Went into Frisco West Carenow location and the service was absolutely perfect.Associates were friendly and proficient. I was in and seen for a drug test in virtually no time at all.Facility was clean and i even saw an associate taking time to sanitize all the pens. Thank you for taking your customers health and wellness so seriously.

Went here for a pre-employment screening after a failed attempt at another location. The front desk was wonderful and thanked me for coming there and that everything was going to be ok! Overall time I was there was maybe 30 min. Not bad for an urgent care in a busy area.Id recommend them!!!!

Awesome visit. Went smoothly! The people at the front were great and friendly. The nurse I had was sweet and thorough! The time I waited was less than 15 minutes (they took me earlier than my time I scheduled). Definitely recommend this place!

I came here on Saturday with a burn. I walked in the guy at the front didn’t ask why I was there, he said “first and last name”. I said oh I didn’t make an appointment. He just repeated first and last name. I gave it to him. He asked for my address and phone number. That was it.The nurse brought me back.Pros:The nurse was very nice.They do not have anything on site for burns. The doctor was just sitting out on the computer. My husband had to go ask her to come in so we could get care or leave to find it elsewhere. Saw me for 5 seconds, basically just to tell me they don’t have opioids on site either (which I didn’t ask for or want). She barely looked at my burn. The nurse and my husband had to remind her twice I’m pregnant and cannot just take anything.Finally we got the prescription for a cream that I could put on the burn, the front desk guy then stops us and says I’m not fully registered and we need to finish that. My problem here is I was the only one there when I arrived so he could have been doing that while I was just sitting waiting for the doctor. Two he was rude the whole time. Three I was still in pain as they did not help with that aspect (only offered Tylenol which they didn’t even ask if I’d already taken).Cons:$180 for an ice pack and antibiotic which I was instructed to wipe off in the car once I got my prescription. Non attentive doctor.

What a great urgent care center!! We needed a COVID rapid for international travel and the team at this Care Now West Frisco fixed us up. They were accommodating and very friendly. Online check-in was a breeze. The nurse who administered the test was kind and put us at ease. Overall, I couldn’t ask for a better clinic experience. Well done!

I love the Dr. and nurses here. They are kind and helpful. They listen well, and explain things well.They have a great system. You walk in and get on the list, and then they text you when your appointment has come up, so your actual wait time in the clinic is minimal.I come here when my regular Doctor is too busy to see me. I wish Care Now could be my primary care Dr.

With web checking, I was able to wait at home until they were ready for me. Once I arrived, I had a very short wait in the waiting room before heading back. Intake nurse was awesome and very efficient. I did not wait long to see the doctor. He was very attentive, discussed options, and answered any and all questions I had.

They have a confusing process to register and receive service. I set up an appointment through the internet and also got registered. I called the clinic and received instructions to arrive at 5 pm. When I came to the clinic, the person in the front told me that I had 9 people ahead of me to be attended. Theres no reason to have an appointment system and not honor it.

Love that you can wait at home and they call when you can come in. The staff was very friendly and we loved the physician! She was very nice and took time to explain things and answer any questions we had. We will be going back when necessary.

Medical billing practices are a scam in their own right, but CareNow’s are no exception. They are over priced and billed more after the initial payment, which was supposed to be enough after they prechecked the insurance.Based on other reviews, this is a recurring theme and price point, especially for a 20 minute appointment to mis-diagnose a sinus infection. It’s a two-star review because they’re check in system worked alright and I didn’t wait over 15 minutes.

The worst part even you going with online. Check in you have to wait in the room for at least more than an hour they have to work on this otherwise there are so many other urgent cares nearby what’s the point for online check in ! And. It happen always the same !

I strongly suggest they update their online check in reservation system. I signed up to be seen last night around 6:00 pm, went through the very long and tedious process of setting up a new account, answering new patient questions, entering insurance information, and signing forms. Then around 7:36pm they called me to let me know they would not be able to see me. I couldve been rushing to see a different Urgent Care and not wasted my time setting up a new account. And the person who called wasnt very hospitable. Is this Nina? Whats wrong with you today? Sore throat? Well were not going to be able to see you tonight. Sorry.

Check in was a breeze online, all paperwork can be done ahead of time. They called to let me know I could come in very quickly. This location is super clean, everyone is very friendly, thorough and respectful. I would definitely use them again as needed.

$503 charged to my insurance for a 20 minute visit with the rudest doctor I have ever met. What. a. scam. I will never visit another carenow for the rest of my life and I suggest you dont either.

I always go here and it’s usually good until today. I understand people are sick and it’s the time of COVID but all I had to do was pee in a cup for a test. I sat in the waiting room for over an hour and almost had an accident on their floor. If they weren’t ready why did they call me an hour early?

The visit to the Care Now today was very good I make an appointment in the morning and called me when they were ready to take me in.

Other than the wait time, the medical staff was very professional. The dr. who saw my son was wonderful with him as he had a cut stitched up. Highly recommend this place for minor to medium emergencies over a standard hospital ER.

The front desk staff in Frisco and Prosper were so kind. Frisco was booked and I agreed to the wait time. I received a phone call 10 minutes later from their Prosper location. They had no wait time and asked would I like to be seen right away. I had no idea the Frisco location communicated with their sister location by forwarding over my information in case they had earlier availability. Blew my mind. Amazing angel-nurses, money saved and no time wasted. Thank you for your compassion. I know you truly care.

The doctor and his medical assistant were great. Really listened and were caring. They deserve 5 stars. On the other hand, the front desk person could use some lessons in customer service. She didnt seem to show any interest in answering questions.

While I appreciate the ability to get a covid test done because the college requires it before returning to school. I wish they would have told me how much time I would waste. They did the test over 45 minutes ago (type that has to be sent out). Yet I cant leave because the doctor needs to see us. We only came in for a covid test as required by the school.

They couldnt serve me because their Lab Tech went home early, which also forced several other patients to drive to another CareNow location as well.I get to the new location and I can hear people in the back asking, Why dont they ever have a lab tech?If you need X-rays or urine tests or anything else involving a lab tech - I would save your time and go to a different location.

I love the mobile check in process. It definitely makes everything faster. The staff is very friendly; the rooms and lobby are very clean; and the service is quick and easy. I was able to come during a lunch break and still get to work on time. Great experience, definitely give them a try.

Our West Frisco Care Now location has been open for years. When so many other Urgent Care centers seem to open and then close shortly afterwards, Care Now has remained because of their excellent staff of Doctors and nurses, and the people who run the reception desk.When I need to be seen for something either after hours or on the weekends, I always choose this Care Now. Thanks for always being there and taking care of us in the surrounding communities.

I’ve been in twice and received care that I can’t complain about. I recently went in on 9/3 for a UTI. I was put on an antibiotic and started experiencing “severe” side effects (fever, chills, body aches). Last night I discontinued the medication (Macrobid) until I could speak to the doctor or nurse. I’ve been calling all day to discuss this and get my culture results. I left a message for the nurse and spoke to someone at the front desk this morning. I still haven’t heard back. Now when I call and select the option to speak to clinic staff, it’ll ring 2-3 times and disconnect. I’ve spent a total of a hour trying to get ahold of someone today!Even though the staff is nice, the office seems to be terribly managed and I will not be returning.EDIT TO UPDATEBusiness responded to this review, but nobody has tried to contact me.

I wanted to give a shout out to all the Care Now employees in Little Elm, TX. Laquite English was working at the front desk and I must say that she was very informative, calm, cool and collective. She had patience for her patients and her professionalism was outstanding. Thank you Ms. English for taking care of me during my visit. Excellent experience during these crazy tine.CareNow was there for me when my own primary care office was not. After multiple days of suffering from runny nose and allergy symptoms I found myself with no voice and a sore throat. I also had been around other co-workers during that time and needed to rule out COVID and Strep. My own primary care would only see me via TeleVisit and call in COVID test to CVS or Walgreens if needed. CareNow got me in within a couple hours and were able to administer and deliver results in less than 30 min.Great staff - so glad they are there! Thank you CareNow

Prepare for VERY long wait times, even if you do the online check in to “wait comfortably in your home”. I did this and was called around 3:30 saying we can take you now or at 4, I said I was working but would wrap up and be there at 4. I made it a couple minutes before four with only one other person in the waiting area. I waited ONE HOUR once I arrived to be taken back and was then left in the little room for almost 45 minutes to see the doctor. Come prepared with a phone charger! Don’t be scammed by “wait at home”. I was absolutely miserable with my ear infection having to wait in that place. They had a movie playing that ended right when I showed up so it went back to the main menu and I had to listen to the Pacifier theme music play on loop for an hour.

Everyone there was very friendly. I highly recommend and its 5 minutes from Frisco Lakes

I was asked to come to the clinic at 10:37. I got here at 10:45. Checked pressure and weight and put me in a room at about 11:25. The time now is 12:41 now. I am still in the room waiting for a doctor. They cannot even give an approximate time the doctor will come to my room.

WOW! Everything from the time I walked in went way above my expectations! Great people from front desk to Doctor, but my biggest surprise was Sandy the nurse brought me water & a cough drop! Never had such thoughtfulness @ a doctors/urgent care office before.

If negative stars were an option……. I had scheduled an 11:00 am appointment online, 2 hours sitting in the waiting room and I finally saw a doctor. The thing is, the waiting room was practically empty, except for 2 COVID patients who were encouraged to wait inside the practice. Turns out intentional long waits are the norm, so no surprises from the staff or accountability.

I got online and checked in at 3:00, filled out all of the paperwork, pics of my insurance card etc... it said first available apt 4:00 & they close at 5:00.I got a call when I was heading over that it would be a 6 hour wait. She said they only had one doctor and assistant and lots of people already waiting with more in the way in. I thought maybe they were exaggerating, discouraging me from coming in near closing time when they already had people waiting in there lobby.I was almost there, so went ahead to check it out, it was crazy FULL, no where to park, people waiting in their cars, standing outside and a really FULL lobby.I think they need a feature on their website that says they have no more apts available for the day, when they are obviously in over their heads.I drove 5 mins down the street to Legacy ER and was in and out in 45 mins. Lots of staff members there & only 3 people in the waiting area (instead of 30). Point is I waisted probably 1.5 hours on Care Now.... longer than the whole process at the other Urgent Care.

All I needed was a Covid test because my husband, daughter and myself are going out of the country and it’s required. I get there and they tell me that it’s going to cost 180$ per person because they are doing a dr visit. I informed that I didn’t need a dr visit just a Covid test that is required for travel. I then stated “I thought Covid test are supposed to be free?” Her response is well the test is but you have to pay for a dr visit and that you have to have a dr visit to have a Covid test. This is absolutely Ridiculous. So it’s going to cost my family and I over 500$ just to have a test that does not require a dr visit at all.What a way to work the system and rip people off.

I don’t understand how this is suppose to be fast and why u do a pre check in when they make u wait another hour in the waiting room just to get back to another room to wait. Why do they ask how long it takes to get to the office if you are just gonna have to sit and wait. It’s more productive to have less people in the waiting room and get people out faster. So this place is a joke when u need it the most. I would rather go to another urgent care then step foot here when they can’t get their act together with making people wait such a long time. What’s the point at all to pick a time to be there when the time is an hour after that. If I said after two instead of after three. Not the best facility to take ur daughter to if you have to sit and wait for an appointment that’s an hour past. Maybe be more efficient in how u do things. But no it’s more about the money that anything else in this facility. Won’t be going here again if it’s the last straw. Ridiculous at how things are handled.

The reception staff seemed as if they couldnt care less that they were at their jobs and were more interested in talking to each other than actually helping. I dont want to be the person that complains about that because I get it, being at work isnt fun, but I just want to have a little courtesy shown if Im going to be there to pay for a service. As I tried to fill out the paperwork required, I was quickly shuffled down the hall and into a room where the nurse took down my information, again, quite hurriedly, and with little interest. While I do appreciate expediency, a doctors office isnt an ideal place for it.

Everyone at CareNow clinic Main Street Frisco is very nice and professional. I was able to ask them about multiple issues I was having and they were able to provide me some relief. I was in without a formal appointment in less than 2 hours.

I was sent to this Care Now facility for COVID testing in advance of a procedure at Medical City Frisco. Check in was easy. All staff were exceedingly friendly and efficient.

The doctor/nurse were nice and quick. But when customers come to these locations, they are not looking to wait a hour and 45 mins like I did. Communicate with patients time better.

Seriously what are other talking about. They have Nurse Assistant in training making decision. Pathetic. Where are the main doctors. I will never ever go here

Unless an emergency avoid. Checkin process is flawed and you will wait hour no matter what. Checked in the night before, was called right at 8 am and came in and had so many walking being taken back first for non-emergencies. Waited 3 hrs after checking in 12 hrs earlier.

The care now in West Frisco is a very good place to go to when you need medical attention. They’re attentive to care and I’ve gotten very good service there. I would recommend them to anyone.

Long wait time even if you do online check. I did online checkin and was called around 8:15am to come to clinic now. After reaching i waited 20minutes in reception and they put me in little room for One hour to see the doctor and again she took another 30 minutes only to give my prescription. I was absolutely miserable with my leg pain having to wait for longer time. If you have severe issue which needs to be treatment immediately, please don’t come in here.

They saved my life. I went in this morning feeling the worst I’ve ever felt. They gave me a shot and some prescriptions and I already feel like a different person.

I have been here once before and they were helpful I believe, but when I scheduled today I missed calls at 7 am (which do not appear in my call history?) and thus was told I missed myAppointment and could not check in online anymore. I was then told to come walk in and I would be seen “quickly”, so I drove all the way down there only to be told they had reached capacity for check ins and I would have to check in in a few hours to see if any spots had opened up, but I am not allowed to check in today as I had missed those calls(?).

Had to get a drug screening test done for new job, and the staff at CareNow was very prompt and professional. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Whether if it’s any one in my family is sick CareNow has always provided excellent customer service and top notch professional service with great bedside manners. I highly recommend CareNow on Main Street in Frisco, TX The staff is awesome.

Amanda F the front desk assistant, is definitely rude. Idk how anyone can speak to you without verifying the information. Especially when its clear she doesnt know what shes talk about. How can you travel with a rapid exam. Terrible experience. Amanda learn how to speak to people in distress and gain some patience. Itll do her much better.

Worst experience ever. I am shocked at the lack of understanding, urgency, and wherewithal of this team. So, I broke my ankle last night...1. As I am hoping on one foot across the parking lot the guy at the front desk just stares at me as another patient coming in with a bleeding hand helps me inside - he wasnt caring for anyone else btw.2. The first nurse who came in didnt know anything about any of the medications I was taking and asked me to spell them out and THEN asked me what the medication was used for.3. The second nurse who took me to get x-rays was obviously in a rush and had no regard for the fact that I couldnt position my foot how she wanted me to... because its broken.4. The doctor sent me to a 24hr pharmacy but forgot to send my prescription in.5. I called this morning to have them send it in and the nurse told me that the doctor I saw wasnt in and that she didnt see a prescription for me. I HAD TO ASK HER TO CHECK WITH ANOTHER DOCTOR TO VERIFY and she said she would see what she could doDont go here.

I made web check in and was asked to come 2hrs after my check in . when I received text message says we are ready for you and when I walked into clinic they took me another 2 hrs to be seen by doctor and my problem wasnt taken care at all. I just walked away letting the receptionist know after waiting long time . I wouldnt go this place nor suggest it atleast based on my experience.

I did not get past the web check-in stage. The young lady who immediately called me was rude and did not take the time to guide me through the process. She instead simply asked the reason I needed to be seen. No sense of empathy or understanding. I asked the expected wait time and she restated her comment about receiving a text message that could take up to 15 minutes to receive.There are urgent care centers on almost every corner now. I chose to take my business elsewhere. The entire clinical team could be great, but the lady in the front killed it for me. People have a choice where they spend their dollars and time.

This place is awesome! They do a complete annual physical right there, including bloods and other tests. They can also call my pharmacy to get the refills done, all in the same day. Dr. Culver was amazing, calming and very sharp. The nurse on the phone was also very kind and sweet to me. I will continue to go back and get my physicals done there every year.

I wish I could give 0/5 stars.For background, I was referred to this CareNow by the hospital as I am set for an induction in the coming week. In these times, you must be tested ahead of time for COVID-19 before coming in to be induced.I did absolutely everything I was supposed to do; I checked in online, did the registration, and waited for a phone call letting me know when to come in. I received a call and was out the door.I arrived at noon, and checked in at the front desk letting them know I was there for an appointment. The receptionist said they’d call me back shortly. I’m waiting 10-15 minutes. I’m called back and put in a room and told the doctor would be in shortly. I wait another 15 minutes.Keep in mind, I have been sitting in a clinic for 30 minutes, in the middle of a pandemic, at 40+ weeks pregnant. Oh, and the waiting room was not full; there were two other people there still filling out forms. I was incredibly uncomfortable and didn’t feel like I was in the best environment to be hanging out. I shouldn’t have been, considering I did everything I was supposed to do beforehand and they told me they were ready for me to come in. So, naturally, I left the patient room and went to the desk to ask when I’d be seen. I am not kidding when I was told, “sorry, the doctor is running late.” Are you joking? So, I’m told to come up here and the doctor is running late? I then ask, “when is the doctor supposed to be here?” And am met with “she should be here soon.”Well, naturally, at that point I’m baffled and speak my mind, outlining the fact that I did my part by making appointment and waiting on your call, and was told you’re ready for me to come in. And now I’m sitting in a clinic at 40 weeks pregnant in the middle of a pandemic and you’re telling me you don’t know when the doctor will be here? She says, “I think she’ll be here at 1:00.” Okay, so it’s after 12:35. No, pretty sure I’m not waiting another 30 minutes for her to get here. And I let her know. As I’m talking with the nurse practitioner in the hallway letting her know I can’t wait around for a late physician any longer and I’m not comfortable doing that, the doctor is arriving in the side door. The NP says, “oh, there she is now.”But wait, it gets better, another doctor that has been there this entire time finally gets up and grabs a swab kit and walks me back to be tested. The man has been there and could have tested me. He then has the audacity to say “it has actually only been 19 minutes.” And I very promptly said, “no, it actually hasn’t, I’ve been here since noon and it’s 12:40 now.” He apologizes and says he has “been slammed and it has just been him”...really? It doesn’t look like anyone is here. I get swabbed and walk out.Horrible organization, terrible planning, and poor service. Do not recommend.

Another great visit, I didn’t have to wait long at all to get called to the back. The nurse that took my vitals was very courteous and professional.
