for myself. Overall a great experience.

My husband and I have been going to the Fullerton location for years. Doctors are very nice and detail with everything. Staff is very friendly, I forgot the staff’s name but he was very patient with me and offer great suggestions with my glasses and helped my husband picked out a very nice sunglasses that he loves. Definitely my favorite place to look for glasses!! Lovely people and friendly environment!!

I’ve been going to Focal Point since I was in 5th grade. I’m now 27, just to give you an idea of how pleased I have felt with the services I’ve received from everyone here. Not once have I felt the need to find a different optometrist. The front desk staff and optometrists as well as the insurance/financial staff are kind, patient, and always explain things in detail for me. They were nice. Miss Dr. Alvin Areanno. My only concern was they did not dilute the eyes. Then they work with the state of the art latest equipment. Very impressive. They all were very attentive as well. Thanks to Andrea for helping me chose the frame. Overall a positive experience.

Everyone was so nice and helpful. The doctor showed me pictures of the inside of my eyes and compared them to other eyes so I can see what potentially unhealthy eyes look like, but mine are healthy! He also gave me a free sample of eye drops and a coupon if I need more. Additionally, I was assisted by two others in finding a pair of glasses that suited me, both in the frame of my face and in color. Highly recommend!

It’s nice experience . They are all nice and hospitable . Dr Chris explain everything I need to know , very welcoming . I recommend this eye clinic . One tip if you will an appointment with them just make sure you give them the right info like your phone number and email address cause they will send u a questionnaire to answer and that helps you save time of waiting .. I’ll give them 10 stars for that experience.

Great experience from start to finish. Professional and courteous staff all around. Everyone was polite and great to talk to. The exam was quick and thorough all at the same time. Getting frames was easy thanks to Ric finding options that would fit my face well and look good with my complexion. I had a selection to choose from and they all looked/fit great. I cannot recommend these wonderful people enough. If you need glasses, go here and you will not be disappointed.

I love going to Focal Point Optometry in Fullerton. There is no waiting to be seen by the doctor. Their equipment is state of the art and the doctor does a fabulous job explaining the condition of your eye and vision. I spent about 45 minutes with Ric who decoded all the various options I have in selecting my frame and lens. His knowledge was incredible and his demeanor and persona was pleasant and professional. Thank you for taking good care of my eyes! I highly recommend them for all your optometry needs!

This place is full equipped. Doctor is very kind and experienced. My mom has presbyopia because of aging and her old reading glasses were not clear. She took an eye examination here and got the new prescription by doctor’s help. There also have a ton of frames to choose. My mom’s eyes are itchy sometimes, the doctor also gave us a $5 off coupon to buy eye drops.

Everyone answered any questions I had about my routine eye exam and the eye doctor Chris did a good job of explaining my condition.

I was in and out in less than an hour. The staff was so friendly and enjoyed with they did. (Especially for being an early Saturday morning!) Definitely recommend to anyone who appreciates patience with fast and friendly service.

I have been going to Focal Point for 17 yrs. I’ve never had an issue with any of the staff or Drs. The amount of care and time they give you is really amazing. You are not pushed out the door nor feel like you’re just a medical file to them. Everyone there is great however I just wanted to say that Ric is amazing. He helped me choose the exact frames that I was looking for with very little detail. He did the same for my teenage daughter. I tried to help her but could not find what she was looking for. The young lady that was helping us picked out a few frames for her but still not quite what she wanted. Ric noticed we couldn’t find her frames & gave her suggestions. He was closer to what she was looking for than I was. Thank you Ric. Thank you all for always making our visits to your office a great one.

I have been a FPO customer for many years. I like the customer support, texts reminding me of appointments and providing status of my new glasses. The staff is very customer oriented and follow very strict safety rules to protect themselves and the customers against possible contamination.They also have a very good variety of frames (I love the Oakley and Maui Jim). At times they also have offers on frames.

Focal Point Optometry always does a great job. They are professional but friendly and they don’t push products or treatments on you. I go in every year for my eye exam and each time they accommodate my needs. I would recommend checking them out if you are in need of an eye doctor in Fullerton.

Friendly and accommodating staff. My appointment had not showed for the day even though it was scheduled ahead of time. The staff was quick to apologize and still fit me in! Most places would’ve said sorry come back on such n’ such day. They definitely care about their patients and always make you feel welcomed. They have heavy COVID safe practices in place so you don’t have to worry while your there. My whole family goes there for our optometrist needs.

I have been a patient at Focal Point Optometry since their opening. I have always been treated with warm professionalism at each of my annual trips. I value my relationship with Dr. Arellano and each member of his team.

I switched optometrists recently and I have mixed feelings with my experience at this new service provider.1. The front desk staff was very professional and nice.2. The optometrist was very welcoming, knowledgeable about my prescription and how my driving is effected. She just seemed so upbeat, kind, professional but friendly.3. Glasses/sunglasses selection is good not awesome.4. Turnaround for delivery of glasses was sooner than expected.5. They were honest about what I was being charged for and did not try to over-sell me on other items I did not need nor ask for.6.The personnel was knowledgeable of VSPs discount for select name brand frames. I didnt even have to provide the coupon.7. Got my corrected glasses back from the lab and they are perfect. No blurriness, no transitional lenses, no issue. Looks like the issues with the glasses the first time around was on the lab as they messed up my prescription and probably gave me someone elses altogether.Cons1. The glasses were blurry and almost gave me a headache. It was explained that a new prescription (different from old pair) may be blurry and take a week to get used to.2. The glasses ended up have transitional lenses which I purposely said I did not want because I would prefer to have a second pair of frames...prescription sunglasses. To Focal Points credit this was an error made by the lab. I just feel that Focal Point should check all orders before calling in the customer for pickup.3. I didnt leave the parking lot before realizing the mistake and thus, took them back. They said they would send them rush on Monday (it was Saturday). It is now Friday and I still do not have the glasses even though the order was rushed.4. When I originally set up the appt. I told a clerk that I would fill out the new patient app online and she said, okay. When I arrived for my appt and noted my completion of said form I was informed the application did not work. The woman who took my appt should have known such. I wasted time completing the application online and still had to do it in writing at the clinic.I give them a neutral score because front desk and professional staff that have good attitudes and are helpful beats the opposite any time. Id rather have courteous/professional staff in the end. A bad attitude can get you a 1 star rating really fast.

The person in charge of this clinic is not professional he is not to give the money that has my wife as credit for having glasses This credit is already 3 years old and they refuse to give back the money !!! Doctor you know of this abuse?
