Short wait time with appointment. Friendly staff. Clean office. Only patient is allowed inside waiting room. Covid-19 practices are a bit lax: temperature is checked after you have already been sitting in the waiting room. Social distancing is not enforced, as there is not a space between seats.

Very rude lady at the front desk. I was asking questions regarding my fathers paperwork and all she did was respond very rudely. Doctor Rainwater is very nice but his staff are not Friendly at all. Very bad experience with the staff members but not with the doctors.

Personnel of suite 101: why don’t they check people’s’ temperature before they allow them in?? Also, Dr. Rainwater does NOT wear a facemask, and neither do more than half of the staff. May I add, the front seat lady is the rudest! At the office suite 102, the problem is even worse! This facility and its members take ZERO precautions! I get anxiety with every visit due to the unbelievable lack of concern for the health and well-being of patients during these trying times. They allow all the people to wait next to one another, instead of instructing them to wait outside as there’s no room for them all to come in at once! 6ft rule? Completely out the window! They also don’t wear face masks, only the actual nurse does, but the front desk personnel do not! They do not care about their health nor yours. What kind of medical facility disregards these steps?! Unacceptable! Enough, I’m NOT catching covid, no thank you! I will also no longer accept this place as an option for my healthcare, I’m switching! Bye!

I only been there once and I loved it my husband is going to have telescope for his bladder tomorrow and I appreciate there Patience about my child he was crying I Was so embarrassed but Dr rainwater has big heart

The nurse practitioner was very knowledgeable and personable. Office staff helpful and polite. Only disappointment is family member has to wait 2 months for test and 3 month for office procedure.

I have been a patient of Valley Urology for over 10 years now and typically feel that I have been well taken care of, all things considered. But I definitely experienced many of the issues that have been expressed in past reviews. I visit the Valley Urology office almost monthly and have decided to write this review now, because earlier this year there was a big change at this office. The major change was that two of the doctors left, without giving any really notification to their patients, which definitely worried me. At first, it definitely seemed to be a little hectic, because a lot of patients of the doctors that left were very unhappy that they did not know what was going on, and I guess to make matters worse they had a lot of trouble getting through to try and see the doctors at their new office.I was worried that it could really make things bad at Valley Urology too... BUT it has been the opposite. They brought on another doctor and it appears to me that they have been addressing and improving things ever since. I think that Basically, all the past complaints from previous reviews are improving. I am seeing improvements every month and even the staff seems to be happier too. So I just wanted to share with everyone that reviews of the past years, Definitely Do no reflect how things are now at this office ... and I hope the doctors and his staff see this to let them know to keep up the good work.

First time here waiting over a hour to be seenAsk receptionist if dr is behind a hour my apt was 4:00 its 5:10 and they are rude saying they are always behind. Really.. over a hour.. wow.. Im seriously disappointed if I wasnt desperate I would walk out. I will be looking for someone else at this point this is morally wrong.

One star is being gracious. Dr doesn’t take time with his patients at all. Feels like you are just being rushed through. When my husband had his vasectomy it seemed like he was his test patient. Why does his dad have to tell him what to do? Shouldnt he know how to do a vasectomy? Regret continuing husbands care with him. Hopefully he did the vasectomy correctly. Be cautious.

I would give it 0 stars if I could!! Had an appointment at 1045. We arrived at 1030 and checked in. It’s already been 2 hours and still waiting. When I ask I get told “ we are surgeons” like that suppose to help at all. There’s no place to sit. They front desk is super rude and not helpful. If you can avoid his doctor then do it!! Find another urologist. They we’ll treat you right and you won’t have to wait for hours!!! Just right now someone that came an hour after us just got to see the doc and I’m still waiting. Like what the heck!!! Learn to do business and treat patients the right away! I don’t even know why they bother to schedule appointments if you aren’t seen hours later. I had to miss work and a final at school cause of all this waiting. Update: it’s 130pm and still waiting to be seen.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE, STAY FAR AWAY! I was referred out to this office by my regular physician and it has been a pain the entire process. After my first appt they referred me out to an imaging office 45 minutes away from their office; however, this process took two months to get authorization because their office could not fill out the forms correctly. When they were finally able to authorize their own referral, I drove to my appointment to find out that Rainwater’s office cancelled my appointment for me WITHOUT LETTING ME KNOW. I never received a phone call whatsoever! After attempting to call the office 15 times before they answered, I was finally able to speak to a woman at the front that was entirely rude and was basically calling me a liar about their office cancelling my appointment without notifying me, stating that “it don’t sound right”. That was followed by hanging up on me! Never have I had such an awful experience and I would NEVER recommend anybody to come to this office if you have a choice.

Horrible horrible horrible experience I don’t recommend no one to this doctor they don’t car about you and your health they only want money they don’t do what’s best for you he also allows his son to run the office who know nothing. In the middle of my procedure they switched with out my consent. When I was telling them about my issue they told me it was all in my head they also wanted me to wait forever and a day to get repaired they isn’t care about it affecting my life and was trying to tell me I had something to try toCover there mess. I can continue with how terrible they are and what a bad experience I had but I really just want you guys to know never go her I don’t not recommend this office at all

Highly recommend! Best urologist hands down. Great bedside manner,definitely caring and very informative. Staff was very polite and personable.

I was seen at Community Regional center in Fresno on July 27th with a 7 mm kidney stone. I was told that I would not be seen until October 12th. I had my doctor do a new referral and I had looked up DR Rainwater. I am indeed glad I did so. They took care of me a month quicker than Community would have, and this includes the referral process. Dr.Rainwater is very personable and a very nice person, and a very good doctor. I was treated with respect and care. His office staff is great, especially Veronica, who was instrumental in getting my referral accomplished, Many thanks to her. I would highly recommend Dr. Rainwater and his office. Next time I have a kidney stone I know where to go!

Cant get through on phone. Always busy. Held 3 times for 5 minutes each, today. Times I did get through, I was put on hold for over 5 minutes. Once in office the wait is unreasonable. We have jobs and life we need to get back to. Cant sit in Drs office half a day.

I had a horrible experience with Dr. Rainwater last week. I have been struggling with health issues for 18 months.I had been referred to him almost a year ago. I had an appointment in Dec. That his office called to reschedule. Then that appt in February was also rescheduled by his office. Finally I get to see him on Wednesday of last week.When I began to explain what has been happening with my health since Oct, he interrupted me and said I just came from a 2 hour surgery I dont have time for your long stories. He then proceeded to tell me that Im lucky to have him as my dr. And that with my insurance, I wont find another dr. Between here and Stockton.Not only do I feel discriminated against. He made me feel like I was less then him.As I was walking out I said after this conversation with you, I dont want you to touch me.He responded by saying I dont want to touch you anyway.So much for his oath ofDo No Harm

Horrible wait time once your able to get an appointment. Instead of calling the day before the office staff wait until you check in to notify you that their x-ray machine is down and will need to reschedule, this has happen to me like 3/4 times. Calling to get an appointment is next to impossible. Having to call 4 or 5 times before you get through to someone then having to wait ON HOLD for 30 MINUTES only to be told they can only schedule you an appointment for almost 2 months away. Dr doesnt even sit in the room and have a conversation with you. Your in the hallway asking questions and hes already walking with your file to schedule your surgery. Would not recommend as a Dr. The older ladies of the office staff have horrible customer service.

The staff here are horrible they really dont do there jobs at all and they are vary rude i hope this place gets shut down. im almost to the point that i might just contact the state medical board and get someone to replace the staff here

Waiting for more than 3 hours to see Dr. Rainwater and he was so rude and unprofessional. After asking me a few questions he decided to do a surgery without even asking me about my opinion. I see many other doctors and all of them respect my decisions and explain every thing about my medical status and never take any decisions without asking me but dr. Rainwatertoo mean and didnt respect his patients. I will never go over there again.

The dr is great However the wait is Horrible. He took care of my husband. Also their phone is always busy can never get through.

The office personal is very rude. He is extremely nice until he gets his money.
