I have had chiropractic care on and off for many years due to a bulging disc. When we moved to Dallas recently, I knew just what I wanted in a chiropractor. I knew I wanted someone who would listen carefully to my needs, thoroughly explain a treatment plan, and have the end of treatment in mind (with a willingness to do maintenance as needed). Dr. Stanton exceeded my expectations. If you are considering chiropractic care, look no further. I am so pleased with the treatment Ive received, I will soon be taking my 12 year old son (who plays football and has all the related aches and pains). I also feel its important to mention the office staff. They are incredible. They know every patient by name, are incredibly friendly and attentive, and put everyone who walks through the door at ease. Its a fantastic practice all around.

Many Chiropractic places make you feel like a number as they push as many people through as they can. I feel like Dr. Stanton does his best to make sure he addresses your issues and gives you good feedback and understanding of how to address and fix your problems. I love Jen and Bryan! Jen has the sweetest heart and the best customer service. Bryan is very personal and helpful. His magic hands will release your pain! You get a wax hand dip every time you go in. Coffee, water and snack all provided. Jen thinks of everything. I wish their hours are more flexible for people who works regular business hours, but I cant take a star away on their ratings because of that. They are just great.

I really feel like my daughter and I got the VIP treatment here. From start to finish everything was explained in great detail and they were very professional and friendly. Dr. Stanton and his wife have a great sense of humor as well which made the appointment even more enjoyable. So glad I found them for my chiropractic needs! His wife Jancey (sp) is an esthetician also so I’m sure I will be seeing her for eyelashes or a facial as well. Hands down best experience and I will be coming back! This year I experience for the first time the pain of having your sciatica nerve in your lower back flair up. At that time, I was not under any Dr. care and struggled with the pain.Then one day on my way to work, I saw Twisted Spine and Joint Center. That was truly the best fine ever. I walked into Twisted Spine and Joint just under 2 years ago and I am so glad that I did. I am a runner and all that pounding on my back and joints was getting to me. I searched near me on Yelp and Google and found Twisted Spine and Joint and started reading the reviews. I couldnt believe how consistent they were in their love for this place. I started treatment and noticed positive results. They tweaked my therapy treatment and then my recovery progressed tremendously. Within a month i was back to running over 5 miles. Bryan (chiropractor/owner) is so knowledgeable about his field and goes above and beyond to treat his patients. Now on to my favorite part about coming here... JANCY (boss-lady)!!! She is the most warm and welcoming person i think i have ever met. There is never a dull moment when she is around. She makes everyone laugh and has a way to make your day better and brighter.. She is just a pocketful of sunshine! Together they make a great team and i am so grateful to have found them and i know you will be too!

Dr. Stanton really does AMAZING work. Having never visited a chiropractor before, I was uncertain of what to expect. He made sure he thoroughly explained everything - from what was wrong, to treatment options, and expectations of whats to come. I started visiting Dr. Stanton since 8 months ago. I had back pain problem for years and had tried several doctors before my friend referred him to me. After I completed a whole cycle of Dr. Stanton treatments, my back pain is gone. I can stand longer in the day time without worry the morning pain in the next day. Dr. Bryan is awesome! I was barely able to walk into the office and he went right to work on me. Although he doesnt know magic, nor can he wiggle his nose but he did an awesome job on relieving the pain I had and I was able to walk out of the clinic. He has great bedside manners and his wife, who also works in the clinic, has a beautiful spirit and is so helpful.

I dont usually write to many reviews but I was compelled based on my experience. I have only been going a few visits now but I was so impressed with the staff and the quality of care and customer service. The front desk was awesome soon as I entered they greeted me and asked if I wanted coffee, water or a breakfast bar, seriously way more than I expected from a doctors office. They saw me very quickly and did what I thought was a very complete exam, took some x-rays and showed me my problems. The doctor explained everything to me in plain English and quelled any concerned that I had. Treatment felt great and is effective as Im already starting to feel better. Will recommend!

Dr Bryan and Jancy are very professional, thorough and skilled. After my initial consultation I was very impressed with the facility, equipments and the conversations I had with them. 20 sessions later, I believe they helped me get rid of my pain and also re-conditioned my back to perform better. I also now have the knowledge to maintain and better my posture at home.

When I first visited Dr. Stanton, I had severe acute lower back pain and constant stiffness and pain in my neck. I could barely move. Years of injuries left untreated had gotten me to a point where I could no longer live the way I wanted. I couldnt play sports, couldnt consistently work out at the gym, and it was even getting in the way of lifting up my son. Im in my late 30s and a new father, and it was extremely important for me to get my active life back. After another incident of throwing out my back, a coworker of mine recommended Dr. Stanton at Twisted Spine.That was over a year ago now and I am completely out of pain! And I have mobility in my neck I havent had in probably 15 years. The pain started going away within a handful of treatments, and by about 3 months in it was gone. This was quite literally the best health-related decision I have made.As a new patient, Dr. Stanton wont simply adjust you and send you on your way. He is very thorough. Hell take an X-ray to see exactly where the problem areas are and put together a customized treatment plan that will get you out of your pain and moving again. His treatments are very affordable--he is beyond fair and gives the full slate of treatments for the cost of a copay. Youll get a rolling massage table with ice treatment, electric stimulation with heat treatment, a full adjustment, some muscle massage treatment, and biofreeze. His wife Jancy runs the office and is amazing. Shell insist on a complementary paraffin treatment for your hands, as well as water and snacks.Twisted Spine is the real deal. They are genuinely helping people get healthy and a pleasure to spend time with. I cant recommend them enough!

This chiropractor clinic is one of a kind! Dr Bryan is excellent, honest, actually cares about your health. Ive been treating for a month and not only does he adjust you but advices you on what you might be doing in your daily routine that might be causing back pain to increase! I have seen a major difference in my every day life routine and acting on drs advice has changed my life for the best. And Jancy - shes just an absolute sweetheart! I cant begin to sing the centers praises enough. They have been a huge blessing to my daughter, who suffers from a painful back due to a cheer injury. The office is so organized and clean and they accommodate her every need. I have already recommended this center to several of my fellow cheer moms.

I have been in the care of a Chiropractor for many years and this is by far the BEST practice I have ever been to. Dr. Stanton and his wife Jancy are extremely professional while making you feel completely comfortable and relaxed. Dr. Stanton his very knowledge on all things spine and joint related and explains all procedures thoroughly. While I do have a partially ruptured disc that has been a challenge for several years, through decompression, regular adjustments and completing the stretches prescribe by Dr. Stanton regularly, I feel better than I have in years!If you are new to Chiropractic, this is definately the place for you!

Not enough great things to say about Jancy and Brian! I have been going to chiropractors my entire life and have to say they have been the best! Once I finally convinced my wife to get her back looked checked out, I am so happy she went to Brian. He completely changed the way she feels about a chiropractor and goes on a regular basis to maintain everything he fixed! Also, Jancy is awesome! It is like walking into a friends house every time you walk through the door. It is great to consider them our doctor, but also friends! When I came to see doctor Stanton in October of 2016 I was having 3-4 migraines a week for the past 5 years. I was taking migraine medicine all the time. One day my neck was hurting so my husband took me to urgent care and the doctor over there gave me a muscle relaxer which worked for couple days after that I was back to square one. At that point, my husband scheduled my appointment with Dr. Stanton. At the very first appointment, Dr. Stanton did an x-ray and spent 45 minutes explaining what was going on with my neck and how that can be causing the headaches. I started my treatment with him that very week, I had 20 sessions with him since the second appointment I have been migraine free. It is very hard to find great doctors these days especially who are reasonably priced and I am so glad that we found Dr. Stanton. There is never a wait time when you arrive at his office and his assistant ( his wife) Jnancy is the sweetest person you will ever meet. I dont think I can ever thank Dr. Stanton and Jnancy enough for what they have done for me, they have given me my life back. There were so many things that I avoided doing because of headaches but since my treatment, my life is at a much better place.Thank you

For me personally I was won over by Bryans down-to-earth approach and avoidance of trying to run me for more money. His whole goal is to get folks to the point where they dont have to keep coming back in for repeat visits (like so many other chiropractors do). WOW let me tell you my experience.....I fell in my garage off a latter and hurt my back where my doctor told me I should have back surgery, Well NO was my answer. So yesterday I was almost immobile and at about a 10 in pain!! I have been to chiropractors in the past and have never kept up with treatments because I never got a good feeling off of any of them.... Dr. Bryan Stanton is by far the most outstanding Chiropractor I have ever been to. My experience with him was so positive and really changed my life for the better. He took the time to educate me in so many ways on preventing and correcting my dibilitating neck pain. His care and concern is practically unmatched in todays world of professionals. I was so apprehensive about going a Chiropractor but Dr. Stanton made my fears disappear. They explained everything in detail and I never felt rushed. My neck had been bothering me for years from a couple of injuries in the past (stress too). Even after the first appointment I felt so much better. Now I know there is a solution to my discomfort. Yeah! I was referred by a good friend and I feel truly blessed our paths have crossed.

I was suffering from pain in upper back, I set up an appointment which was easy and way cheaper than other similar options, I was happy with the diagnosis. The Dr explained in a very detail manner as whats the problem is and how he can cure it. I underwent 24 session treatment. The pain I was suffering from was too bad that, at times I will wake up in the night due to pain. 7 - 8 session into the treatment I was feeling almost 90 % better. And now towards the end of the therapy i am already 100% fit. This clinical experience is very friendly and very relaxing,I will highly recommend Twisted Spine and Joint Center for your pain related issues.

I love this place I love Doctor Bryan and I love Mrs. Jency . Theyre wonderful . There is a lot to talk about these two wonderful people but every time I go there I feel like Im home with my parents thats how respectful nice and sweet they are . I love everything about this place.

I had extreme shoulder pain and could barely lift my arm. I went to different doctors and an orthopedic specialists who told me I had a partial tear in my rotator cuff after viewing my MRI. The ortho gave me a couple rounds of cortisone shots and when those didn’t work he told me I would need surgery. That seemed odd to me as I have a job in IT and sit at my desk all day. I don’t play sports that would have done that to my shoulder. I wanted one last opinion and went to see Brian and Jansy based on the reviews. Brian told me during the consultation that he could help get me back to normal as it was just a frozen shoulder. After about 3.5 months of him working on it, my shoulder was back to normal!! I can’t say thank you enough to Brian and Jansy! Not only have I resumed normal activity, I’ve started playing tennis and lifting weights to get in to shape :)

I got in a car accident and I was seeking a good chiropractor. After doing research I came across Twisted Spine and Joint in Plano, Tx. I dont write reviews often, but I felt that this is necessary. To say customer satisfaction was delivered would be an understatement, because I was more than just satisfied. From the moment I walked in the doors I was warmly greeted and introduced to Dr Stanton. The knowledge he supplied me with made it easy for me to understand what I could expect. I ended up going 3 days a week (I was pretty bad) for treatment. Evertime I actually looked forward to going. The hospitality was amazing, and that I would have to give credit to Jancey, Dr Stanton wife. (Prob the nicest person you will ever meet) Always, a smile on her face and always something to say never made it a dull moment.As for the therapy, I began feeling better just 3 weeks into treatment. And whenever I had a question, Dr Stanton had a very educated response. I trusted Dr Stanton and the information he was giving me. Never have I been so relaxed during the adjustment process. In the past I would be terrified for any Chiropractor to touch my neck (in which where my injury occurred) , but the way Dr Stanton proceed with the adjustment made it relieving.After 12 weeks of treatment, I was feeling better!As an athlete, I am now able to workout, and do the stuff I was so used to doing. If you WANT/NEED the BEST chiropractor experience ever . . . DONT go anywhere else!Let me share with you my experience over the last year so you can better understand WHY I make such a BOLD statement. December 15, 2013 my children and I were on our way to a Pro basketball game we had won tickets to. We were so excited because we had never seen a pro game in person. As we sat at a red light all of a sudden we were struck from behind. A family rushing to a Christmas party slammed into us going over 60 mph causing major damage to our vehicle, injuring my children and myself. The impact was so hard it broke the back of my driver seat and therefore my seatbelt was not able to do its job. I was slammed back and forth like a sock full of beans.That day started a vicious cycle of chronic pain for me overall. Bulging discs and lumbar damage causes tension headaches, neck pain, lumbar swelling/pain, sciatica and pain/tingling/numbness in my legs and hands. Loss of mobility and endurance has also been one of my biggest complaints. Not being able to sit/stand/walk/lay down for normal periods of time is not only painful but frustrating. I have a child that has physical disabilities and who needs my physical help with life skills daily. These injuries not only left me mostly immobile but, has effected my entire family and household routine. Of course we went the route of insurance claims and an accident attorney however, we did not get the best medical attention we needed or deserved.Finally, almost a year later after seeing attorney appointed medical doctors who loaded me full of pain killers, anti-inflammatories and incompetent chiropractors, orthopedics who performed multiple lumbar epidural steroid injections, MRI/CT scans I had no relief and was told everything that could be done, had been done for me and now I needed surgery. NO WAY! I was not going through the pain, recovery and cost of surgery. So, I started my search for a new doctor as soon as my settlement came in from the car accident.I was referred to Twisted Spine by a co-worker and decided to make an appointment. I’m glad I DID!!! I initially was seen by another chiropractor (not Dr. Stanton) in their office and was impressed. The office staff (Jancy) was very professional, helpful and nice. The doctor and staff explained the procedures, treatment plans as well as cost. Finally, I had hope for pain relief and an action plan for improvement without surgery. Shortly after starting on my Twisted Spine plan, the original chiropractor who I was seeing left the practice. I was then asked to give Dr. Stanton a chance and I AM SO PLEASED THAT I DID! Dr. Stanton not only demonstrated the difference between treatment techniques but, he also made me feel he was more in tune with the care I needed. He is very knowledgeable and his form of adjustments/treatments have worked better than any chiropractor I’ve ever been to. I have been receiving a series of Spinal Decompressions, TENS, roller bed therapies and manual adjustments for a couple of months now. I have a long road ahead of me but, I will say I have seen more improvement (less pain/more mobility) in the last few months than I have in the 11 months of treatment prior to me coming to Twisted Spine. I have believed in and used chiropractors since my early 20’s and I’m now in my early 40’s. They are not all equal and not all as caring as Dr. Stanton and Jancy. At Twisted Spine they are very friendly, honest and compassionate. You will not find a better team.As soon as you walk in the office the atmosphere is welcoming and feels like family. Being offered coffee, tea, hot chocolate and cookies is just some of the added perks. As well as the paraffin hand treatments during the winter months makes you feel pampered.I will say again . . . Twisted Spine and Joint Center is a state-of-the-art facility run by a class-act husband and wife team--Bryan and Jancy. My first hand experience is their focus is on quality of care and hospitality. Ive never met two people as dedicated to their profession as they are to their patients--a winning combination in my book. Bryan and Jancy treat patients with respect and such good care out of genuine concern for their well being. They are real people (down to earth) treating real patients. Its been over two months now and I no longer have the tension and headaches I once had in the shoulder region and my overall situation is improving with every visit as Bryan continues to retrain my muscles to align properly so they can support my spine for the long haul. At this facility you are not just another number, as Bryan and Jancy go out of their way to ensure you are doing fine and make you feel like part of their family--The Twisted Spine and Joint Center Family.BACKGROUND: I had never been to a chiropractor before Twisted Spine and Joint Center (other than for an emergency visit when I pulled out my back and received an adjustment that eventually led me to seek help elsewhere after just two visits because I was less than comfortable with the fact that the Chiropractor did not take x-rays during his initial evaluation of me--all he could tell me was my hips were 1 out of alignment). WIth that said, I was pretty messed up and could hardly walk, so I had to find a Chiropractor who knew what he was talking about, could take x-rays before treating me, would evaluate/interpret my x-rays and who had state-of-the art equipment from which to work with. So I went online in search of a good chiropractor and came across Twisted Spine and Joint Center. I saw they had great reviews and thought Id give them a try since they were local to me. I am glad I did. Upon arriving at the facility, I was evaluated and x-rayed by Bryan who then reviewed my x-rays with me in a language I could understand (Go figure?). I appreciated his approach along with his thorough evaluation and explanation of my situation which reassured me that he knew what he was talking about. This gave me confidence since he talked about anatomy and the importance of retraining the muscles in and around the spine so that one could benefit in the long-term--No quick fixes in other words as long-term patient wellness is his goal. This led to his treatment plan for me which was specific to my needs which was, again, important to me. I want to take a quick minute to write a comprehensive review about Bryan, his wife Jancy, and Twisted Spine. I was very fortunate to happen upon Bryan while he worked at a previous office prior to opening his own business. I had a wakeboard accident that sent me into constant pain with my lower back. Being fairly young (29) I was suddenly weighed down by debilitating, constant pain. I tried a healthy dose of NSAIDS (non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs, i.e Aleve, etc) and unlike usual, I was unable to ease the pain with them. I knew I had done something quite a bit more serious than the usual muscle pull at this point. I was never too keen of Chiropractors prior to this. I figured they were more of the snake oil salesman type, rather than someone offering a valuable, effective service. Growing up in a family in the medical industry, I also knew I definitely did not want to get cortisone injections, or even look at possibility of going under the knife.Long story short I found a outfit in north Dallas that could see me that day. Bryan quickly diagnosed the problem was with my SI joint. My hips were almost an inch off. He presented a therapy plan to me, along with the cost. I was in between insurance with jobs, and financially I could not do his long term treatment plan at the time. He set me up on a TENS unit to ease the muscle flaring in my back for a quick fix, and amazingly on my ride home, I noticed immediate relief. When I woke up in the morning it had not returned, and was more of a dull ache. I was impressed to say the least, and decided as soon as I had insurance again, I would seek out Bryan to start, and complete his recommended therapy to get me back to 100%.Fast forward a year later - I had got wind that Bryan had opened his own business, and it happened to be very close to my residence in West Plano. I decided it was time to pay him a visit and complete the therapy for my lower back. He immediately remembered me, despite the fact that I had only seen him once a year before (and he even remembered my good buddy, that I had referred to him at the previous office Bryan was working at). We went through the motions, and he set up my therapy plan. I had new insurance this time around, but unfortunately I had to have that for a year before it would pay for any of my treatment. Not a problem - Bryan showed me the cost if I paid in full up front. I was expecting several thousands like the quote I had got a the office he previously worked at (he worked under other Chiropractors who set the prices at the previous clinic). Not the case. It was only a fraction of that, which is something he prides himself on. I happily paid, and off we went.Bryan has totally and completely got me back to my prior self. My back is competely back to normal, and pain free. It really is truly incredible, and once again that is coming from someone who was very skeptical of chiropractic medicine prior. Here is the bottom line. Bryan will not try to get you hooked so you have to keep going back. He is a genuinely great guy who wants to see you get better. Once you are better it is up to you if you want to come back for maintenance. He does not push you into it, and that speaks volumes to me. His only goal is to heal the cause of your problem. I can guarantee this is very rare in the field. He is not trying to run a cattle mill where he can just treat you and send you out the door. Bryan and his wife (Jancy who runs the front of the office) are some of the very best people you will ever meet, bar none. If you read nothing else of this review and skipped to the bottom, do yourself a favor and go see Bryan and Jancy. They are a rare thing in this world, people who pride themselves on their profession, and who GENUINELY want to see you completely healed. I can guarantee you will not find better, more professional, caring individuals, who will deliver what they promise, and will do so at a fraction of the cost of what competing outfits will quote you.
