Im a new patient of Dr. Mary Hill. I appreciate her caring mannerism, and thank her for motivating me to get back on track to a better way of life. I will think of her now, before I eat something I shouldnt. Her office staff is also very kind and so far its all good for me.πŸ‘

I have been a patient for over 20 years. She knows me because she treats her patients not their diseases. Sometimes the wait is long but it goes to show how invested she is. If you want complete, quality care, she is the best choice!!

I am a new patient. Dr. Hill genuinely cares and she takes time to listen. My previous doctor was retiring, so it took about six months to get an appointment with Dr. Hill but after we met, I understand why she is booked up. I recommend Dr. Hill.

My husband called to make an appointment for a basic physical and bloodwork at the end of January 2020, he was told he couldn’t get an appointment until the end of March. He is very understanding in general and was willing to wait patiently for that appointment, due to COVID-19 they reschedule to April...then again to May...then again to June...you can see where this is going. Finally, he gets his appointment rescheduled for July 31st and they turn it into a teleconference... he would have been willing to do a teleconference for months but was never notified that was ever an option. He finally had his appointment at the end of July but had to wait over an hour longer for the doctor to call him. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE. Let me put this into perspective for you, I see a different doctor, it took me 2 days to get an appointment for the same physical and bloodwork my husband waited over 6 months to get! If you like being the butt of a giant cosmic joke and don’t mind waiting in queue for months on end in purgatory limbo, this place is absolutely for you and you need look no further for a doctor.

Dr. HILL was my Physician for over 20 years I absolutely loved her but after several horrible experiences waiting in her office and rude staff I made the decision to walk away I have no regrets.

Dr Hill was my family doctor for years, and I wish we had been wiser to leave her practice sooner.1) She is incredibly disrespectful saying things like β€œdon’t you want to be skinny like all your friends”. - yes I have a weight problem, but having that be said at a young age is both damaging, and had a negative effect.2) she’s definitely a pill pusher. At one point my mother was on over 25 different medications prescribed by dr hill, with no regulation, which as I’m sure you can imagine, more problems than not. These are 2 examples, and I could give you more, but clearly this shows that this doctor is incompetent. Save your time and health and go somewhere else

This doctor sees her patients as dollar bill signs, not actual people with medical concerns. The last appointment I had, I waited 1hr & 45 minutes roughly to be placed in a back room where my vitals were taken then waited another 1hr & 20 minutes before Dr. Hill came in. The appointment was rushed. She wasnt even there with me for 15 minutes. Refered me to online applications and books she liked to help with my depression. Couldnt believe it. I dont reccommend her at all, plus her office staff are unorganized and dont follow up with patients.

Wait time 1.5 hrs to 2hrs. The last time I was in (9AM appt.), I disrobed and waited, in a chilly room for 1.5hrs. without being seen OR checked in on. I left; as I had my own patients to see. I am, presently, looking for a new doctor.

Its unfortunate that I have to write this negative review for Dr. Mary Hill and her office, as Ive been a patient for nearly 25-years. The service of both her staff (Amanda in billing) and Dr. Hill has significantly deteriorated over the years and more so especially the past 5-years. The office staff has high turnover and really have no patient care instincts. As for Dr. Hill, every visit... EVERY VISIT... she is running behind by at least 1 1/2 to 2 hours... EVERY VISIT. And when its your turn to visit with Dr. Hill she always seems rushed, because shes always so behind. My most recent visit I was waiting for over 2 hours and still hadnt been seen. Fed up with the wait, I asked the office staff how much longer it would be, they indicated at least another 45 minutes. I, too, have appointments with my clients and could no longer wait so I had to leave the office. I specifically asked the staff if I was going to be billed for my visit, they told me I would not, since I had not been seen by Dr. Hill. Well, low and behold, i was billed for the visit anyway. I tried for nearly 2 MONTHS to get this billing issue resolved but nobody ever called me back, as they were well aware of the nature of my call... then a collections bill arrives. YES, they ignored my calls, did not provide me answers and then turned my $20.00 co-pay to collections. When I finally got to speak with Amanda, who was incredibly rude, short and unhelpful, she told me there is nothing she can do about it because its been turned over to collections. She had notes in the system that showed I called, but nobody ever called to discuss. In our conversation Amanda had the audacity to scold me, that I should know that Dr. Hill is always running at least an 1 - 1 1/2 hours behind. And I agreed... that is the problem and the reason I left my office visit. When I noted I should send a bill to Dr. Hill for my time and have them pay the collection notice, her response was Thatll never happen, its your problem. Really?I noted to Amanda that I would be contacting my insurance provider to inform them that i was never seen by Dr. Hill on the noted billing date and asked Amanda for her last name so I could inform the insurance company with whom I spoke to at Dr. Hills office... Amanda refused. After nearly 25-years with Dr. Hill, I can no longer take the utter disregard and lack of respect for her patients, from both the staff and Dr. Hill herself. I noted to Amanda I would be changing doctors and would be writing a letter to Dr. Hill directly, as well as inform others of my experience at Dr. Hills office via social media. Amanda started to backpedal and said Dr. Hill is very efficient... I asked Amanda, How can Dr. Hill be efficient with her patients if you just warned me that she is always running at least an hour behind and everyone knows it? Her response: I meant shes efficient when shes in the room with her patients. Yeah... if youre willing to wait ages to see the doctor. In the end, Amanda would still not reveal her full name to me and told me to go ahead and do whatever I needed to do... knowing I would be writing this review and posting other social media comments, notifying my insurance and reaching out to the Fresno Bee health beat writer. Its such a shame that this is what our health providers have come to... were simply a number, no longer a patient. Dr. Hill will book 4-6 patients an hour well-knowing that she can only realistically see 2-3 and as Amanda notes: Its our (the patients) problem.Im sorry to do this to you Dr. Mary Hill, but this is the truth.S. Soza
