The Nursing Assistant Training Academy is by far one of the BEST places to get your Certification for being a nursing assistant. The instructor Ms. Jodie is AMAZING. GET YOUR ASSIGNMENTS DONE, DO GOOD, AND BE ON TOP OF YOUR WORK and you won’t have any issues. This school will literally pass EVERYONE, you just have to turn in your work and get a C or higher. Do not listen to the negative reviews. See for yourself. Nothing comes easy, there will always be a challenge. Do not let that stop you from overcoming your obstacles.

After enrolling in this program, I would 100% recommend! The program prepped me for the state exam and I even passed on my first try. I had Connie as my instructor and she was awesome! She would make sure all her students were left with no unanswered questions. Overall, I would say if you are looking for a CNA program in Fresno, this is the one!

Graduated in September. Passed State Exam 2 weeks later and started working right away. All thanks to Nursing Assistant Training Academy. Connie, Jodi and Mercy, you all are the best!!!!!

I finished this program in august of 2017. The only good I have to say was about my instructor Ms. Lynne. She was great and was a compassionate nurse. The school is shady in it’s practices. The instructors were ending class hours early every day by having us sign out our names and leaving the time slots blank so the instructors could lie about the times students where being let out for the day. Never once did we ever complete a full day of instruction. Clinical hours were different and we were not let out early there. Once I graduated, I took the state exam and passed but I never received my license. I called the school only to find out they had not mailed my background check in so I had to go get it from them and do it myself. Even though I then mailed my background check in, the mix up caused me to never recieved the license I paid for and worked for. The school expected all the tuition upfront (I paid this) and I expected a professional experience and to recieve what I put in money and work for. It has been some years since this happened so maybe they have improved but this school was just about making money off students. If I were you, I would seriously consider other options for the people looking to become a CNA.

I went in to this program stressing a bit because of some of the reviews but DO NOT BE FOOLED! I am so glad that I got into this program. Not only did I learned the crucial steps of becoming a great CNA, I got to meet so many wonderful individuals who I can truly call them my friends. Ms. Jodie is such a wonderful instructor. She really helped me come out of my shell when performing skills. Just be ready to dedicate a good amount of time if you want to gain knowledge from this program. It is tough but so rewarding! Again, thank you to Ms. Jodie for being such a wonderful soul and teaching me with patience and kindness. Thank you to all the staff members for being so informative, nice, and welcoming!

I completed my 30day program let me tell you if you have kids and work and doing school you can do it ...if your not determined and really wanting it than dont do it ... it hard and the instructor is hard and strict ....but let me tell you ...she does it for the better for you so you can learn and learn the right way... I really am thankful for having a tough teacher because today I took my exam and I passed both of them it is nerve wrecking but I did it and the written test was super easy because of all the great teaching Jodi did made it so much easier to do and the skills so today now im a CNA !!! Thank you Jodi and thank you school yay !

UNFORTUNATELY my excitement for this class I signed up for and paid for came to a quick end ! I knew from Orientation, the Instructor Jodie was going to be a challenge, as she right off the back had a chip on her shoulder and displayed a power of authority trip character.A few students in orientation even talked between ourselves of how surprised they and I were with her approach on our first meet. Less than a week later it was proven by her lack of professionalism and confrontational attitude .Make sure to ask all questions ahead and be fully secure before handing over money .Thankfully the director gave me a full refund ,as I believe she wanted to avoid any further action i could have brought forth with a hostile instructor .Thats the only thing im thankful for ,but highly disappointed in the way it was handled by director and instructor .Who after the enabling and sitting there watching her instructor down talk me and pretty much try to egg on a confrontation, then wanted to change her tone and act as if she cared to have a conversation now that the instructor had walked back to her class and my money was in hand. There was nothing i cared to talk to her about being she should have intervened when the action was happening and found a solution ! The other staff was extremely nice though . Its a bummer for me as I really wanted to do this program being Im a current caregiver with plenty of experience and loved by all my patients. I rather have to pull out then to stay trapped with a instructor that seemed burnt out on her position and not care to help a future student succeed ,could be why she was constantly smoking outside her class lol...

Ok so starting off ms Jodie was SASSY AND SNAPPY. I literally thought I wasn’t gonna make it through school but I grew to love her, and in the end I realized she was hard on us because she wanted us to pass...which I did!!!! Passed my state test the first try and I couldn’t have done it without her. I swear you will not regret it.

I was skeptical in enrolling at first, but I just finished my training and it was well worth it! Monday-Friday for 30 days is a workload so for those who have jobs, be mindful of that but it is doable with the right time management. Ms. Mercy, Ms. Jodie, and Ms. Connie really do want you to succeed and they do their best to help you when you need the extra help. Pay attention, do you work and you WILL succeed. You get the training you need for the real work force and this place gives you that experience. I really enjoyed learning through them. They make it fun and are constantly encouraging you to do your best.

I highly recommend this school! I completed the 30 day program, and it flew by so fast! I feel very confident that I can work anywhere with the skills I’ve gained from this program. The instructors here are very friendly, educated, and professional. They care about you so much and want you to succeed. I was so nervous at the beginning of this program, but everyone is so welcoming and helps you with anything you need help with. Get your CNA certificate in 30 days! You will not regret it. This program is amazing! The instructors here are awesome and will help you become a great CNA. We did clinicals at this one rehab hospital, and I got hired on the spot on the last day of the program.

This place is a scam. They take your money and constantly are asking for more. I called several times to find out EVERY material I needed and they say you have it all but two weeks pass and they all of sudden need another 100 for things that weren’t listed. They threaten to drop students throughout the entire program. Even with perfect grades and skills tests if your teacher doesn’t like you then of well your dropped. Don’t waste your time or money on these people and go to a REAL school.

Amazing co-workers and great learning environment for students as well as employees. The owner is kind, humble, and professional. They go out of their way to work and improve the lives of people.

I went there and had Miss Whitefield which was an amazing teacher. Don’t waste time and get your cna certification within one month!!

Very good instructors! Mrs. Cooper was my teacher and she was so funny! She made learning fun! She was very strict with us during clinical but it helped us work harder! I miss my class! I learned alot and made lots of friends!

This was the worst school I have ever attended. Very unorganized! They give you one price then they keep telling you that you need other supplies so it becomes even more expensive. Then they have multiple classes going on all at the same time which both dont receive the same treatment. One class they scheduled their test date for them then the other they were on their own. My class had three different teachers for the one month program that all had different ways and yelled at the students for just doing what they were told by the other teacher, in front of residents at that. You never stay the entire class time like they have scheduled and they have you forge you or signature saying you did stay the hours. You cant park at the school because the other people in the building get upset. Theres no place to take a break either besides the parking lot. Waste of money when theres so many other programs that you can take for cheaper that will also treat you better.

The instructors are amazing patient and kind Ive learned so much this is the best place to be as for as schools. Had an amazing time learning and having fun with my classmates!

I want to apologize to the school, adaminstrators, instructiors and the training facilities for post yesterday in my wifes name, Meriam Hansen, She did not make the post I did. Iwas havinvbg a bad day, Its prpobly the dubmest thing tghat I have ever done. She is perfectly happy with the school, I hope my stupidity has not ruint her dream. She was not responsibled in any way and she didnt even know i did it. I hope the school will forgive me for my stupidity and let her finish her school with out taking it out on her. rthat is here dreamn dont take away from her for something for that I did
