Farnaz is an angel sent from above. Been here on multiple occasions and am never disappointed. There’s no place better in This area. You’re biggest regret in life will be passing up this miracle. I’m actually extremely upset that I haven’t found this place sooner. I’ll never go anywhere else again. Happy to say that my prayers have finally been answered after all the nightmares in the past. Farnaz did my hair cut last time , and she did an amazing job on my hair. She was sooo patient with me and spent plenty of time to cut my hair exactly as I wanted. I would highly recommend her because she is an real expert in hair cut and she knows what is she doing. Also the manager here , miss Hana was so helpfull and very flexible to make schedule for me. Ive been a customer at Matrix Cutz for many years. Like any kind of service you need to clearly communicate what you want. Ive had haircuts at times that were just okay, but some of that was on me for not really knowing what I wanted. After finding the right person and style its been good.

I’ve come here quite a few times now and Farhnaz is the best! She is very talented at cutting hair! I never leave disappointed; she does exactly what I ask for. Same goes for all my family members and everyone I’ve recommended to go see her. The prices are very reasonable too and this is definitely one of my favorite haircut places.

Hana is terrific and does a great job every week. She is so kind and a pleasure!

If zero stars were an option, that it what I would have chosen. I am writing this review because it is now one year later and my hair is STILL messed up from getting a horrible cut and color at this salon. After telling my stylist three times I did not want layers, they went ahead and added layers anyways— very poorly. The front of my hair was left jagged and uneven. If I pulled my hair forward, you could see holes in between the layers of hair where it was chopped unevenly. On top of this, I asked for my hair to be dyed slightly darker than my natural color. My natural color is a dark brown. They dyed my hair LEVEL ZERO BLACK. My hair was blue-black. With the terrible cut AND the color on top of it, I was extremely upset and frustrated.Again, it is now an entire year later and my hair has still not grown out the layers and is darker than I want, despite numerous attempts to fix this disaster.Please, save yourself a lot of tears and frustration and choose another salon.

Both my husband and I absolutely LOVE Hanna! He has curly, coarse hair and I have straight, fine hair and she is a master of cutting both. I have spent 3 times as much money at other salons and the quality doesnt even come close to Hanna. Normally I would say you get what you pay for, but Matrix Cutz is one of those rare places where you actually get high quality for a low price! We love Hanna so much that even after we moved away from McKinney we drive the 30 minutes it takes to go to her.

Maria is the worst haircutter in the world. I asked her to keep the length on my hair and she said okay, but she cut all of it off. I look bald. I asked her for a fade and she just cut the whole side off. Its a terrible place. Even Great Clips is better than this.

I am a 60 something distinguished gentleman who like to look neat all of the time. I have tried a number of barber shops or salons but always ended up disappointed. Then I discovered Matrix Cutz nearby the Texas Family Fitness Center on the southwest corner of Custor and Eldorado. My hair stylist is Tony and he is the best. Matrix Cutz has set prices but when they found out I was going to come every week, they made me a discounted offer. I dont have too much hair to cut anymore but it is always impeccably done. When people ask me why do I come to get a haircut every week, I say, I never want to look like I NEED a haircut and when I get my haircut by Tony at Matrix Cutz, I am 100% satisfied every time.

The worst experience of my life, the lady buchered my hair. terrible. i called for hannah because i heard she was good and reasonable, but she was booked until next week. i should have waited. the lady who cut my hair gave me a boy cut, i look like a man.
