This place is so so. I would not go back.Disappointed that the gel color for my nails didnt match the toe nail color, even though they had combined the gel and regular polish and said that they were a match. Of course my fault for not noticing until after I left. Just make sure the colors truly match.

Tracey did an acrylic full set with a natural gel color! She was extremely gracious and accommodating. It took about 50 minutes to complete this set. Strongly suggested!

This place was everything I wanted today!! So good! Today I got both a manicure and a pedicure. My manicure was done by The Lovely Mrs. Heather and The Beautiful Mrs. Lynn. They were both so nice. At first I thought they were just being nice because it was my first time coming to this place, but, as I sat and listened to the other staff talk to every customer on the phone and the way they greeted each person that walked through the door, I was impressed by their customer service skills. They were sweet to everyone, not just myself.Oh and don’t get me started on the massage! Hands down the best place that has given me a massage with my mani pedi! They took their time and worked me deep! So good! So needed! So nice. I am coming back with friends.And for those of you wondering, no this ain’t fake. It’s real and they’re good so stop reading, make your appointment and go :)

Deep breath.Ok I never write bad reviews but this was warranted.Ease of appointment making was great! Cleanliness was 4/10.MOST of the staff were very cheerful and kind. I made an appointment for me and my 15 year old daughter to get manicures and pedicures before a vacation. Just simple gel polish nothing else. There was only two women there at the time that could communicate in English so they knew what we wanted. At the beginning of the treatment they totally stopped and went over pricing with me as if I was going to cancel and walk out because of the cost. This woman came to me with a little piece of paper with numbers added up to ensure I understood that there were EXTRA costs for gel and two designs and that I wanted French designs. Yes I understand. That being said she quoted 220$ which didnt include my daughter manicure, just my service and at that time my daughter pedicure.So.I asked for not totally square tips because I hate how sharp the corners are. So I asked for a middle ground of square and round and I got VERY SQUARE. The woman doing my pedicure told me that since I had some dry skin on my shins I should upgrade to a different pedicure so she could use the exfoliating scrub. Which is fine.The picture from Pinterest is exactly what I wanted. Heart top to be towards the top of the nail with balloon string going towards cuticle. Well that didnt happen. The lady doing my pedicure decided to add her own flare.Ummm 🤔She was VERY KIND and I hate saying I wasnt happy but...So..The woman doing my manicure was also the woman that did my daughters pedicure. She was so odd. Frowning and glaring and Im sure talking bad about us in whatever language they were using. She complemented me on my nail beds and how strong my nails are. When I told her to PLEASE be gentle with the cuticle removal she either ignored me or didnt care because she made me bleed as shown in one picture the finger with the heart design. The gel is sloppy (see bubbles, French tips being dragged into clear area) and I had to ask her FIVE TIMES to please touch up the pinky and ring finger on my left hand and she just said its ok. So I had to file it after I got home.Overall... Well never go back...For everything I paid 270$ and I gave 10$ tip for each individual service so the mean lady actually got 20$ from me which in retrospect I shouldnt have done. I just feel like when people work on me this closely I like to give them a tip. But this lady.. ugh ..I do feel bad leaving this review but theres SO MANY good reviews I had to say something. Im so sorry I dont know the names of anyone. EXCEPT Tracy she was GREAT she did my daughters manicure! Which is why I gave two stars. None of the other women said their names or introduced themselves.

Preface: Ive been looking for a regular place for consistently good nails and lashes, and I dont need a ton of frills or super fancy decor to feel pampered.Pros:- super competitive prices for high quality work- easy online booking- staff are friendly, kind, and caring- walk-ins for nail service with no wait times (so far)- long lasting results on nails and eye lashes- serious attention to detail- all the staff cares about getting you EXACTLY what you wantCons:- not everyone speaks perfect English, so if you cant understand a slight accent, communicating will take a little longer (be patient, they want to make you happy)Lash Experience:Special shout-out to Julie for the incredible set of lash extensions she did. I brought in a pair of strip lashes that I love and she not only replicated it as best as extensions allowed, but also added in extra volume because I told her Id be in the water and she wanted them to last! She explained exactly how shed layer everything before we started, and was super attentive throughout the whole process. I cant wait to see her for refills.Nail Experience:Compared to Yvonnes, this was worlds better. They meticulously shape/file/smooth so your foundation for polish is perfect. They do a test to make sure you actually the color when its on. I havent ever felt rushed, and my nails last for 2 weeks at least. I do not have acrylics though, so this is just for natural nails. Someone usually offers a water/mimosa while youre there, though I havent gotten that yet (and dont really need either).UPDATE: its been over 2 weeks since my nail appointment and theyre still almost perfect, save for some lifting around the edges. Lashes are still filled all the way around after 2 weeks too.Id definitely recommend Rosehip to others. They get good business throughout the day, so try to book an appointment or dont be shocked if theres a little wait.

I have gone to this nail spa several times and was happy with all my services. I have never really thought about it when the nail techs talk in their native language. The last time I was there, there was a conversation happening, then in English all of a sudden the employees started taking about how Americans need to learn to tip and “In America nothing is free”. I’m confident it wasn’t directed at me because I usually tip 20%. I will add that after the shut down I had to get a new job and an $8 an hour pay cut. To shame people about a non-mandatory tip is simply TACKY! Manners are international. Bye now.

The staff here is so friendly and the spa is so clean! I started coming here for pedicures, (which are super nice) and more recently I got my lashes done here. Carrie is an amazing lash tech btw!

Never come here. They are islamophobic and completely unprofessional. I did gel nails but there was a bump so I asked if they could fix it but they kept telling me my nail was bumpy. They eventually fixed it and it wasn’t my nail that was the issue it was their service. Don’t waste your time coming here.

I want to start off by saying that I’m not fond of leaving reviews but this one is EXTREMELY worth it! Today wasn’t my first visit but it was the greatest one indeed. The first few times were mani/pedi and they have always impressed me with their excellent customer service. They even ask if you want coffee, tea, or water. Just like in flights! I had to get my lashes done as I walked in, and walked out with fabulous ones indeed! Carrie is a professional and we talked a lot about her passion in this industry. Carrie had the lightest hands, you wouldn’t even notice she started her work already. The whole process was smooth sailing and truth be told, I don’t think it is fair to talk trash about her art since she’s been doing it since 2008. I am a big fan of her dedication and love for lashes! This place is definitely a must try and before you know it, you’ll find yourself coming back again and again. I’m not even from around here, yet I still find every visit VERY worth it.

I feel very upset and discriminated against by the owner and her very negative response to my Yelp review. I am a Muslim women whom wears a head scarf and I have not gone back since my last visit but she has associated me with another Muslim women just based on the fact that she may have worn a scarf too but directed this incorrect response at me.

I came in yesterday and Heidi microbladed my eyebrows. I came in today and she did my nails! I am super happy with both! Heidi did an amazing job!

Id like to preface my review by saying that I usually dont leave reviews but the service was so exceptional that I felt compelled to write a review. To reinforce that, I am leaving a review letting the internet know that I got a pedicure. The pedicure was that good, which is why im putting myself in this position.I have received them in the past and did not enjoy them at all but my experience at Rosehip totally changed my mind. Before this experience, I thought that they were supposed to be painful but it turns out the other places were just bad. This was AWESOME. I kept expecting something to hurt but instead it was just a really relaxing, pleasurable experience. At the end of it, I felt like I had brand new feet. I will definitely be a return customer!

Ann does a great job on my nails and takes great care in my pedicures. The take great care and I never feel rushed

Love it! My customer service experience was A-1. I work in the area several months a year and had the hardest time finding a nail salon that did favorable work. Sam took me the 1st time and Ive gone back to him ever since.

I was looking for a new nail salon, very happy I came across this one. I was able to book an appointment same day, late afternoon on a Tuesday, and came out with very pretty nails. The last nail tech I had seen made my acrylics very lumpy and I requested to have them removed, Tee did it pain free and ensured I could keep the length. She was great to chat with and I am in love with her work! The only downside was I wish the stations were more organized, I overheard they were understaffed that night and that could’ve contributed to it, and numbers/colors didn’t match. Requested this rose pastel color but the according number that was to match it came back as neon orange. Tee was very adamant to find a color to match the one I requested. Can’t wait to come back!!

Ladies were excellent. My 6yo daughter and I went for pedicures and my daughter had her nails done too. Service was great. They were patient. Salon was well decorated. Customers looked happy coming in and leaving. I would definitely return here if Im back in the area.

I have been going to Rose Hip for at least 6 months and with the exception of one experience, I have always been satisfied. Carrie does my nails (gel) and she is caring and listens to my requests. Her work is high quality and I am always happy with my nails. She also waxes my lips and is very gentle and efficient. When I get pedicures, I always request Trisha. She is professional, fun and takes her time. Both Carrie & Trisha are always on time and I appreciate their promptness.

The care taken by the staff to do a manicure and pedicure was great, but the cost wasn’t worth it. The manicurist pressured me into get the powder nail( upcharge) when I already had gel on my nails and just wanted a color change. Her reason was the powder would make my nails stronger. Cut to two days later and one of my natural nails broken off in a very painful location. I also upped for the luxury pedicure and the nail polish is already chipping off. It’s only been 2 days since I wasted the $150 for this service. I say skip the business pressure, save your cash and bring your own beverage to another nails salon with better quality product.

Ultimate vibes and amazing service. I went with my husband for pedicure and manicure and we truly loved it ... they have clean and hygienic services I just loved my manicure ... all I think is they can improve their massage a little bit... a little more pressure in massage would be just perfect. :)

Your experience at nail salons has so much to do with who you get. I liked mine. The prices were a little more pricey ($5-$10) more than average place but not too bad.

If you had a long week and need a girl talk and mimosa while getting a pedi i would definitely recommend this lovely shop! I live in Richmond CA and will be doing the commute for future services!

I got my lashes done by Heidi and she was fantastic! I was in town and too many of my lashes had fallen out before the event I was in town for. Heidi removed the other lashes and did an amazing job!

Im giving the nail salon 4 stars because I like my nail techs so much. Ann did my fingernails and Lily did my toe nails. If I could rate the receptionist, I would give her ZERO stars based on my experience today. I went in at 1 and they were super busy. She told me to come back at 2:30. We went over the type of manicure and pedicure I wanted. I went home and came back. Lily started my pedicure (which was wonderful!) but no one came to do my nails (I wanted a fill of my acrylic nails). Soon it was 4:30 and no one in sight to do my manicure. I finally asked the manager and he was shocked, he knew nothing about it. He quickly called on Ann to do it. While she was doing my nails, one of her clients came in for a scheduled mani/pedi. Ann had to keep her waiting to finish up on me. Im sure she was stressed but she didnt rush and my nails look awesome. I went to pay and the receptionist never apologized for her mistake. I didnt get the fancy manicure I had booked, I was there for nearly 4 hours and I paid a small fortune. Not a happy camper. I didnt see the manager anywhere when it was time to leave or I would have said something to him. Other than this mistake, this has been my third visit to Rosehip and I have been very happy with everyone who has worked on me. Its very nice and super clean. Despite my experience today, which was probably just a mistake (I would have liked it to be acknowledged) I would recommend this nail salon. Ann also does facials which I plan on getting.

The most worst place to go, I went last week to get my gel nail and Pedi, The lady who did my Gel nails, She didnt use any cuticle liquid , she didnt ask me what type of Meni do I need, She herself started cutting my nails , and without using any cuticle liquid started cutting my nails, When I got little upset, She started talking in her language , I complaint about it, they didnt give me any discount or apologies me. My nails came out and now I have to pay again to get them completely remove . I will never ever recommend this place . They just want to make money , no customer service.

I called through a sign language interpreter and when I asked for their availability, they hung up on me after saying theyre busy. Extremely rude customer service. Do not recommend.

This place is awesome! Ive been coming here for years and everyone is fantastic. I love their pedicures and manicures and they are super clean. Also they do one of the best facials I know.Their pedicure treatments are a joy. I wouldnt go any where else. Van & Anne are awesome and ofcourse so is the owner Natalie.They are upscale for a great price, wouldnt go anywhere else in the bay area.

Says it doesnt open till 11 sat in the parking lot since 10:30 hoping since it accepts walk in that i could be early and get in then noticed people being able to go in walked in at 10:50 and aaid oh no were too busy ....at least update your opening times so people dont waste their time waiting to go in!!!

I have been going to this nail place for sevwral months now. There manicures and pedicures are awesome. I just wish they would update their infinite shine collection and their regular nail polish collection. There have been times that the color I picked out was finshing which made it harder for the nail tech to get the nail polish out causing my poish, when put on my nails, to look incomplete. Not sure why they dont just keep a back stock of these colors?

Used to be a regular customer but there are several problems now. The front desk person is rude, Im left waiting with no idea how long it will be even with an appointment. Prices were raised at least $10 - $15 per procedure, there are too many competitors for me to return.
