Just completed my third colonoscopy with Dr. Mahal. Staff at Fremont Surgical Center we’re very skillful and pleasant. Painless IV, much improved prep experience and painless procedure. A necessary procedure for mature adults and a lifesaving exam.

He has no respect for people’s time. Simple endoscopy takes 5+ hours. This is the fourth time my wife had to go though and every time it’s the same. Always late..Wish there were other dr with Gastrointestinal in Fremont area

I just had my second colonoscopy from Dr. Mahol and should have complained about the pain. The first one, over 5 years ago, went fine. I was completely out, but this time was painful and I was completely awake. I told the nurse about it and she said he likes to keep the anesthesia to a minimum, and he said it was the same amount as last time, but I should have asked for more. He never asked during the procedure how I was doing, so make sure you say something if you have pain during a procedure from him. Im too old to have another colonoscopy(according to him)but I will not be having anything done by Dr, Mahol again.
