I have just completed the Novice Nurse Home Health Training program that is one year long with Maxim Healthcare through the Fresno office. I made the switch because skilled nursing was not my niche. I was welcomed with open arms by Giovanni the recruiter and interviewed by him and others. I was supported all the way through the hiring and training process. I feel HEAVILY supported by every single staff member. I absolutely love my client and the family that I was paired with! I have been trained on so many new medical techniques and devices that I had either never been exposed to, or never heard of through my one year training and gained confidence in my skills throughout my time with Maxim. The support from my supervising RN is AMAZING!!! I know that I am working to protect both our licenses and she gives the best advice for how things should be completed when I am in unfamiliar territory. I appreciate the approach RN Eddings always takes with correction, it is always done kindly with a teaching heart. My initial plan was to obtain my one year in nursing and leave the company for the Prison Healthcare industry, I do not know how I will ever leave! I feel more supported and cared for than with any other company I have every worked for! When an employee is truly happy it makes you LOVE your job and want to do better and work harder and provide better care for our client!

I wanted to share my experience with Arthur TorresHe is the first male caregiver who’s come to my house and I wasn’t looking forward to it. Thank god I did because he’s been amazing with Mr.Komoto he’s gotten him to do things other caregivers haven’t been able to do. He’s so patient so caring he’s so friendly he’s on time and goes the extra mile for Mr.Komoto and that speaks volumes. Arthur is my homecare nurse, he is so patient, caring, well trained. He does housekeeping and takes care of my husband who has dementia and hes like having family here. Nursing Recruiters are top notch especially Wellness and Flu Clinic Recruiters. The clinics always were up to date with supplies and information for staff and the customer. The managers of the clinics never abandoned the nurses in the field and without fail were there as guides no matter what day or time. If a clinic lasted into the night Maxim clinic managers were there, if it was a holiday Maxim clinic managers were there, if a clinic started in the early morning hours they were there, if we needed more supplies they were there. In addition if nurses offered suggestions for improvement they listened and if changes were made they credited us. Maxim no longer directly manages these clinics and I have been working for another company. I can say hands down Maxim staff did it better in every way. I sure do miss the personable and caring approach of the support team at Maxim Health Care in Fresno, CA.
