This Dr. Matthews is not patient she is rude. She has been seeing my mother for too long and has not provided her with the excellent care she deserves. She is not thorough so please do not provide false information. We need to give others the truth so they will not get trapped into this type of health care. They deserve better.

Dr. Mathew is a great doctor, I usually would not review a doctor but I wanted to counter the experience that stated she was impatient when translating. I translate for 3 of my family members that have her as a doctor and not once did she state such a derogatory remark. Very patient and through, she acts on her diagnosis quickly and very supportive. She herself has a strong accent so I am surprised by such a review. However, I can only speak on what I know.

Dr. Mathew was my primary doctor for several years per the recommendation of my mom. At first, she was nice, accommodating, and knowledgeable - easily seen as a trustworthy medical professional. However, it was after I started developing more severe health problems did that change.I started experiencing excessive fatigue and rapid weight gain, but did not know the reason why. I sought her advice, and she kept dismissing my concerns and simply said that I need to lose weight. Every time I tried to direct her focus back to my concerns, she would find another way to say that I was borderline obese and needed to be more active. The problem was, I was trying to be, but was experiencing pain and difficulty with doing this. She didnt listen though. You need to lose weight, she echoed.The only thing she suggested was to do blood work to rule out thyroid issues, but other than that, she was set on the idea that the negative symptoms I was experiencing was my own fault. Completely discouraging and dismissive. She didnt even suggest any exercises I could try.Turns out I have a compressed, crooked spine (and x-rays to prove it!) as a result of old injuries and years of it not being treated, which was causing all of the above symptoms. Im getting treated for that now with a different doctor, and am getting better. If Dr. Mathew wasnt so quick to think it was all my fault, I could have been treated sooner, and not experienced a whole year of additional pain and suffering.If youre completely healthy and dont require a lot of attention or advice, great, she might be for you. But if you want actual medical care and professionalism, go to someone else.

I wouldnt recommend it at all, she wasnt professional at all, the way that she treated my wife when I was translating some of the conversation to her, saying well she should learn english she is just a doctor, not the interviewer for the green card, besides it took her almost a month to give the results and thats only because I called them every single day asking for them. I dont understand how government recommends her
