I have bad dental anxiety, hate the idea of sittin Im the chair and also hate needles. Went in to get two horizontal complete bony impaction wisdom teeth on bottom, two back molars right in front, and my two grown in wisdom teeth top side. I was nervous as hell, bottom teeth were real close to the nerves. The doc and his team knocked it out of the park. From the quick and painless IV to the great results after. Sitting here resting and all numbness has worn off and I feel honestly great. Everyone was extremely kind and answered all my dumb questions haha. 200% recommend this establishment for any and all oral surgery needs. Ill be recommending them to all friends and family. I was so afraid about being put to sleep, and they did such a wonderful job giving me all the information before surgery. Even gave me a nice warm heated blanket. Hours after surgery I feel great, no swelling or anything. I really appreciated how the doctor did follow up call the same day. This is a great place to go.

After having a rough experience last year with Western Dental, wait times, multiple office visits, lack of equipment, being injected with novocaine and being sent home with no work done. I paid in full and they refused to go on with the procedure after 5 to 6 office visits. It was a 3 month battle to be refunded.Fresno Oral Maxillofacial is night and day, the office is clean, the staff are friendly, short wait times, they are knowledgeable and professional. I was lucky to stumble upon this place as they recommended a awesome orthodontist and began the process to get me closer to having that perfect smile. I cant thank them enough. Even with my prior, dental experience here in Fresno. I am glad the work is now being done by true professionals. Id recommend this office to anyone who is in need of dental work.

My experience was wonderful from the start. The greeting during Intake was pleasant and very cozy. I was very nervous but once the Doctor arrived on the scene with the best smile and brightest eyes my fear immediately went away. Doctor A, was able to articulate the procedure from the beginning to the end. I didnt have one question nor concern. I would recommend this Doctor to anyone who desire implants. Today my daughter and I had procedures performed at this office by two wonderful dentists. We were very very pleased with the care and expertise allotted to us during our procedure. We left the office wanting to even better ourselves (we are health care givers) when we go back to our work! Our Dental techs Ashley and Marisol, our dentists Drs. My experience at Fresno Oral Maxillofacial Surgery was amazing! I had to have all four wisdom teeth removed and Dr. Curiel was very kind and patient when discussing my options for anesthesia. On the day of my procedure all of the staff was very kind, patient and supportive! (especially Marty!) I had zero discomfort during and after the procedure. Later that evening Dr. Curiel called to check up on my current condition which was very kind. A few days after, I sadly was having pain from one tooth. However, as soon as I called FOMS and explained my symptoms they immediately made an appointment for me two hours later! I was seen immediately and received clove oil for my dry socket. The pain ceased as soon as the dressing was applied. I am almost 2 weeks post procedure and my gums are closing up beautifully! No more pain! Thank you so much to the entire staff/team at FOMS! You guys are truly wonderful!

The office was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. My son has had a lot of teeth pulled and he had a faster recovery with Dr Barnhart. That last fact was the most surprising as this was his most complicated extraction secondary to an impacted tooth (4 in total were removed). I expected a longer recovery time (my son had 4 non permanent teeth pulled at his dentist prior to Dr. Barnhart’s extraction of permanent teeth). I don’t think anything could have made me happier than his quick recovery without complications. While no one wants to have oral surgery, I know that if it is again needed for my family we will be heading to Dr Barnhart.

Booked appointment after 4 attempts of Brenda stating their computers were down. Appointment was Booked on 08/03/21 only to arrive and be told that I had no appointment and couldnt be seen. Very unprofessional and costly as Im in a wheelchair and use a medical transport . Dr Barnhart is wonderful and very skilled, however.

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Huh and his team. They were friendly, professional, and thorough, and they made me feel very comfortable going through an intense wisdom teeth removal that had the risk of nerve damage due to how my wisdom teeth were situated. Fortunately, Dr. Huh did a great job and I had no nerve damage or any other complications after the surgery. Dr. Huh even gave me a follow up phone call in the evening after my surgery to check in on me, which I really appreciated.

Older teen daughter had 4 wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Chin 4 days before Thanksgiving. The dental technicians, assistants and Dr. Chin were outstanding. We were given all the info we needed to feel we were making an educated decision about the care and procedure we had chosen; both before and after the removal. By comparison to 2 other siblings who had the same procedure at another business within the last 3 years (and we were pleased w their care), this daughters recovery was so much faster: she wasnt as sore, she wasnt a highly anesthetized, she was able to recover with non-opioid type pain killers, was able to eat (soft, cold foods of course) so much faster. Very manageable discomfort for the first 24 hours which is usually the most challenging. But she was ready to enjoy everything on Thanksgiving. (Yet, still carefully following all her instructions for hygiene care while completing the healing process.) You should have great results too if you pay attention and follow their clear instructions, ask about anything you do not understand; their communication is great. Basically, everything about this experience was all good! I am recommending Dr. Chin and his staff to everyone we know. Also, the office is clean, bright and the office staff is friendly.

Absolutely the best experience. My prior wisdom tooth extraction from a different oral surgeon had me extremely anxious. This was the absolute opposite of that horrible experience. I was seen today at the Fresno office and I could not be happier. My appointment was for a molar extraction set for 8:30. I was taken back and made comfortable, briefed and prepped. After a numbing, the tooth was extracted in less than three minutes. One pull and out! Except for the pain in my jaw from having my mouth open so wide, there was no discomfort at all.Dr. Allen Chiens bedside manner was such that it felt like I was in the home of a friend. He allayed all of my fears with a few words and the procedure went off without a hitch. Highly recommended.Jeff Haggard

It was a very nervous procedure! My daughter want to do the sedation form, but cause she got breakfast did did the mask instead! This review is for three implants performed by Dr. Allen Chien in July 2020.I was convinced the procedure ranked at a level among a heart transplant.My main concern focused around anesthesia and possible side effects. Dr. Chien listened, understood AND addressed all concerns by putting me in the hands of his Lead Assistant Angela.Behind my fashionably floral printed face mask, I was a nervous wreck. Angela immediately took measures to build my trust in Dr. Chiens work. Angela has more than the gift of a womans touch, she is equipped to diffuse a tense situation through guidance, support and warmth. A year later Im happy to recommend Dr. Chien, Angela and the rest of his staff. Simply stated, they give great oral.

I took my son in for removal of his wisdom teeth. Everyone was so friendly and courteous. They put my sons anxiety at ease therefore I felt much better as a parent taking your child in for something like this. I would highly recommend this office and Dr. Chein. He was kind and professional. My son has since healed nicely. Dr. Chein called us the night of the appointment to check on my son to see if he was OK. Nice touch!

I had a cracked molar, that needed to be extracted as it was causing so much pain in my jaw and neck. Dr. Huh was the best hands down. I would reccomend him and the oral center to anyone. He is a skilled and amazing man. His bedside manner is like no other. His staff that assisted him held my hand. They talked to me through the whole procedure and encouraged me and comforted me. The team and staff have been phenomenal in guiding us through everything. I had jaw surgery in November of 2020 and am so happy with the results. With 2020 being having so many unprecedented events, my surgical team continued to make my treatment feel like a priority- no matter how busy they were. My mom and I were communicated with and given the truth about the experience, which is all you can ask for when undergoing jaw surgery. I love both offices, all the nurses and staff, and especially Dr. Kheradpir! Thankful to have had such a well trained and kind team by my side.

Over all my experience was very good, when I initially came for a consultation they where very nice and welcoming. getting my wisdom teeth removed was the first major surgery I had in my life and I was glad it was with them, it was a painless operation.very accommodating staff and very helpful finance staff.

I had a major abscess in March 2020. Dr. Barnhart, bless her heart, operated on me at almost midnight. Well past her 8 hour shift. It was over before I had a chance to say good night. Next day abscess was gone along with a tooth or 2. Absolutely no pain. But it got worse within a couple weeks and had to have all infected teeth extracted. Again no pain whatsoever. I do remember a big smile on her face right before lala land. Ended up getting snap on dentures for the top and regular dentures on bottom. Dr. Barnhart and her magical hands and her totally wonderful and friendly gang of assistants couldn’t have done a better job. And I will be eternally grateful to each and every one of them. Now, I just have to get used to talking all over again with all these beautiful teeth. Thanks again Dr. Barnhart and gang. Love you all. Rod Smith

My endodontist told my I needed to have my tooth extracted at 11:45.am Dr. Huhs worked me in at 1pm and by 2:30 I was home and out of pain. At 6pm Dr Huh called me himself to see how I was doing.When I had a question over a week later Dr Huh returned my call himself and was able to provide specifics about my extraction.Service well above and beyond in so many ways.

I have full dental insurance.but they wont see me unless I pay in full now and wait for insurance to reimburse me. They could care less about treating patients, its all about the money.dont go here. Both of my children had their wisdom teeth taken out on the same day. The staff put them in rooms right next to each other. I was able to go into each room. The wonderful staff held my daughters hands because she was scared. The super lady with my son knew exactly what to say to keep him calm. Dr. Barnhart called to check on my children that evening. When my daughter had a reaction to the medication on a holiday I was able to reach Dr. Barnhart right away and get the help I needed. If my family ever has a need for these services again we will go back in a heart beat. Great staff and doctors in a clean, friendly office.

I had an excellent visit and removal of a lump I’ve had in my mouth. The office is pristine inside. It had proper social distancing in place in the waiting room, plexiglass separation between patient and check-in staff and otherwise made me feel very comfortable. My procedure was smooth, and both Dr. Chien and staff explained what to expect during and after, why they were handling the procedure as they were planning it, and gave me access and options to follow up, pain management and specific information as to biopsy results, which came back in only days. Dr. Chien followed up with me personally twice by phone, and my family was so impressed by the care and communication, which seems rare these days. Also, I was taken immediately and didn’t have to wait at all. Super efficient, which I appreciated, because I’m also short on time. Highly recommend. PS I also loved that they gave me the costs upfront in case insurance didn’t cover it, so there will be no surprises or misunderstandings. Plus it was super reasonable, which was a surprise to me! I would have addressed this long time ago, if I knew that.

This place is really nice and the staff is very friendly. What I didnt like ant the experience and why it got two stars is because I had a nine a clock wisdom teeth removal appointment and i have been sitting in a uncomfortable chair waiting for the doctor for an hour. They came back I offered me a blanket and I told the lady no I just want to know when Im acctually gonna get my surgery and she walked out and started talking to another employee. I wont come back here just off of this experience its annoying. Why have me come in at nine when all I have done is sit for an hour.

For years Ive max out my insurance for dental. Awesome service. Friendly staff. They had great communication through the entire tooth extraction process. My tooth was difficult but they were positive and encouraging through the whole process. I had very little pain afterward, which I think can partially be attributed to how my body heals but also to the great job they did. Wonderful all around, which is nice when you have to do something unpleasant like get a tooth pulled.

I had all four of my wisdom teeth taken out by Dr. Thomas Curiel and he did an incredible job. All four of my wisdom teeth were impacted and very close, almost touching, my nerves and he managed to not hit nor affect my nerves in any way. The office gave me two numbers in case I had any problems 24 hours of the day. I was able to heal very quick and easily. I would recommend Dr. Curiel to any of my family members and friends.

Awesome team! I have four wisdom teeth and finally got the courage to get two out. One was impacted and because of this I had wanted to be put out with IV. Unfortunately my veins were too small and it didn’t work out. Throughout the process, Dr. Huh was very upfront and patient. I especially want to thank Crystal. I think she could tell that I was nervous while we were trying to find a vein that would work and started a conversation with me. She was soothing and made it a relaxing process while Dr. Huh carefully extracted my teeth. She made sure to tell me what was going on as I was awake and I really appreciated that. Thank you! I had the best experience ever at Fresno Oral Maxillofacial Surgery. I had an implant that was not done right and needed to redo do the whole surgery again. I was worried of removing the old post but I had to. So I Googled and found many good reviews about this practice. I checked their website and knew more about the staff and decided to schedule an appointment with Dr. Chien. He was very professional and honest and explained to me everything about the procedure. I felt he knows what he is doing and felt confident to do the implant with him. On the day of the operation, everything went so easy and smooth and I did not feel any pain at all till today 12/22! He called me the same day to make sure I am fine. I was blessed and lucky to do it with Dr. Chien in Fresno Oral Maxillofacial Surgery center. I highly recommend this practice. I had immediate anxiety when I entered the building but crystal changed my whole perspective, mind, energy, and calmed me down that made me trust them so freely! Dr. Chen was phenomenal in the anesthesia, with the talking, with absolutely everything! I’m so blessed to have gone with them to take my wisdom teeth at! Mind you, I have never gone through under through anesthesia before! This was just the best experience possible!!! Highly recommend to absolutely everyone!!!!

At the end of July 2020 I had a crown go bad and that resulted in my tooth needing to be pulled. A month after the extraction I was still having pain and random swelling. I was then bounced around by my dentist to various specialists. It wasn’t till November that I was told my jaw was infected and I was in far worst shape then I thought.I was referred to Dr. Kheradpir and after making some hasty calls for approval and appointments his office was gracious enough to fit me in. The staff was phenomenal on getting us scheduled and making sure the urgency of my medical problem was addressed.My wife accompanied me to my first visit and while our heads were still spinning from all the damage my mouth/jaw was in, we left that appointment feeling that whatever happened Dr. Kheradpir was in our corner and things would be ok.He was able to tell me exactly what was happening and while it was a real tough situation, I remember him saying we will fix you. Those words meant a lot.In a short period of time he was able to evaluate my condition and have a solid game plan that we began executing immediately. I have had one procedure so far; several checkups and things are finally better. I still have quite the road of recovery ahead of me but I know Dr. Kheradpir is the right person to get me put back together.His staff is fantastic and they do a great job of making sure you feel comfortable while you are there. I am extremely satisfied with Fresno OMFS. Dr. Curiel did an awesome job with my implant. He is caring and compassionate and even took time to give a call the evening of my procedure to check in on me. I also appreciate a pain-free experience!

I really cannot say enough about Fresno Oral Maxillofacial Surgery center. My son has actually been a patient there twice. The staff is extremely friendly and respectful. Their professionalism put my momma worries at ease. I was confident that they were fully prepared and knowledgeable.

My son had his wisdom teeth taken out by Dr. Chien and I would definitely recommend him. My son has a disability and he was very sensitive to his needs and took the time to explain everything. The surgery was quick and the staff was great all the way around!!!

Dr. Huh and his staff are the best. I had to have a tooth extracted and I trusted him completely. Everyone in the office was so kind and respectful and went out of their way to be helpful. I wouldnt go anywhere else but to him. They are so efficient and concerned about you and get you in immediately when you have a problem. The entire office and Dr. Huh rate a 10 in my book. They took the best care of me. Dr. Huh is so kind and patient with everyone. I love this office.

I’ve had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed and a dental implant done by Dr. Kheradpir and is very happy with his service. Appointments are usually quick and to the point. Havent had a long wait time. I was concerned with my implant a week after it was placed and he was able to squeeze me in no problem. An orchid was also sent after my implant was placed which was the cherry on top! Overall, great service! Will continue to come here if needed. Hopefully i dont.

Great experience, I was in and out within 2 hours. Got two wisdom teeth removed and didnt feel a thing.

I’m 21 and I was so nervous about this appointment through the weeks leading up to it; But when I went in they were patient and answered any questions I had at any point and even called a few hours after the process to check up on me. I had all 4 wisdom teeth extracted and honestly thanks to them I will be able to tell others who are nervous that it’s not bad at all. The time will just fly by. I highly recommend coming here. Dr. Curiel was the one who performed the extraction in case you’re wondering. And good luck finding a place as great as this one!!! And thank you Dr.! :)

It went really smooth I had dr curiel he made sure I was comfortable I had the iv sedation all I remember was knocking out and waking up they made sure I was good after the doc called me and made sure I was good even though it was the day before thanksgiving and this was complicated as well my bottom ones were sitting on a nerve and it still went smooth.

If I could give 20 ⭐️ I would! Dr. Kheradpir and his team were excellent in extracting my wisdom tooth. I have anxiety when it comes to needles, but his team was very comforting the procedure was over within minutes; no pain and I didn’t feel the needle. Thanks again Dr. K and the team!!

Very friendly staff, clean office. They gave great take home instructions and made sure all questions were answered.

Doctor was very nice as well as the assistants. They made sure I was comfortable and relaxed before and after my procedure. Healing went great, I would highly recommend this Doctors office!

Nice , friendly, efficiently run office. Dr. K. Is friendly and explains everything in terms you can understand. He is thorough and I would not go to anyone else for my implants.

Long wait time. If I arrive late they wouldn’t see me but if it’s me waiting they take there time.
