Dr. Von Kaenel without Question knows what he’s doing, he’s all business he’s funny at times but at the end of the day this man and his staff has relieve my neck fusion pain and lumbar pain say what you want about his character I think he’s a funny dude he’s an expert in this field.

Dr. Kaenel is a miracle worker. I came in with excruciating back pain that did not allow me to perform my work duties. If it wasn’t for his care and experienced skills that he possess, I would probably have had to retire early. I thank Dr. Kaenel for his expertise. Thank you, Jess Cruz

I recently had RFA on my lower spine. After suffering with severe pain for several months, I was referred to Dr. VonKaenel. He was excellent at explaining what the problem was and how he would treat it. There is no doubt that he has the best interest of his patients in mind. I’ve been seeing Dr. Von Kanenel 4 years now. All the other doctors before him said that my condition was un-treatable. Cervical Facet Atrophy. He has preformed 4 neck RFA procedures on me one about every year. He changed my life and I will always be grateful for his help. Before I met him I was unable to even drive a car. My neck was frozen in position and I had to wear a neck collar 24 hours a day. Since the first RFA procedure I now have the full use of my neck again and the pain is gone.

Always does great work. I had my second RFA on my lower lumbar. I’m sure it will be just as great as the left side. Thank you for all your help getting the prescription resolved.

Ok... I have read the reviews...my first visit I will admit I thought he was lacking in bedside manner too. In my years going to specialists I have found the specialists that SEEM to have no bedside manner are the best doctors. They are busy and concentrating doing their best job.At the surgery center he was much more relaxed and in his element.He is excellent at what he does which is much more important than a bedside manner to me. I dont go to a doctor to make friends or be entertained... I go for their expertise which Dr. Von Kernel definitely has in his field.

I wasted 5 years with another Dr. in town. This man put his needle in the correct position.I don’t care what anyone says. He is the best in his field. I found him to be funny. He explained everything to me so that could understand it.I will not be going anywhere else.Tracy Foye

Just had a Epidural Steroid Injection yesterday and so far no pain from the injection site also my level of pain has gone from average of 8 to now a level of 1 and 2. Everyone complains about his bedside manner but honestly a doctor is not suppose to be your best friend. He is a doctor and is there to take care of you, I understand empathy but today’s day and age where people are trying to score opoids I can understand why he is rough around the edges. When he is in the O.R. This doctor is amazing and understanding, he answered every concerned and made sure I was comfortable. I am actually in tears right now writing this because I thought my life was over and this is the way it is going to be from now on. Words cant Thank you enough Dr Kaenel for giving me my life back. Thank you for showing me another life than being a zombie on pills.

I am not the first to speak about his extremely poor customer service or bedside manner. I don’t see doctors as friends but the way in which he speaks/treats a patient is downright rude, disrespectful and condescending. From the very first visit he was disrespectful of other physicians saying they had misdiagnosed or didn’t know what they were doing when I tried to explain my previous experience. But is quick to tell you how great and masterful he is.He is NOT. I had more issues after he worked on me. Of course I didn’t know what I was talking about according to him. For someone who was in the military, as was I for over 20 years he failed to learn how to be humble, respect others and listen.I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone.

I am a patient and do not find him rude in any way. He is good at what he does and that’s why I went there. Not to find a friend or a buddy. I needed a good smart dr to help with my back

Dr. Von Kaenel is n EXPERT at his work. If you want a wonderful expert pain control physician go in with an open mind and respect Dr. Von Kaenel. He is not there to be your best friend. He is there to be your best DOCTOR. I love Dr. Von Kaenel and trust him explicitly. His work has helped me a with my pain control

Found him interesting. Explained everything, answered every question. Did dictate notes from other patients. But he explained, diagrammed, examined, and understood what I needed.

Staff is overall great and Dr. Von Kaenel is amazing. My husband was walking hunched over in constant pain. He could no longer work and we thought our only option was some sort of back surgery. Instead after two outpatient visits for Radiofrequency Neurotomy he is better than he has been for years and is almost totally pain free.

My very first visit with him------- HES A JERK!!!!! His assistant was already nervous about his mood before I met him because of some copies that didnt print well. I told her she was making me nervous about meeting him and she says hes in a playful mood today! I keep reading his reviews and most say to not let his bed side manner get in the way of his practice. I will pray for him and his staff. His office and the 2 staff I met today show how stressful it must to work for someone like Dr. William von Kaenel. I pray he will help me with my pain and I pray next time I see him he is a more gentle and kind man.

I have to tell you Dr. VonKaenel is one of the best MDs Ive been to in a long time. He has a great sense of humor, he is honest and does not hold punches. He is trying to help all of his patients, its just too bad that not all of them listen.I have been going to him for the last several years. Without him, my quality of life would not be where it is today. I waited too long to go back to him this time, and the only one that suffered for that was me!The first time I met him I too was worried about his bedside manor and decided that Im just too old to put up with that. So I told him, he reminded me of my husband - A cranky old man. He sat back and started to laugh. I appreciate a physician that I can be honest with and that will educate me on what he is doing and why. He knows what he is doing and will try his hardest to get you as much pain relief as possible to get you off the pain meds.Dr. VonKaenel Thank you for being just who you are and working as hard as you do! All these fools talking about how rude he is are so slow minded that they dont know a good thing if it nit them in the buttI stopped and listened to the DOCTORWho I needed help from.I was on 300 norco a month300 ocxys a monthOver 500 ibuprofen a monthAnd thats not even the pills I got from the hospital when things got bad..I wanted to no longer exist and then I prayed and God gave me my back dr Ive now been with for over 6 yrsIm on norco only now and a few ibuprofen pillsI got blue shield and they sent me to the best dr they had and hes it..Just cus others want to cloud there drs mind with there version of events and dont care to thinkMaybe he read my file and Im repeating what he already knows silly.Then maybe youll get the help I neededAND IF YOU DONT G OK BACK GOODI NEED THE APPOINTMENT ANDY WAYS

Ive gone to Doctor for a number of years and quite frankly he is the only reason I am not loaded on pain meds all the time. Dont look for bedside manner but he is a perfectionist at his job and explains everything very clearly.

Would not have gone to him if we had read the reviews before going. Our experience was not good.

I could not stand or sit with out pain, he helped a lot.
