I had various foot issues. And after surgery I had difficulty walking, finding and keeping my balance. I was able to visit Custom Footworks within days of being referred by my Podiatrist. The staff is responsive, friendly and supportive. From the moment I met Larry I knew I had come to the right person. He was careful, efficient, caring and didn’t settle until the inserts he made for me were absolutely perfect. The biggest shocker - a previous company had taken more than three months to get me the inserts I needed. Larry makes them on the premises while you wait! That was amazing. This was a great experience and I can finally, after almost 12 months, walk confidently and comfortably. I wish I could give him 10 stars!

Thanks to Larry, I am able to live without constant pain in my feet and heels. I had previously tried steroid injections in my feet three different times. Even though I knew several people who were bought relief from the injections, I got very little relief. I dropped $1,000 at The Good Feet Store. That was a complete waste of money, Went to a podiatrist and started with non custom inserts Velcro support straps, and oral non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Those seemed to make a difference for a short period of time, however, it did not last. I had been in pain for about one year before I heard about Larry Urben and Custom Footworks from my husbands client. I decided to stop seeing my podiatrist and visit Larry. Even though I knew that his office was closed on Fridays, I decided to call and leave a voicemail. I was surprised when I received a return call that day! I was told about the price range of the custom inserts, and that insurance would not be filed. I was given information that I could file insurance myself, but most would not cover the inserts.I made an appointment for a couple of weeks out. Larry spent 1 1/2 hours with me and I took home my temporary inserts, along with a wearing schedule. When I got my orthotics, Larry worked with me on stretches, and we discussed proper shoes. He was great, and his staff was awesome too. Im now about ten weeks out, and Im back to being able to walk eight to ten miles without constant pain. When I think about the money that I spent on X-rays, MRIs, shots, pills, and expensive inserts that were of no help, I wish I had known about Larry sooner. The $500 spent at Custom Footworks was definitely worth it! I highly recommend Larry Urben at Custom Footworks!

By Far the best place for those who need custom shoe orthotics. I work for the Railroad and can be on my feet for 10-12 hours a day, after using the custom fit orthotics I’m not sore or feeling any pain in my feet or lower back.

I went to Larry based on a referral from the orthopedist Id been seeing for my plantar fasciitis. Being recommended by a doctor gave me an extra level of confidence in his abilities. I have been wearing custom orthotics for 2 years now and have never had another issue with my feet and I think it has helped my back pain as well. All of the PT, cortisone injections and strange foot contraptions the doctor gave me couldnt do what these babies do for me. They arent cheap but well worth the investment. Just this week I took them in to be recovered as I apparently dig in with my toes when I walk and was pleasantly surprised that he did not charge me for the service. Just another reason Im so glad to have found them!

Had more problems with these orthotics than without. Made an appointment to have them looked at for a 2nd time but was called with a bad attitude and was told they would refund my money. That’s great but the professionalism was nonexistent and the orthotics were useless. So if you really have foot issues you won’t get help unless the orthotics are perfect for you the first time🙄. See a real Dr. who does orthotics.

I was out in less than hour with custom made inserts. The experience and results were great.

My feet and knees have had a lot of problems from military training and injuries. Since getting my custom inserts (it took a few months for my body to adjust) my feet are no longer bothering me. This has also resolved issues in my achilles and up to my knees. I flew out from KC to get these and it was worth every penny, they have been life changing. I can run again!Larry was able to guess problems farther up my legs just based on looking at my feet that I had not told him. He was FAR more comprehensive than the podiatrist I went to. It has taken a couple months for my body to adjust and I had to ease into running but Im back to training again. Thank you!

If there was a MINUS TEN, that is what I would rate Larry Urbans Custom Footworks. It took 6 months and 4 pair of the wrong shoes for him to complete still an inferior product. Larry is a really nice person but does not have the knowledge essential to accurately fit appropriate custom orthotic inserts and shoes. He fitted me with shoes that were Narrow Last...My foot is a fat foot, flat footed, and requires a Metatarsal arch support. He ignored my request for the Metatarsal support...no x-rays were taken so now, I am experiencing significant hip and knee pain. Further, the receptionist is rude and condescending. She spent lots of time grooming herself and re-arranging her expensive hair style. I was required to pay up front for a product that did harm to my feet, legs, hip, and back. STAY AWAY! Becky is a horribly rude and condescending person. After spending hundreds of dollars on their products and trying to get some help with a work appropriate shoe or a note for work she refused to help and acted like I didnt even need this insoles for my feet some she didnt have a referral on file.
