They’re money hungry years back they convinced my husband to get deep cleaning done they over charge him & we have dental insurance & we’re still paying $2,500 in payments. With me they did wisdom teeth extraction the dentist was so uncaring when I was in pain he force me down on the chair. I also wanted to get two top wisdom teeth taken out 1st but the lady dentist didn’t listen to my request kept telling me to get the bottom taken out first what a mistake since my I have more teeth on the top. I also paid too much money upfront for my daughter 4 wisdom teeth to be taken out. We stop going to this marketplace smile yrs ago and now it’s hard for me to trust any dentist PTSD.

Request Dr. Gill!! She is super nice and thoroughly explains everything she is doing to your teeth. Made sure I didn’t have pain and if I was comfortable. Not sure why this place has bad reviews. Will be going here again!Thanks Dr. Gill!!

I absolutely love the doctors and staff. They take care of our needs communicate very well and make sure all our questions are answered. What I didn’t like was the manager of that office. For whatever reason everybody else seems to be on the same page but her. She always has a rude tone, she talks down to patients, and she didn’t mind embarrassing her staff in front of patients. Poor management, poor leadership; as a manager myself I could never treat my staff as such or my clients. I really hope things change before we and I’m sure others go elsewhere.

My husband had an exam today and was very pleased with the service he received. He said he felt totally at ease. The staff was very friendly and efficient. They have state of the art equipment and the office was very clean and sanitized. Would definitely recommend. 😁

After switching dentist offices for so many years, I finally found the best place that truly cares about your teeth. Not only is the staff super nice and helpful, the wait time is also very minimal compared to any dentist offices I have been to. Dr. Kaur is so nice and listened to every concern I had about my teeth. She explained the choices I had in depth and types of treatments available to me. Her assistants were also very kind and went over the cost of the treatments before the procedures took place. 10/10 recommend.

This actually USED to be a good place. However, it has changed significantly over the years. The communication is beyond horrible, and they cant seem to get their billing accurate. I will not be returning nor do I recommend!!

I did not have a good experience the first time that I went there, nor did I have a good experience the second time. They do not communicate well with me at all on the phone and then when I went in to get my wisdom-teeth removed they said that I had to pay when originally they said that I didn’t have to pay because my insurance covers it all. When I pointed that out to the girl (her name is sue) that was helping me, she had an attitude about it and was not even trying to hear my explanation of what she told me over the phone in the first place. They also did not give me a breakdown of what I was expected to pay for and what my insurance pays for. I will never go there again!

The office is amazing and the staff is awesome! I really appreciate how Dr Kaur took the time to explain what I needed and made me feel comfortable right away. By far this is the best dental experience Ive had and I highly recommend this office!

The staff was very friendly, despite me biting a little hard on the X-ray sensor they were happy to retake the images and be patient with me. Guided me through the whole procedure in a calm manner.The wait time was minimal, Dr. Manpreet Kaur is as good as they come when it comes to a dentist. She takes her time to explain thoroughly what is going on with your teeth. She also build a connection with you by providing you with knowledge that helps you keep the teeth healthy.

My family and I visit Marketplace smiles dentist and ortho. We always have a great experience. Staff is friendly and has a gentle touch. My daughter and I both have ortho there as well. Also a great staff.

Would not recommend this place to anyone. Went in for a routine perio cleaning and they tried to force me to use my insurance for a more expensive treatment of over $800 that I didnt need. This place started out great a year ago, but now they cant seem to keep good records, harass you about insurance, and try to give you the most expensive treatments they can find even if you dont need them.

We have been going to this dentistry since 2015. The staff is extremely professional. The doctors are very knowledgeable. Dr. Gill and Dr. Tabel are exceptional. Its a relief to see a practice that accurately bills patients and do not try to over-charge co-pays.

Dr Jeff is the best pediatric dentist in the Fresno. I took my 5 yrs old for the exam On Monday. From scheduling the appointment to the end of the visit , everything they do is worth more than 5 stars..Nayeli in the reception area was very helpful. Explained the financial options in detail.

Be aware of this place, they over charge ppl. They wanted to charge us $106for a filling with insurance. After we reviewed the charges, the amount dropped to $19. Plz check the prices and confirm with your insurance.

Do not go here . They have given me the run around about appointments several times. The final straw was when I had setup a payment plan. They said they were unable to process my payment. I hate owing money and always pay balances . They never contacted me to let me know about the payment situation and turned it over to collections. They could have sent a letter or called me. They’re scammers. It’s too bad because Miguel the hygienist is great.

By far the best staff I and my son have ever dealt with! They truly enjoy what they do and most importantly they accommodate based on what the patient needs and benefits from. Rude Staff. I got a call from a woman named sue asking for an appointment. I asked her some questions, and she immedieately started screaming at me. I tried to answer more questions, but then she hung up on me. Sue is unprofessional and Rude. Please fire her. She does not need this job if she is going to treat customers like complete sh*t.

I have been going here since the day they open their doors. Myself my spouse and our three children. Its always been good service, but yesterday stood out to me and even brought me to tears. I have three teeth that had some staining on them that have made me very self-conscious. Ive told two previous dentists that are no longer there in the past and they just ignored it. Yesterday I told a new doctor I met for the first time there her name is Dr. Kaur. She did not hesitate to listen to my concerns she removed the crowns and noticed that I had a bad cavity under which was causing the discoloration I did not feel comfortable with. She made me feel so good about myself, and the fact that she truly listened really really meant the world to me. I recommend if you want great great service go and see Dr. Kaur

Just stay away there is a different dentist everytime. I just dont trust this place people are nice but my husband had a bad experience everytime he went. I dont like giving bad reviews but everytime he will come home he was always upset and we just changed dentist about 7 months ago.

This place is excellent. My daughter has had problems letting anybody work in her teeth. Shes 5. These people were absolutely great and made her feel comfortable the whole time. Weve gotten more done today then the past three years combined.

I am rating this as a 3 only because the assistant and office staff was friendly, kind and helpful. I first started going to Marketplace Smile because of a dentist and assistant who is no longer there. My childhood experiences were dreadful and Fred (The hygentist) and Dr Cuenca (dentist) made me feel so comfortable. I had a root canal performed yesterday by an amazing man that I was referred to outside of Marketplace. He was light hearted and kind, walked me through everything he was doing and actually talked to me like I was somebody. Even the shots to the roof of my mouth were tolerable. Considering my anxiety levels were so high, his attitude and attention helped me immensely. Today I went to a dentist at Marketplace. I have only seen him once prior. He said hello but after that he really didn’t talk to me. He started by giving me a shot to numb the area and didn’t even tell me what he was doing. It was a very uncomfortable surprise. Nothing like my experience yesterday. Then, through the procedure he pretty much ignored me. He got cement caught between the teeth and then he gave me another shot of numbing medication, which really hurt. He then spent the next few min digging the cement out; so uncomfortable I wanted to curse. When the procedure was over he walked out without a goodbye .My last crown was performed by another doctor and it was nothing like this experience.Talking to someone through a procedure and talking to them in general really goes a long way. My mouth is so sore and I will not be returning to Marketplace Smiles, after having been a patient for over four years

I hadnt been to a dentist in about 2 years. I was really nervous to go but knew I needed to. I was so happy with the experience. I was welcomed by very kind staff, I was treated well even though I was embarrassed about my teeth. The wait time wasnt bad. The prices explained to me- they went over my insurance and what was covered as well as what I would need to pay out of pocket based on what treatment plan I chose. They explained to be that the prices vary depending on which option I wanted. As with everything there was a bare minimum and the nicer longer lasting choice. I went with the longer lasting, as I always say you get what you pay for :) Overall very happy.

My Husband had a confirmed appointment today 11/12/18 @ 06:00. When he got there no one was there. He waited and waited and finally left at 07:00. I called them to ask why they would schedule someone for an appointment when no one was going to be there. The lady could not give ma an answer. They charge you a fee if you cancel your appointment less than 24 hours but they wont give my husband a credit on his account for them not being there for a confirmed appointment. What a freaking joke.

At first, I loved this place, but then I felt more like someone on a used-car lot--and my dental health was the car they were trying to sell me. Always an extra each time I went in. Always something I should have filled, pulled, or crowned. Always a mistake on the bill that needed to be (and was) corrected. The people are friendly, even kind. They hug you when you enter and leave. The office is five minutes from my home. I so wanted to believe that I was getting good care. I wasnt. I paid more for insurance and have returned to my previous dentist. In doing so, Ive learned whats really going on with my teeth. Im guessing the professionals at Marketplace must be on commission. thats the only explanation I can figure out. They must be salespeople.

Love this place. I have had bad experiences before and I let them know ahead of time. They always made sure i wasnt in any pain during a procedure.

I had a poor experience with this place... Never even got a quote since they stated they had a glitch in their machine so I was told I would get it later that day or the next day so I can set up a follow up appointment. Never got anything in my email called and it always stated their lines were busy...not wasting my time here. If they dont want my business Ill go elsewhere.

Dr. Cuenca and his staff are absolutely knowledgeable, kind and caring. I came to this office terrified of the dentist and left with not only a clean smile, but also assured that I am in good hands. All the staff is very kind, patient and assuring (I came with many concerns). Every visit has been nothing short of amazing. I have never had one appointment where the staff didnt make me feel like a valued patient.

Every time my wife goes in for a checkup theres always something wrong with her. She had to get a bridge done, tooth extractions, and a the crown. She just want today and now theyre telling her she needs two more crowns and bridge needs to be redone again. Our insurance doesnt really cover this much procedures and Ive already paid them up to $4,000 out of my own pocket. I think its time to get a second opinion.The reason why Im giving them two Stars is because they are very friendly and professional.

Tried this new dental office because it was closer than my usual dentist. All I can say is stay away from Marketplace Smiles. Made an appointment as a first time patient to get a routine cleaning done and was told that an advanced cleaning is recommended in four stages. When told that just the standard 6 month cleckup/cleaning is wanted which is covered by insurance, the dentist refused unless the advanced was done first for $660 out of pocket. So much for a recommendation. It sounds more like a requirement and a scam. I have never had that issue at the previous dental office as I have been going there for the past 8 years. Definately going going back to my old dental office.

The doctor recommended I get a bridge when he said my tooth couldnt be saved after a root canal was needed. The bridge was supposed to be a permanent but it was made in house & 2 years later it broke & fell out. I cant even get the bridge replaced now because 1 of the teeth that was supporting the bridge has since gone dead. I shouldve just left that tooth missing because they filed my other 2 supporting teeth down to affix the bridge so instead of just missing 1 tooth now I am missing 3. When I had dental work done elsewhere (before the bridge broke & fell out) 2 different doctors told me the bridge looked like it was a temporary. Its been a nightmare to say the least. I highly recommend going elsewhere for your dental work!

ORTHODONTIST Dr Christensen is very pleasaant and knowledgable. But the staff was/is very rude when it comes to appointments or balances to be paid. They act like collection agency. And give no credence to good standing patients. My family has spent thousands at this office over the few past few years. And they act like we wont pay, they threaten to cancel your appointment of you dont bring in money first. Even after you just paid for over two thousand dollars in procedures. They are greedy. Definitley not a family dentist,a corperation. I dont recommend this place if you want genuine care not just be treated like a money tree.

If I can give 0 stars I would. 1 star is being too generous for this place. All staff were nice and very friendly. The problem I had was what was recommended to be done. Mind you I’m in my early 30s, good health, good diet, floss, and of course... brushing my teeth often is a daily routine lol. Initial visit I got x rays done, basic cleaning, then was told I had pre periodontal disease 😳 plus I needed 2 crowns on two tooth’s I never had any problems with!!! Off the bat!!!! Ok... what do I know. I trust these dentist people right?? Yes.. so I went through with the process of both... 2 crowns later, got laser treatment for my “pre periodontal disease”.... came back for a check up.... not much has changed when they measured how deep my pockets were so they stated “yea, some people just have deeper pockets... just floss daily” 😒 really!!!!! Wow. by now.... I knew I was probably getting scammed, but came back for a last check up, every 6 months. New dentist, surprisingly.... meet her... and she told me that all my teeth’s that had fills, would need to be changed to CROWNS, FYI more than 1, and I also needed veniers for my barely chipped front tooth!!! By this time I was DONE!!!!! Walked out and never returned. Now, they don’t even pick up their phone. So to the public, save your time, money and effort. This place is out to scam the life out of you and their stupid ceric crowns they offer to make in house!!!! But if you still want to give them a try, that’s fine too. But if they suggest a crown or two.... don’t say I didn’t tell you. Learn from my mistakes and avoid this place.

This market place sucks.. i have had trouble with my crown since the first day they put it on. They were able to replace it the first time it fell out now that it has been on for 4/5moths. it has fallin out today march 19,2018 i am so angry and in pain i cant even talk due to it being extreamly sensative cant eat or drink😡😡😡😡😡

They are friendly up front but when it comes to billing and/or account information they are the worst. They do not fully disclose information and then try and screw you in the end.
