I’ve been seeing Steven Scott for over 10 years and he has helped me through some of the toughest moments in my life and has always been there when I needed him. He doesn’t treat you like you’re just another client, you can tell he truly cares. I highly suggest you see him even if you don’t think you need it necessarily because you have no idea how helpful it is to be able to open up to someone without any fear of judgment. I would give more than 5 stars if possible.

This office is absolutely amazing! I don’t know where I would be without the quality care I have received. I have seen Holly Lockett for over 11 years now. She is definitely the best of the best. Holly is compassionate, patient, and is always accessible when I need help. She was able to relate to me as a teen and has continued to help me develop the skills and tools I need into adulthood. I 110% recommend Holly and Frisco Counseling and Wellness to anyone!

I found myself in crises and asked a doctor for a recommendation-a personal recommendation and not the list of providers that they print for you which the insurance company provides. He gave me the name of Dr. Steve Scott and his group at Frisco Counseling and Wellness and told me that he would send his family members ~here~.Dr. Scott and his entire staff are the most gracious and helpful people I could ever have hoped to encounter at this terrible crossroads in my life. Warm, accepting, thoughtful, going to visit with my counselor is like spending time with a wise brother or family friend.Time has passed and it seems as though that difficult period never happened. The methods used have been so successful, so soothing that it’s simply a helpful memory.I highly recommend Frisco Counseling and Wellness to anyone dealing with simple life decisions, a wellness checkup, marriage and family counseling, critical crossroads issues or needing serious mental health diagnosis. Help is available and they’re here for you.

My son has worked with Holly since pre K, and he is now in 7th grade. Holly has helped him get through many things dealing with his anxiety and all his diagnosis. She has also helped us as a family to navigate these challenges with our son.I love the fact that as he gets older he has Holly to talk to when it is something he might not want to talk to mom and dad about. 😀. Cannot say enough about the faith and trust we have with Holly! The rapport that she has with our son is amazing!

Asking for help is never easy, but it is a crucial first step to wellness. I am so grateful to Holly for helping me through an epic laundry list of challenges. Global pandemic, caregiving elderly parents, difficult family dynamics, grief, deep grief, any of these on their own is enough to seek help. I have been able to cope, find moments of peace and joy and keep a healthy perspective with Hollys help. Taking care of my mental health is an essential part of my self care plan.

Holly Lockett is an excellent therapist. She is knowledgeable, intuitive, and compassionate. She has a wide selection of therapeutic tools making her effective at what she does best. Our daughter had trauma issues that were handled with the utmost care and tools/techniques were always shared with us to be used at home. I highly recommend Holly.

Im not one for marriage counseling at all, but this place is amazing. Kimberly K. Johnston cuts out all the fluff and keeps it real. Definitely not a waste of your time or money. She is looking to help and solve problems. I am more upset that I waited so long.

I called my insurance for a good counselor as I have terminal cancer which I’m dealing w and major money issues that stress me out etc . I just need someone to vent to when I feel down. The office told me I couldnt use my insurance even though they are listed. They told me the fees are 150-225 an hr, so I asked if they had a sliding scale and one dr accepted me.I was really excited to have found a new therapist until the day before when they said I forgot to sign the payment paper saying I would have to pay 150-225. I told the girl we were doing a sliding scale, and I wouldn’t sign that unless it had our agreed amount. She said she’d talk to someone and get back to me . She never did ,so I left a voice Mail saying if it can’t be my price I’m canceling. Mind you my appt was the next day. I called today and said no one called me back, and she said fine you don’t have to sign the paper, but we need your cc on file and we bill you the day before. I said forget it . I was excited to have a therapist in Texas but I have never ever heard of a counselor making you prepay! aren’t they in a professional to help you? it should not be so about the money . It was a turn off and they started out so nice . Oh well . Fla counselors are way more professional and caring .
