Today was my first day of being seen and treated. I was very nervous but the staff and Dr made my visit feel very comfortable. I wasn’t judged or looked at a certain way. I definitely recommend this place for anyone who needs treatment. They really are welcoming. I’m looking forward to accomplishing my goal at this place!

I saw a comment on here that says Alexa is a great counselor, if it’s the same Alexa NO WAY my husband had her for about 8 months he started telling me about his conversations with her and she mostly talked about herself after about 7 months she seemed to start getting flirty and then crossed a HUGE boundary with him which a counselor should NEVER do she knew what she was doing even said don’t tell your wife I told you this. So of course he switched counselors. Anyway other than her it’s definitely a good place for treatment and things are going great with his new counselor so far she doesn’t at all sound like his last one thank goodness.

I really like Aegis treatment center. The staff are respectful and very discreet when it comes to your privacy. Dr. Lasher is great he genuinely cares about your sobriety and how comfortable you are on your dose without being sedated. Aegis has saved my life . Im happily in a relationship and raising my 4 beautiful kids in a drug free environment. Thank you Aegis for everything.

Ive been coming to Aegis since February 1, 2001 except for a few years living in a different city. Before I moved back to Fresno I called an made an appointment. Unfortunately I missed 1 day because of traveling so I had to earn my bottles again. Ive got 6 take homes and am waiting for my 13. I am editing my review because of my experirnce here with COVID 19. 2 weeks ago I went in and their computer system was down. No one got take homes so I went back the next day and computers were fixed but the line was around the block. Most of us waited 2 hours on the hottest day of the week. Tempers flared. Staff were telling patients to keep our masks on but it really was hard in the heat. Finally we all got dosed and got our take homes. Hopefully the kinks will get straightened out.

I came to Aegis just over 3 months ago. Just got my weekend take-home bottles and its wonderful! My experience has been nothing but positive. From the girls in the front to the girls in the back and security in between they are super people. Efficient, curtious and have never made me feel anything but special. My counselor is fantastic. I look forward to my sessions with him. He has done everything in his power to make this a positive experience. Thanks to his encouragement I have self with a serious medical condition Id been ignoring for years. My thanks to all.

They seemed to actually take pleasure in my failure. The ladies who worked the front were absolutely terrible and acted like they were better than every person that came in for treatment. One of the only cool people at Aegis is good old doctor Lasher. He makes it tolerable to come there to dose.

I have totally enjoyed my treatment at Aegis . You are treated like a person not a number. As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted by your name and the staff are always smiling. My counselor is strict but fair and she really cares about your mind, body and soul. She makes sure she finds out my week has gone and if I have any issues she is there to help me work thru them so I dont fall backwards in my treatment.

New director that I previously posted meant that a new director is there now than when I was there sometime ago. I had problems then I hope its better now with the new director.

If youre looking for change and are willing to accept help then this place definitely can help you. Professional atmosphere, knowledgable and helpful staff. They are set willing to go that extra mile for you so long as youre willing to help yourself.

Aegis is a good fecatliy their very good on making sure rules are followed and the employee’s are very welcoming it has a nice family environment vibe , and the doctor is great he listens to all concerns an helps resolve the problem without judging you , the doctor really does help you .

I think they saved my life. And thanks to my young but very much appreciated councelor I am sober and living life free of addiction. Thank you doctor Lasher. Aiges is great if you need change and are willing to do anything to help save your own life. This is a place of healing I thank you for everything.

I have been coming here for over 5 years. The only reason it has taken this long is because of 2 pregnancies. Anyway, Aegis has a wonderful staff, the counselors are awesome and certified in many different types of counseling besides addiction. The best part is Dr. Lasher who is very knowledgeable about methadone. Their goal is to get you off methadone completely by setting up a taper once you are ready and at the correct pace for the individual. Currently I taper 2mgs a week and its working great. But if it becomes too much too handle you can just hold at your current dose or even go back up if needed. The property both inside and out is very well maintained and clean. They are also child friendly. I love this place and feel very confident I am in safe hands.

Ive been to all the local Methadone clinics Aegis is VERY strict if youre late or miss an appointment with given counselor you have to wait an HR before dosing for next 2 days.It felt like it was a game when Im not feeling well.The counselors cant go up or down on your dose only the DOC. Im and Medmark and they understand that its hard in recovery. Aegis for military or something they didnt dose me when I was sick and I relapsed on top I called to tell them Im sick I may use and the lady said OK.Beautiful Staff but its kinda funny it is what it is. Good luck to anyone trying.Try no Methadone and kick it on your own!

The staff led by Tiffany have created a positive, helpful atmosphere. Dr. Lasher and the dosing nurses are very professional and well trained to help anyone with an opiate addiction who truly wants help..

Well Ive been to three of these Aegis and by far this is the worst. Director..if she doesnt like you kiss your ability to feel safe goodbye. And for those of you who pay forget it. Thats why Im going to transfer to a better place were they got a grant so those of us with no medi-cal or means to pay can recover with out fear. Ever wonder why most places with MMT or bupe in our little valley got some gov. funding and Aegis did not? IDK, do you?Edit: the staff, some of you guys are awesome and thanks to some of them I was able to get through a lot but in the end, their director just made feel so hopeless and alone with no one to torn to. If it werent for this director Id stay but owell....

Awesome place, let me tell you I was hesitant on getting help but the staff/Dr. made it easy for me by making me feel welcome and not like a user.

Ive got a loved one who has been a client there and I am so grateful for the new life it has given him.

I am currently receiving treatment there and let me tell you it was the worst mistake I have ever made in my whole life. I went from functional (minus the 3 hydrocodone a day ;) to my daily dose now of 173mg a day (I start shaking at 5:30am and have to go to the clinic. In addition to maxing out my dose radically quick, the staff is horrible to work with. They have taken me to the point now where I am literally going to have to claim BK because they wont let me take my medicine to work with me. Heres what happened after receiving a 11 day take home medicine bottles I somehow someway double dosed on one of the 11 days (honestly I dont know how its the worst mistake Ive made in my life other than coming to this clinic for help.) But it doesnt matter that I have been there for 16 months never coming up once with a dirty UA, never once missing a counseling session (if your thinking about coming think about 12 hours less a week you have of life.) They cant keep a counselor there for over 4 months (Im on number 6!) and while its mandatory for you to come in for an hour of your time each week, they dont take this into consideration when doing take homes! So anyways to get to the point I cant work! Im being forced by there staff starting with Manager of Aegis clinic in Fresno Tiffany to not work and become bankrupt and the Dr. is complacent watching this or not seeing what is happening. I am being forced to dose at the clinic and have been missing work, after work, after work come to me and being promised by the staff they will fix things they dont care! They owe you money $$ they dont care they have owed me $750.00 since March (that is when I signed paperwork stating due to their erroneous billing I was paying $250 a month out of my pocket instead of my insurance being billed! This happened for 8 months and only changed when I found one of the good counselors I had there! They are few and far inbetween and are forced out as quick as they come! For me treatment was about becoming better for my 3 kids but has turned into the undoing of a lifetime!! After headache after headache (Believe me I could go into great detail about the money I have lost over just the past 6 weeks alone! No end in sight! Only empty promises! Nightmare!

I started there in 12-2012 I have been clean going to be 2 years in dec. if it wasnt for this clinic , counselors and the meetings that I run and attend I dont know where I would be . As long as you give clean Uas go to meetings be honest with the staff and do what ur suppose to do everything is great !!!! I currently run a meeting called K2R and I love it THANKS AEGIS Ive been cleaning going on 2 years in December all because of the clinics house !! And I would recommend this clinic over all the other ones In Fresno !! Nice and friendly service , very welcoming ! And I feel that the Dr is very nice and is always there when you need something !!!!

I WAS INTENTIONALLY AND EGREGIOUSLY DISCRIMINATED AGAINST BY THE AFRICAN-AMERICAN DR. KANNON ELLIOTT NALLS PSY.d WHO INHERENTLY RUNS THE CLINIC AS ACTING MANAGER WITH FULL AND COMPLETE HIDDEN PERSONAL, DISCRIMINATORY, AGENDA. HE INTENTIONALLY FABRICATES AND CONCOCTS AND ALLOWS OTHER STAFF NAMELY DOSING NURSES TO FABRICATE AND CONCOCT STORIES TO INTENTIONALLY ENABLE UNETHICAL SEVERE ABUSE OF CLINIC RULES AND REGULATIONS ALLOWING THE CLINIC MANAGER TO TERMINATE SERVICES AT ANY TIME. THIS DR. NALLS TERMINATED MY SERVICES WHICH HE INTENTIONALLY DID ON A FRIDAY KNOWING NO OTHER CLINIC HAD MEANS TO PROVIDE ME WITH ALTERNATIVE SERVICES THROUGH THE WEEKEND UNTIL I COULD APPROPRIATELY AND PROPERLY BE TRANSFERRED OUT. HE MAXIMIZED HIS ILLEGAL ABUSE OF POWER AND LEFT ME UNABLE TO PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY CARE FOR MYSELF, MY WIFE AND MY TWO CHILDREN. HIS ABRUPT, UNETHICAL, OVERWHELMINGLY ABUSIVE OF HIS POSITION ALLOWED A TRAVESTY TO OCCUR IN WHICH I HAVE NOT ONLY BEEN DEFAMED IN CHARACTER BUT HAVE SUFFFERED IRREVERSIBLE AND IMMENSE EMOTIONAL, AND MENTAL TRAUMA. I WAS INTENTIONALLY HUMILIATED IN FRONT OF STAFF, AND CLINIC PATIENTS WITH NO REGARD FOR MY PRIVACY AND MY RIGHTS. THIS CLINIC ALLOWED THIS DR. NALLS TO BLINDLY ISSUE EDICTS, CONTINUOUSLY MAKE PREJUDICED, RACIAL SLANDERING REMARKS DUE TO MY ETHNICITY. THIS IS THE MOST EGREGIOUS AND DISGUSTING IMMORAL TRAGIC SITUATION WE MUST NEVER ALLOW TO HAPPEN FOR A SECOND TIME AND UNFORTUNATELY DUE TO THIS TYRANNICAL UNCHECKED BEHAVIOR I CAN PERSONALLY ATTEST TO SEVERAL IF NOT DOZENS OF CASES THAT WILL RING MOST SIMILAR TO THAT OF MY OWN AS STATED HEREIN. THIS DR. KANNON ELLIOTT NALLS SHOULD BE BANNED FROM EVER PRACTICING ANY KIND OF MEDICINE AND FROM HAVING ANY KIND OF CONTACT WITH ANY PATIENTS EVER AGAIN!

The doctor there is a trigger for me to use because every time I have had an appointment with him hes constantly nodding in and out. So either he is also on methadose or some other type of opiate. Regardless witch one hes using, he is obviously taking way too much because I dont even get like that. I constantly have to repeat myself to him because he asks me the same question two or more times.
