AFC Urgent Care is a life saver. My sister got us tickets to a Gabriel Iglesias (Fluffy) show that was scheduled on my Birthday in May 2020. Since Covid hit the show got postponed a couple of times and when he was finally able to do the show there were guidelines in place requiring proof of either the vaccine or a negative test within 72 hrs of the show. They were the only ones that I found with available appts for a rapid covid test within the guidelines so Thank You AFC for being so quick and efficient that I was able to enjoy my late birthday gift without a hitch. It was an awesome show! 😀

I really loved this urgent care very professional service was great I would give it a 10 star if I could . Nice , privacy was excellent and curious. Very fast service and we got to watch a movie while we were there. They didn’t take long and explained everything fast and sufficient.

My wife and I went to AFC Urgent care on West Shaw for our COVID travel test. The ladies behind the counter were extremely nice, welcoming and accommodating. Our test wasn’t until 1pm, but since my wife and I were early, they made allowances. We received our professional looking travel document and all is well.Thank you.

I called and they let me know that my insurance was accepted. I had called three other places and two didnt accept my insurance and one even told me they couldnt let me know until I showed up. Crazy right!I was at AFC a total of an hour and a half. Not bad for a walk in clinic. Everyone was pleasant and I will feel comfortable going back.

Had a great experience here. Took my son in. Was a relatively fast visit. Although, we were there right after they opened. By the time we left, the lobby was full. Staff was kind and professional. Thank you

Thank Goodness for this place my little boy was sick and had tested negative for Covid and strep but still everyone I called only wanted to do a phone appointment due to him having COVID symptoms which is understandable but I did have him tested and he was negative I’m not a fan of phone appointment how can you listen to someone’s lungs or check ears and throat 🤷🏽‍♀️ AFC was able to see my little guy everyone was super nice from the front office to the Dr I seen the compassion they have when a lady had came in with back pain and the girl in the front got up from her chair to give her back her insurance card so the lady didn’t have to get up that’s when I knew I was in the right place the nurse was excellent when she left the room my son said mom that lady was really caring and the Dr was Excellent he check out everything on my so. And made me feel comfortable with his decision thank you all I will be back when needed ❤️

If I can rate this place 10 stars I would! I came here after a friend recommended me to come, let me just say I was impressed by how I was treated in such a timely manner! I can’t remember the nurse name it started with a K!!! very very sweet let me talk and tell her everything and how I was feeling she took her time to evaluate me and actually listened to me… . Literally everyone that I talked to from the moment I came into these doors were very polite! Thank you again ❤️❤️❤️

Great place to get Covid test. Makes it easy.

Extremely unprofessional, rude, and untrustworthy.Had people waiting in a very big unorganized line in front of the old Walmart, people trying to shop at surrounding businesses were unable to leave due to the staff not telling people where the line started and ended, we’re not clear about payment information and had me park at the back of the building only to wait another half hour for someone with an ATTITUDE to come out and barley swab my nose. This place is bad news and I would strongly advise that people avoid this place at all cost.

It was easy to A rapid Covid test needed for traveling. Also they were able to identify that I needed a molecular test because that is the requirement of the airlines. I did not know that before the consulting of the doctor. I would recommend this place for easy and fast Covid testing requirements.

AFC Urgent Care hands down is a quality medical facility that gives that extra warm and friendly bed side manner that is hard to find. Super upset at this place! Took my 1 year old yesterday because shes not breathing right and very sick. I told them she possibly has a ear infection. They looked at her and said no shes fine just regular common cold. Well here i am today the next day at valley childrens she has ear infections in both ears and has upper infection in chest!! Im thinking about sueing!

PA Panh was great. He was thorough and helpful in my medical issue. I came in as a walk in and was greeted professionally. I was offered water during my wait and once called the process was fast and easy. I thank the PA and staff for helping me in a very needy time.

This is the best Urgent Care around. Everyone who works here is super nice and knows what theyre doing, they get you in and out relatively fast, AND they ACTUALLY LISTEN! I also have to say the staff here is better than the Clovis Community ER any day. They told us my sons problem wasnt anything major and not to come back and AFC told us to come back if we need to after helping him. Best customer service and just all around care. It really felt like they care about the patients. Ive never experienced that with an Urgent Care before yesterday. I recommend this place to everyone.

I made appointments for two of us and they only had one test ready (mine and they had my last name and birthday incorrect); I was fine with that. They asked me to park and wait. We ended up waiting for almost 2 hours and talked to three different people who had no idea what was going on (gave each one the name and birthday). There was no communication between employees and I ended up leaving. My son is sick and was there to get tested for COVID. I still havent been able to get him tested. They need better organization.

I was attended with good timing, ladies at the front desk were very nice and polite despite my ability to talk at the moment, the doctor who attended me was very nice as well very informative thank you doc for sending me to the emergency room giving me the attention help that I really needed I had a huge abcense in my throat where I had a mini procedure done thank you again But the lord will bless you more 🙏🏻

This place was great. Through a friend, prior to going, I was able to speak with an employee, Andrea. Although it was her day off, she answered all of my questions and eased my anxiety. Everything Andrea told me was spot on and I was in and out in less than hour. Great staff and thorough examination. Thank you Andrea. Highly recommended!

The personnel was very courteous, professional, and kind. The service was well prepared with the paperwork ready to go. The drive through was quick. The test was administered as gentle as possible, and the results were ready in a couple of hours. I would highly recommend AFC Urgent Care and will use their service again if needed.

I have gone here multiple times for COVID testing and the online registration is convenient. The testing is fast and you stay in your car while the Medical Assistant swabs you. Me and my children have been treated well here.

Staff was friendly and the wait after registration was fairly quick. BUT, the wait to see the Doctor/Physician in the exam room took an hour. I wasnt expecting a quick fix or a miracle on the spot...but an hour wait for the Doc? It was the closest urgent care to my house, but I think next time Ill drive the extra mile to the 2nd closest Urgent Care near me.

We had to trip planned during Covid to the US Virgin Islands. We had done our CV19 test for traveling through a provider recommended by the airlines 3 days before the trip. The day we were supposed to fly out, we still had not received the results and the company wouldnt tell me when we were going to receive them. In a panic, we reached out to AFC Urgent Care and they team working there told us to come right in and they would take care of it. They even looked up the rules for travel to the USVIs so that we could make sure we were taking the right test. They got us the tested and out the door with our negative test documentation within 30 min and we were able to make our trip. They saved the day! HIGHLY recommend this place and the kind and professional people that work there.

The PA who I saw was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. This facility is clean and efficient. My entire visit took 45 minutes. I highly recommend this urgent care!

Andrea was EXTREMELY helpful in an EMERGENCY situation!!! My husband needed a COVID test, and the results in an afternoon - and was coming from Bakersfield. We were planning to travel to Hawaii the next day, and there were no places in Bakersfield that could do the test and give us the results in one day. Fortunately, Andrea reassured us that AFC could. She helped with directions, the application, and was very helpful. We would not have been able to go to Hawaii had it not been for Andrea. She is the BEST!

This program is a mess! Cant upload a drivers license pic on my phone. Impossible to navigate online. They used my husbands middle name (misspelled) to get a copy of the results! We never even gave them his middle name. When he finally got tested, that was the only thing that went smoothly. If his employer wasnt paying for it here, we would have gone somewhere else.

Definitely won’t Recommend if u don’t have any insurance. They expensive $99 just for visit and plus extra for anything else they had to do to you. So keep in Mind DO NOT GO IN WITHOUT INSURANCE.Staff was nice and helpful. Great location Nice and clean Atmosphere.

Took a rapid covid test at home for my 10 year old son and came back positive then figured I should get it confirmed at AFC and got the pcr test and that came back negative. Okay I still quarantined him at home because he’s having all the symptoms. Now 5 days later I’m at the ER and his test is positive! Don’t know if they didn’t swab correctly or what but he’s been positive this whole time.

Our girls needed a COVID-19 test for Hawaii travel. The appointment time online is the heath screening call prior to the swab test. The swab is only given at 10am, 1pm, 4pm and 6pm. We got the phone call around 2:15 for the health screening. It was quick yet thorough, and paid at that time. We got there around 3:50pm to wait in line. The girls were swabbed at 4:15pm and the results were in the same day at 5:45pm. The only thing that was off (but was fixed as soon as I noticed it) the swab sample time was labeled for 2:15pm (original phone call) and not it’s correct time for 4:15pm (actual swab). But it was immediately fixed. That 72 hour window is crucial for flying during these sensitive times. Mahalo!

Check in process was quick and easy and they did their best to get everyones needs met. They did the COVID screening, were efficient and pleasant. Overall, it was a great experience and their front/back office staff were really nice and empathetic.

Front office was very nice but the doctor made me feel discriminated against she said mid conversation well I cant give you narcotics LIKE WHAT DID I ASK FOR THAT and yes I told her that shes all well I can go ve u a shot and some steroids for your nerve pain which i was fine with. I appreciate the extended hours. Front desk receptionist was professional- checked us in right away. MA can use some training in customer service and greeting skills, she wasnt friendly and we didnt feel welcomed. It made our visit uncomfortable. PA was polite, took his time, assess the need, with no recommendation for any treatment. We left there feeling like it was a waste of our time. We wont be coming back.

Overall experience was good, the staff were friendly and courteous, the facility was very clean! Slightly disappointed by the wait in the examine room to see the PA, then having to follow up with clinic the following day to get the prescription for antibiotics. With that said I would return in the further or recommend the use of this Urgent Care facility.

Extremely rude receptionist (Male) I’m not sure he’s name but he was absolutely unprofessional. And on top of that he made my dads nose bleed. He pocked too deep while doing COVID testing.

Originally went to concentra clinic and not to mention the worst customer service experience there I was there 7:30am till 10:30am for them to tell me it was going to be 3 more hours I was furious only for a work physical screening I decided to live waste of my time I google other clinics this one came up which I would of known before wasting my time with concentra took about 30 minutes and great staff thank you AFC clinic.

Appreciated the speed of making an appointment and get the PCR result back. Very unclear about how results would be shared. Instead of saying wait here, I drove 40 minutes to get home only to get a call that my letter was ready for pick up. So much for your electronic portal. I requested compensation for their mistake and having to drive another 2x 40 minutes to get there: they said they would look into it but did not. Total time of over 2.5 hours to get this done and over 1/3 tank of gas.

They didnt send over my perception even though the doctor was so adamant about me taking it. I had to call to get them to send it to the pharmacy and by time they sent it the pharmacy was closed. I went in in the morning. They had all day. I got out of the hospital that again the doctor was so adamant about me going to...hospital didnt do anything to help me...and they couldnt get it over at a decent hour.

Went to the Shaw clinic for a Covid test. They said they had slots open in an hour, but we had to drive home to register online on our home computer. At home, almost done with the registration process when we tried to choose the date, today’s date was not an option. So I called the clinic what was going on and they said my son was in their system from a previous test and we didn’t have to register online. WTH?We drove back and my son tested after a 30 minute wait in line.Poor customer service

The staff was very pleasant! They did a good job with our covid test. However, the price charged was totally OUTRAGEOUS! It cost $199 each! It used to be a free test ! Going on a trip soon and had to have a covid negative test. So now our trip cost an extra $400 !! What once was free is now $400 ! OUTRAGEOUS !

If youre going to ask for Peoples health insurance information then maybe you should verify that they are in network instead of just accepting anyone and telling everyone that they accept their insurance just to turn around and slap them with the bill a week later.Patient care was terrible. The PA with all of 2 years schooling, walked in cocky as could be did not order an X-ray or a rib x-ray which was needed come to find out, gave some generic answer for what the problem was and did nothing to really solve it. Why have an x-ray at your urgent Care if youre not going to staff and X-ray tech?Now that I got my bill for their hack job Ill go ahead and get my invoice together and Bill them for wasting my time!Should we really have to pay for mediocre care? If we have to go to another healthcare facility to seek adequate care should we not be credited? Maybe they should pay us?

It was a very efficient process to obtain a test. We had received phone calls to complete paperwork prior & confirm appointment. Results came back quickly. Everyone was very friendly.

First time here. My daughter had a uti and I went to the clinic I usually go to which is suppose to take walk ins until 7:00pm. I arrived at 6:15pm and the staff told me “the Dr’s reached their patient quota so they left for the day” 😳😳😳 I then googled Urgent Care and found AFC. They helped me right away and took my insurance! The staff was super nice and the place was very clean and updated. My daughter was taken care of and they even gave us water and candy! Definitely the spot to go to next time for my entire family! Thank you.

This is the nicest, quickest urgent care Ive been to here in Fresno. The staff is all very nice. Ive been here before, and they remembered my name. The care that I receive is individual, not rushed, and I felt like the doctor heard my concerns and addressed them. I highly recommend this urgent care for any non-emergency needs!

I’ve been to this place to get Covid tested three times. Every time the workers were professional and the process was timely. I live in Clovis, but I drive all the way across town because I prefer this clinic is hassle free.

It was mostly fine, though a bit confusing with setting up a telemedicine phone call (which actually involved nothing medical but was just a way of collecting payment up front) several hours before we got the covid test. Biggest problem is they misspelled my wifes name - even though I typed in the correct spelling and send them a photo of her drivers license - which complicates the Hawaii quarantine exemption process and could potentially result in rejection of the test result. That sort of sloppiness has real consequences.

Each time I have been here, the staff has been kind and helpful. Last visit was at end of day so expected impatience. Wrong. They were patient with me. MD was terrific, explaining all as he treated me.

This was a life saver! We needed Hawaii a pre travel Covid test and we wanted same day results. Even if it was $199 it was worth every Penny. The staff was professional and very efficient. Stella was very friendly as well as the girl who called us. We got our results in less than two hours. Highly recommend.

Drive thru travel covid testing was very quick and easy. Results took about 2 hours no issues. They answered all my questions and were pretty friendly. Only one star off because it was $199 :/ but it is what it is!

After filtering through CDC website for the particular vaccine I wanted to get, as Walgreens/CVS/RiteAid did not have J & J vaccine - found AFC Urgent Care on this list and called to confirm if they have Johnson & Johnson vaccine available. Not only did they confirm they have it available, but also checked expiration date as well. AFC usually takes appointments, but not for vaccines. Went in an hour later, filled out my info, and total wait time and shot administered - was less than an hour!Also....as extra precaution - went to Vegas for a convention and felt was best to get COVID tested at AFC. Was able to make appointment on line, and drove up to testing site at their parking lot that took less than 15 minute wait with 4 cars in front me. Got my results in an hour - virus free!

Initial wait time was short and staff are friendly! office is very clean and well maintained and appears to utilize newest inovations and technology available. exam rooms are spacious, well stocked. doctor was friendly, attentice and informative. he was young and somewhat in experienced wiith finding a ansewer for health concerns however made up for this with ability to communicate, colaberate, technoligoly resourceing skills and patient satisfaction centered approach to make up for anything lost from being new to the profession. Provider seemed to enjoy caring for patients needs and demostrated a caring and intuitive experience for the patient.
