Dr Amara was great the 1 time I managed to see him. Every other time they have pushed me off onto his PA who is not nearly as knowledgeable, doesnt listen, and has horrible bedside manner.I am currently recovering from covid, having heart issues as a result, and suffering from pneumonia and the first appointment they could manage for me is almost a month away.....

Dr Ramesh Amara is an excellent Doctor but I am afraid I cant say the same thing about his nurse staff. Every time I call her to ask a simple question, she gets offended for some reason and behaves very rudely. she even disconnected on me this time.

Made appointment on the phone. Used app to provide all info. Used app to check in. Viewed all test results prior to physical. Dr. Amara is the best..he explains everything very completely. Highly recommend.

My experience with this physician serves has been very helpful in helping me to understand my overall health and specific issues. The entire office including the lab technicians, nurses and reception have always been courteous and efficient. The physician has always been willing to take additional time if necessary to explain anything that I did not quite understand. In my experience this has not always been the case when visiting a physician. I do recommend this physicians office and staff.

My mom has been a patient of Dr. Amara for a little over a year. It has been obvious over the year and with COVID isolation my moms health has declined drastically. Along with my mom we visited doctor Amara and he saw first hand her decline. Since that visit her memory has become worse and was diagnosed with Lewdys Body Dementia by her neurologist. Since that diagnosis almost a month ago, it has gotten worse and a neuropsychologist has deemed her unfit to make medical, financial and all other decisions. Even with that letter Amara (and probably if needed a call to that doctor) will not help us as her primary physician complete a letter to enact her durable POA (which states a primary care).Hell he hasn’t even said I want to see your mom. He said through his medical assistant; it’s complicated and the legal ramifications are to much for him.It is at this moment I realized he does not have her best interest in mind. He has bound our hands to make sure we can obtain the funds needed to ensure her care. Just has a note; she has nothing. We have nothing to gain from my mom; no assets or pension, only fixed government income.So if your looking for a doctor who cares, think again.

Great Doctors and Staff !! I have been with this group of Doctors for 20 years now. Very Knowledgeable and caring. Dr. Amara takes time to listen to the problems I am having and finding a solution. I trust this group with the care of all my family.

I rarely give ratings publicly to businesses or people, let alone a physician. Dr. Amara deserves one though. He is simply the most caring physician you could encounter. I have been seeing him for a few years now. He listens, listens and cares. For any ailment, he gives you multiple options and recommends the most non-invasive, traditional, cost-effective and long-term outcome oriented intervention. I had an appointment with Dr. Amara at 4:30 but only arrived at 4:50 to the new location. Staff was friendly and cordial even though they were finishing up their shift. I can only give Dr. Amara a 10+ as he is not only a well informed physician he actually listens to patients and gives options for treatment. Most Doctors will only give you 10 minutes of their time only to rush off to the next patient. They are in fact practicing medicine on you.Here is a MD who cares!!

My husband G M has been a patient of Dr. Amara for several years. He and his staff are always friendly and professional. He asks you for information in a way that draws out what he needs to treat your problem, He never interrupts your answer, gives it some thought, then asks more questions until he is satisfied he understands. He is very kind and compassionate. He always gives us good advice on precautions that we need to take to ensure a good outcome.Last year my husband had a problem with his left arm being numb. He saw two specialists that could not pinpoint the problem other than being a pinched nerve? Dr. Amara listened to what his symptoms were, then asked, did either of them recommend an MRI? He informed us that he thought it was a ruptured disc in his neck. The MRI results validated herniated disc pushing on the spinal cord. Had a successful Discectomy and fusion of C4/C5 and C5/C6. Dr. Amara is the BEST! Im one of those patients who likes to understand the cause for certain feelings or ailments. Many doctors dont care to take the time to explain the facts, they just offer a pill to fix the problem. Dr. Amara is a very skilled and empathetic doctor who does his best to give all his patients good medical advice no matter the circumstances. He always makes recommendations for medications based on what is best for you, but he will always give you more affordable alternatives if your insurance doesnt cover it. It’s very hard to get a reply back after your visits. FO don’t understands the meaning of urgent appointment. I called 5 times and got same answer - awaiting for doctors reply.DR Amara told nurse to give next available appointment. Can someone please explain them the meaning of urgent appointment. Earlier FO was Willing to given next day appointment but after I told her about professional behavior/customer service she told me she don’t have appointment for 2 days. I Am CHANGING to some other doctor.
