Front desk employees are very friendly and supportive and guide with paperwork very patiently. I suggest all to visit their team for your wellness and care. Totally trust the genuinely honest doctors who are really very kind and very true and ethical in their work and treat the patients with extreme love and care and the much needed attention.

I recently had my first visit with Dr. Babita John and it was a delight. She immediately made me feel very comfortable . I am very happy to have found a primary care physician that I feel I can trust and connect with.

Very Disappointed. My wife went to Dr. Latha Y for annual physical based on friends referral. After receiving lab results no one from clinic called up to discuss about it. However when my wife called to check asked to come down for follow-up . Looks like She is not even review the lab results before second meet. And order couple more tests. She is not friendly and not showing hospitality towards patient concerns. . In addition to that staff is also rude. Definitely have to look for new PCP again next year.

I have stepped on glass piece and struck inside my foot. It was there in my foot and caused paining for 3 weeks. I went to ER and Orthopedics. They just said its a minor issue and didnt take it out. I couldnt tolerate the pain. Finally I came to know Dr.Venkat and he relieved me from that. He patiently and cautiously took it out. Now im feeling better. Thank you so much to Dr.Venkat for taking care of the problem. Also thanks to the medical assistant Kazi Akter. She is so kind and did the dressing for my wound without pain. All the staffs are so caring!

I had a very upsetting and disappointing experience with Southern Medical Associates. After the first visit they made an unnecessary follow-up appointment in three days that can be easily managed through one simple phone call. I made a payment through self pay but these people sent a bill to my insurance company without my consent. They got money from me (through self pay) money from the insurance, so instead of getting payed $150 they took about $400 from everywhere. When I tried to ask them about this, the staff was very unprofessional and the doctor did not want to even come outside and talk. They promised they would refund some of the money but they never did it. This place has no value for peoples life, it is just a business for them. I would never refer this place to anyone.

Delayed experience. Everyone is knowledgeable, friendly and super busy. However, you must get your act together in terms of appointment times. Every time i went there is a delay of 90 min to 2 hours which is completely unacceptable.I understand that doctors could be busy but so are we in our own way. Unless long waiting times are fixed or given proper appointment times, i am not going back here

RUN AWAY !!!!!!!! Don’t use themAs all reviews detail - front desk is horrible. Let me share my experience.I had my surgery of Aug 3 out of state at SFO. My surgeon prescribed pain meds and with pain meds rule of the law says the general physician should prescribe them if out of state.My wife called southern medical on Wednesday morning informing they would have received a fax from my surgeon to prescribe pain meds and she detailed the surgery I went through to them. No response during the day , again followed up in the evening and requested and pleaded them to look into. They conveniently denied getting any fax.Next day we had the surgeon resend the fax and email. I was running out of pain meds and if I don’t take them the pain was horrible at night , probably too an extent I had to call 911. We kept following up with front desk every one hour requesting them to send the prescription to pharmacy.Since I had no medication left , finally when I called them at 3 pm I had to yell at the front desk for being so inconsiderate. Each time I called we explained the whole story and they pretend as if they were hearing for the first time.Finally they said for the pain meds prescribed I have to make virtual appointment , why couldn’t they say that earlier? Also they said they don’t have any appointment for that day.Eventually, I told them they were indeed most horrible front desk and hung up is when the doctor Latha called me. Though she prescribed the meds she informed she can’t me any more because I yelled at the staff. My doc is Dr Sri for whom I have high regards(unfortunately out of office that day) but it is so sad doctors take a biased opinion based on what staff says. Also Dr latha asked me to go to urgent care .. REALLY???? You are my primary , I gave advance notice and I just needed prescription filled ..WHY would I waste money on urgent care and remember I am on crutches after KNEE surgery.This facility doesn’t seem to have ANY empathy to patients, they simply don’t care.Even earlier instances when my blood reports come the front desk would call and inform me that your report looks bad and doctor wants to see you . Is that something you would tell a patient on phone call? My wife would be crying and anxious to know what would be in the reports.I never try to go conflicting route but I thought I had to leave this negative review to 1) let new patients decide what’s right for them and help them 2) inform the doctors to make their front desk more efficient, useful to handle such situations.

Dr Sri has been my PCP for 2 yrs now but not anymore. He is very friendly but I see a con side of him. he only focuses on getting us tested for multiple stuff to find something on the border so he can prescribe unwanted medication. Almost everytime his tests give a surprise. He adds these expensive tests during annual physicals to make a free ritual costlyHe never focuses on your complains or original issue. He shrugs them off and suggests we go back to him after 3 months (Needs our money $$$$). He doesnt give medication to treat the issue but rather gives you only Vitamin D, & Diabetic medications.For a friendly person that he is, he should focus on listening to patients and addressing their concerns than looking for dollars. Shame!!!

I have been here a several times. The doctors and nurses and friendly. No doubt in the treatment. But, theres always a delay of at least an hour to talk to the doctor. Sometimes they forget that we have been waiting inside for an hour. We all have works. We book an appointment so that we dont have to miss work or visit doctor when are free enough, not to be waiting for an extra hour. This is unprofessional. A bit of delay happens here and there. But, it happens every other time I visit them. If they are not available may be that time frame should not show up while we book an appointment. Its unprofessional when it comes to appointments.

Been here for several years , I am really happy with the doctors and staff here , very personalize , friendly , care about you , excellent follow up . I will never change this doctors :)

Our entire family goes to Southern Medical associates Frisco and trusts them with your health and wellness. I see Dr venkat and found him to be the most compassionate health care provider I have met so far. Dr Venkat is highly knowledgeable and his calm reassuring personality will help you beat any health challenges you have with confidence, knowing he is on your side.

Even with appointments you have to wait for 30min - 1hr. Very bad scheduling. This happened to me multiple times.

Love them! They’re always able to fit me in if have an urgent need, the staff is kind, the providers are thorough and compassionate. I’ve referred friends and family to them and they’ve all been happy with the care they’ve received.

Both Dr. Yedlapallis and their Nurse Practitioner Mina are very friendly and professional. Every time I get sick, I can get a same day appointment as one or even two of them are always available even on Saturdays. For my yearly physical check ups and at every appointment they are very detailed. Its very important to establish a trust with your providers and these providers have made it very easy for me to trust them with my health. I highly recommend this group to everyone who is looking for a new provider.The entire staff are very caring.

I recently moved to Frisco and was nervous about how my experience with a new provider would be. Dr. Yedlapalli, nurse practitioner Mina, and other staff really impressed me. I highly recommend this office for any medical need. Providers and staff are super nice and really care about your needs.

As a physician, I am very particular about who I take my family to see. I am so grateful to find Dr. Venkat as a pcp for my Dad. Dr. Venkat is kind, thorough, and very easy to communicate with. He was able to diagnose my father with a rarely seen infection, ordered the appropriate tests, and his followup was above and beyond what I could have expected. Thank you Dr. Venkat!!

Booked an appointment for 1 pm.Got a text saying be there by 1pm. Got there 15 mins earlyThey let this lady cut ahead of meI sat in the waiting lobby for 30 mins then told my appointment was rescheduled for 1:45 pm.Get your act together. Never going back here, not the best place to find quality doctors or service

Worst experience ever. Went for my annual checkup which was supposed to be a preventive visit but they charged me for an urgent visit without my consent. Later my insurance covered some part of it but they would never return my refund. They keep telling stories about the delay at the billing department but when I call the billing dept they havent even received the request from these pathetic people. Its been more than 3 months now and still waiting for my refund. Wish there was a way to dispute these charges and complain it to the medical council about all this inconveniences and the time they have wasted of mine.

Great Experience, I wish all the doctors and clinics work the way Southern Medical Associates do. Always responsive and willing to help.The doctors office is in a great area of town where parking is conveniently located so close to the office.It has always been easy to schedule an appointment, the front office staff is efficient and friendly and the staff that handles patient triage is completely hospitable and welcoming.My experience is with Dr Venkat & Dr Latha for appointments related to my elderly father. Being a patient for the past several years and with every visit, it always felt that they didnt look at the patient as just a list of medical problems and medications. Both doctors have incredible knowledge who always tried to understand what the patient was feeling and experiencing physically and emotionally, and always empathized and understood our needs as a whole person. The doctors confidence gave me confidence in proceeding with treatments for my father. Both doctors are strong advocates for their patients and have gone an extra mile for the patients well-being.

I have been a patient of Doctor Latha and Doctor Venkat since the last 6 years and I highly recommend them for many reasons such as their professionalism, quick and very accurate diagnosis, their office location, their staff to name a few. It is wonderful when doctors view their jobs as a service to humanity and Doctor Latha and Doctor Venkat truly believe in this and I have experienced it in every visit.

I am a patient of Dr Venkat and Dr Latha for many years. I am fully satisfied with the way of diagnosis and treatment offered. I am over 75 years old. The treatment is very precise and the result is fruitful and beneficial. Dr Venkat and Dr Latha are great assets to the medical field.

My experience was not good at all. The doctor did not examine me like any other physician would do. It was very superficial and i felt cheated because i have been waiting to be seen by a good doc (she had 4 stars on an other doctors website). I have never seen a doctor like this. I am writing this review only to benefit others who have a choice. And for the doc and her staff to improve on their services. We pay for their service. it is not free. And i want the doc to think that she is taking money so she needs to give her 100% to her patients. Time management of the staff/doctor is sub standard. Wait time is long and dont expect your lab results to be mailed or even be told about it over phone. Be prepared to call multiple times to get you lab results online or otherwise. Had a really bad experience. Actually 0 or - stars for this doctor/business

Their front office staff is very bad and billing is worst, I went for my physical they made me pay in full despite the fact that it was covered by my insurance. they literally said we will refund you back if insurance pays, guess what my insurance paid them and now I have to call their office multiple times to get my refund back, they say they have to talk to billing and get back to me & bla bla bla.... and no call backs. After months with my reminder call they finally says my check is ready for pick up and they cant mail it to my home like they have not already caused enough inconveniences....since I had this incident they did not even call and gave me when test results were ready and I have call them multiple times to send my prescriptions to pharmacy...worst customer service ever...I liked the Doc and medical staff..might need to find new one. I really wished I could give 0 or negative stars.

If I could give any negative stars, I could feel better. No need to explain why, please ask me why not... from Docoor to nurse to recetionist...from time magement to the materials they use, everything can be pinpointed...Guess yourself why would people want to give negative stars.
