After reading some of the negative comments I was a little apprehensive calling but after speaking to Heather she made my experience flow easy....When I say she went above and beyond the person I spoke to prior to make sure my situation got solved, she really did... The person prior was very patient Ill add in getting me the phone number she thought I needed but I needed a 16 digit code she knew nothing about I assume... In calling back Heather answered and got the job done in a timely fashion, thank you Heather and I hope you get a raise..

My wifes ResMed CPAP machine started making loud noises after nearly 3 years of service. I contacted the manufacturer, but learned that the warranty was only for two years. We left two messages for Kaiser in Fresno to address this, however, they never called us back. I contacted Apria in Fresno to ask about having the unit repaired. I was pleased to hear that even though the manufacturer only warrants the machine for two years, when you get it through Kaiser and Apria. It doubles the warranty to four years. A very nice lady by the name of Alex, told me to bring down the defective unit and they would promptly replace it with a brand-new unit. They did so and we are delighted. Very nice people. Like me, they take COVID precautions very, very seriously.

My 14 year old sons oncologist ordered 3 items (the doctors office had to send the resquest 4 times) it took 2 weeks for a wheelchair and here we are 7 weeks post-op and we never received the 2 other items. I had to go out and buy them myself. I called and they are absolutely no help. They recently left me a voice mail telling me that I was going to collections if I didnt pay my bill........ I wasted 36 minutes on the phone with them letting them know I never received a bill and to resend it.....uugghhh

I had a problem with my mask fitment, called to reorder a new one and the customer service agent I got was so nice and helpful. He knew right away what mask I was talking about by just describing it and he got it ordered for me right away. This gentleman was patient, kind, caring and worked out my issues perfectly! Great service! Give the man a raise, you can’t find people who work like this anymore!

Arrived for appt for supplies that we were told were ready. Now told nothing in system! She checked with her manager and there we were but they hadnt started getting the supplies together. Why give us an appt? Want to give 5 stars to RT Sonny. He was a great help.

It is difficult to talk to Apria people, I could never get in contact with them on their local number, had to call them through the companies (888) number. The girl I spoke to was pleasant, but when we finally had my Cpap info done, I was told there would be a $190 set up fee. Outragious!

Kind of a long wait on hold to order by phone. Once I got connected the service representative was friendly and helpful. I have received my equipment and have no complaint. I would give a 5 star rating except for the long wait on hold.

This is by far the worst company to deal with. They are the largest. Please spare yourself and go elsewhere. They are incompetent. They get orders wrong or don’t send them at all. Speaking with them is maddening and to no affect. Still without breathing supplies. I wish I could rate them on a negative scale.Read all the negative reviews and their response is always the same. Frankly they don’t care. I’d be embarrassed to say I work for them.I just received their reply. Guess what? I still don’t have the breathing supplies I’ve ordered twice. It has been over 8 weeks. Good try Apria- go to h_ll. Buy a vowel.Update: 09/29/20. We still have not received our order. No call from their “team”.Update: 04/28/21To this day have not heard anything back from them or have received our order. We changed services.05/29/21No response and no delivery of order. We went with someone else. They are the worse company I’ve ever dealt with.

I normally don’t like to give bad reviews, but it’s been a nightmare dealing with this company. I called to update my mailing address, they sent 1 package to correct address, other item to the wrong address. They said they would have the delivery driver pick it up and deliver it to me. One week later I still don’t have it. They told me someone will call me, no one has called me. I’ve called several times and it’s a long hold time. They charged me over $809, they gave me an invoice for $465. I’m trying to get reimbursed from my insurance, but they need an itemized exact dollar amount. They just sent me an Invoice showing I owe them $385 still. Looking at the other reviews it looks like this is a normal way of business for them. Hoping they’ll see these negative reviews, and change their business processes and procedures. I shouldn’t totally blame Apria for all the issues, Kaiser started this whole mess by sending wrong information. Kaiser blames Apria, but gives me different information each time I call.

Rude employees, unorganized, broke a wall socket next to my electric bed, now I have live electricity in my room and am unable use my bed without worrying if I will get electrocuted the tech was here i asked him to take pictures, and that i would like to speak to his supervisor he walked outside and she refused to speak with me. When I did get her on the phone, she laughed at me. Im a non-abulatory person with many ailments and Ive had orders continuously since September and didnt get one treatment because of them. The delivery men shown up whenever they choose especially if it is A-day of sports because I have had this happen to me so many times they always cancel the jobs and then were pick them backup when the games are over Ive had them dressed in game day gear as well as stand in front of my TV for almost an hour watching football or whatever is on tv I was astonished at such behavior especially with the amount of money they are getting by being contracted by huge hospital corporations you think they would represent themselves more professional and have a caring bedside manner very very sad and disappointed. I hope this helps someone else Beware!

My insurance signed a contract with apria but i just used the equipment for less than a week and they never answer my calls to set arrangements for return only sending letters charging me for somenthing my insurance paid so bad experience

I am on cpap. When I order equiptment at least one item every time is wrong. They wont accept returns and charge anyway. I was given oxygen for an illness and am done with it. I asked them to come and get the oxygen tanks on 9/17, it is 9/29, still no one came. It took 4 phone calls, dealing with crummy attitudes and talking to Mike in escalation mngmt. Its like this almost EVERY time I have to deal with Apria. They seem to send the bill with no problem but customer service is nonexistent. So rediculous. My health plan needs to use another vendor.

Im 57 and I have NEVER had a worse customer service experience. They continually blamed my doctors office for delays, when it is their own office that does not answer the phone and often does not return calls. I was being friendly, but persistent, and I actually had a manager call yelling at me! She would not even let me speak for quite some time. I never heard one apology from anyone, only excuses and blaming the doctor (who was in good contact with me always). I switched to another provider (Respicare, a Blue Shield provider, by the way) and they got done in 10 days what had not happened in over 6 weeks with them. I hope anyone reading this has other options...PS: I even emailed them at the address given in response to negative reviews here. More of the same. Dont bother, their response would have been laughable if I were not so frustrated. And the reviews at BBB are even worse than those posted here.

Apria Healthcare in Fresno is the BEST! I am 53 yrs old and use oxygen and oxygen equipment . Apria has been so kind and helpful since my first day there in 2014. Especially Heather and my rep Manuel. Heather is a excellent example of Aprias knowledgeable employees and has been such a blessing to my quality of life. When you call Apria they always thank you for being the best part of Apria. I believe the best part of Apria are the wonderful employees they have like Heather and Manuel. Thank you Apria!!

I have been waiting for months to get a walker that I desperately need to get around. My dr has sent in my prescription twice. I followed up to make sure they received it and was told a manager would call by the next business day and that was 3 months ago! The customer service person suggested I go elsewhere even though they are the only company on my insurance plan! She basically said I should pay out of pocket to get the walker sooner. I am ready to call the better business bureau.

Poor customer service. I called trying to set an appointment as I was sent an approval letter from my insurance that will cover the machine. Will I was put on hold for most of the phone call for them to just say oh you need to call ur dr office to send over the paperwork Im sorry but thats not my job.

If I could give them no stars I would. Had to talk to 3 different people over the phone. The first person tells me they are didnt have a phone number on file for me and since they couldnt call me they are charging me over $1100 for equipment rental that was converted to sale. Second person tells me they tried to call me to set up equipment pick up. I tell them thats funny because the last person I talked to just got my phone number because it was not in the file so how did you call me. Third person finally tells me I can drop off the equipment at one their locations and charges will be reversed. I go to location to drop off equipment and they open later than hours posted only to tell me the person I need to talk to is running late. Had to wait nearly 20 minutes for her to arrive. Meanwhile I am supposed to be heading to work. Thats why I arrived right when they open. Worst service and people who just seem to not care about their customers or their jobs.

This has been the worst service ever I took in a perscibtion for a wheel chair for my mother who broke her leg in three spots I placed order Jan 15 and its now Feb 18 and still have not got this taken care of after waiting this long I finally drove back to the local branch and talked to someone who stated that my mom primary insurance was not sent threw and that was the hold up so now that they resent it in we will be wating another 7 to 10 businesses days before we can get it my question is why did it take over a month with multiple phone calls and a trip down to the branch to figure out what the problem is. Also you need to get local people to take calls who can understand you and your can understand them.

Let me say first off that I was in customer service for nearly 20 years. Please read all of the following:No way to directly call the local office.They call me and leave a message; I call back and talk to someone in the Philippines and they take a message. Next day,local office calls and leaves a message. I call and get the Philippines and they take a message.Repeat process for a month; ad infinitum, ad nauseam.Finally talk with the manager when they got my order wrong, she apologized because she was the one who took my order. Promised to call back next day at a time that was convenient for me, never heard a word. 3 weeks later Im writing this review.I am returning the unused equipment soon. Im sure itll be faster than the 3 months it took to get it to me.I have too many problems with the company. Imagine if I had problems with the equipment and needed help.Maybe if you live in their town it may work for you, but it isnt for me.Steer clear at all cost

Worst company ever, my 6 year old broke his femur the hospital will not discharge without wheelchair. I have had to have hospital resend info, I have had to call insurance company for fax number because apria obviously doesnt even have the fax number and have been sending faxes to random places. So here we wait 9 days later still in the hospital waiting for a wheelchair. They have escalated the process to no avail. If you have a choice in companies avoid this horrible company. I just want to get my child home to heal

We have called and called they were supposed to be here between 7:30 pm and 8pm last night then tell us they will be her by 9pm again no show we kept my 80 year old grandmother with liver failure up til 9pm for them not to show and now today still keeping us waiting for them to come fix their equipment which they said worked the last time they came to fix it my grandma needs oxygen come on what if this was your family member I wish I could give you no stars its time to start making some calls to some people or news stations to get your attention and make you guys step up and draw some attention to your incompetency

Was told would take 7 to 10 business days to process an order for my sons wheel chair. On day 11 no one reached out to contact me. I call to check the status. Their customer support says they are not sure what the hold up is and will have a manager call with in 48 hours. Three days later no contact and I have to call again. I ask the for the status and he tells me hes sorry but no one has been working on the order. I canceled the order and closed the account. Horrible customer service. Will never do business with them again

Absolutely horrible!!! I ordered my equipment for 400 bucks and the charged it twice. They have my 800 dollars and they tell me I have to wait for processing for the refund. They have 3 levels of processing and the last person has up to 30 days to submit a refund. So they keep telling me there is nothing they can do because its in processing. After 2 months of them taking my money, they refund the over charge and then a month later send me a bill that I still owe. Even though they took forever to refund my money, that they took without my consent they still find a way to charge more. Screw them!!

This review only pertains to their phone representatives. I first initiated contact in the second week of june. Each phone call they needed something from my doctor, insurance, company approval or etc. You name it. They did not let me know during initial phone call what they would need so i can gather everything they need. Theydidnt contact me for a week in a half then when I called they said they cancelled my order for breast pump (all without my knowledge and approval). So, I reopened my claim since due date was coming. Whenever I needed an update 9/10 times I had to contact them. Mind you, being 9 months pregnant and still working I didnt have much free time. Then, we finally get everything settled with the order and organize the insurance coverage and even pay the rental fee (this whole month in a half I thought it was a purchase not a rental .They never told me). Anyway, rental fee wasnt much so I agreed. Paid today and got word it will be delivered today. Mind you, by now nearly 2 months have passed. Then, I get a call that my pump wont get delivered since its not covered by insurance which was completely contradictory to what I was told since the prescription from my doctor was sent in first place. Now Im 7 days aways from my due date having to look elsewhere because I did not like the stress of miscommunication. On one I did not get any rude reps however, I was not allowed to speak to a supervisor or manager during my last call. Which is fine so Ill just leave this review here. Hope you have a much more pleasant and brief experience than I.

The automated phone system is dysfunctional. It hangs up on you when you have answered the 5 preliminary questions BEFORE you speak to a human. I know that phone systems go down to be reasonable, but after 3 days of trying, it is unreliable. I gave it a 1 star because at least the automated system picked up.

Tried for 9 weeks to get a prescription for my 85 year old mom filled for a walker. She’s fallen 5 times in a year and her dr rushed an order for a walker. They lost the first prescription. Didn’t fill the 2nd one . Literally called 20 times in 9’weeks with no help and rude service. Only for them to tell me they had other people’s order s in front of my moms and we should take the order somewhere else. If I coukd do zero star star I would!
