Good place for taking your kid for a haircut.. we all know kids can be hard to give haircuts too, and even under the pressure of a screaming kid they still do an amazing job. They have little cars for them to sit in and a play area while you wait with a TV. Overall a great experience

Excellent haircuts for my kids, I highly recommend this place. I took my 9 year old daughter and 7 year old son here for haircuts. They were very accommodating by fitting us in last minute. My son got a very stylish haircut, was perfect! My daughter had a terrible knot in the back of her head that they were able to comb it out and also trim it.. so that it was just what we wanted! Thank you so much!!’

I brought my son for a better hairstyle. However the lady(I think is the owner)just “swipe” 3 times in a minute. And told me that was done! It wasn’t a good looking at all, i had to request the side which around the ears still long and wasn’t cut any at all. After that, I tried to ask the top need to be trim too. She just untied the plastic and said done, done, done! I was so mad and had to paid 20 dollars for this very disappointing experience!

The lady was nice to my son and the haircut wasokay. I just didn’t like that she charged me extra because she used scissors instead of the hair machine to cut my son’s hair. First of all she did not tell me in the beginning what I wanted her to use before cutting my sons hair so this came out out of nowhere when it was time to pay. It felt that she just wanted to make extra money from nothing.

Very kid friendly and patient but they didn’t listen to what I wanted to do with the child’s hair. I wanted to keep his hair longer and they just chopped off everything- that left me dissatisfied- I know it’s just hair and it grows back but listening to customer needs is important.

A great place to get your kids haircut. Super fast and less expensive than other salons. The owner is really professional and great with kids. My kids also love the playground, TV shows and fun car themed chairs.

If you are looking to have first haircut for your kids, this is the right place to go. Generally kids dont shown interest to have their hair cut, this place engages them well and the seating arrangement for the kids interests them. The staff are so kind and joveous.. A little costly but worth it.

Took my son for his first official haircut and the lady was beyond helpful my son does not like anyone touching his hair nor even me his mom so at first he had a freak out but she recommended we put some show on for him on my phone and it worked he sang and the lady sang to him too and it helped so much!! I thank god for these lady’s ❤️❤️

Wonderful place for my 2yr old boy to get his hair cut

I took my kid for hair cut here today.Haircut was poor, and they way treated us bad.They allowed few people they know skip the line and when we asked they said they called though we were right there no one called.Moreover, haircut was not good for money, the lady just skimmed and completed in less than 5 minutes.

West haircut place for kids, not good, they don’t even care the line or name list, they showed discrimination and allowed people of their choice and hair cut is not worth what they charge

So I took both of my toddler here for a hair cut this lady was nice the place looked fun but the hair cut was very very bad I almost cried when I got home :/ pls don’t take ur kids here they over charge for 2 and 4 years old

Amazing place for getting your toddlers haircut without a fuss.

The shop is kids friendly. They know how to get children to like the place and keep them engaged while they get a hair cut. The lady did a pretty good job of cutting my 2 yo hair. She made sure to check with me before cutting every bit of my daughters hair and did a pretty good job too.

Sandy did a great job, I showed her a picture and she said she doesnt have the right tools for the specific haircut for my four year old but she managed to do a great job!

Really like this place, the staff is really patient with the kids. They have all different cars at each station to choose. Plus they add a cute ribbon in my daughters hair when they finish.

Best kids barber I’ve found so far in the bay area. They are very quick (usually done in 10min) while still having great quality. They do well with kids who do not like haircuts. They do not take appoint so get on the waiting list ASAP and be prepared to wait around 30mins. They do have a play area inside for the kids. Prices are average from what I’ve seen around $25 per cut.

Little Scissors is staffed by people who really love being with children. Thats clear by the way they interact with the kids and get most of them to put up with a haircut without too much fuss. This is amazing to me since even I really dont enjoy getting a haircut and I know it must be extremely annoying to a toddler. Im also very impressed with the quality of the haircuts given the circumstances with squirmy little kids.

My 4.5 and 3 year old have both gone here for haircuts since they were born and I have yet to have a bad experience. They have a play area and a Tv for the kids! Plus lots of different haircut chair styles to choose from. Owner and staff are always friendly and good with cranky kids, ask me how I know, lol.

Horrible Place... Waste of $18. The receptionist is rude. After a shabby hair cut they gave my son in literally 3 mins. He was shouting at me for not giving a tip. The kids love to go there to sit on toy cars.. which is not worth the wait time of 1.5 hour and $$. Had to give a star for the sake of posting it. This place is over rated for no reason.

We were regular customers of little scissors in Fremont for my toddler until we moved away. Great place for a child friendly hair cut thats affordable. I used to pay 20 including tip. Jessi the owner was able to handle my fussy kid without blinking an eye. She was patient, also quick which meant the torture was over faster. However please avoid her assistant, who is rude and unprofessional. Jessi, who is also the owner is awesome.

Please avoid this place, these Chinese ladies are pretty rude and do not know to deal with babies. Recently we went for my 2 years old daughters hair cut and this non sense Chinese lady shouted my daughter. And said keep quite and go take your lollypop. I would suggest if you do not have patience to run the business in United State, just go back to your home. Do not forget you were a kid at some point and you should have kids in your family. Just learn how to behave with your customers before doing any Job.If the Owner of this business is reading my review, I would urge you to take necessary action.

Great place for kids haircut. I have been going here since more than a year. They are very good with all types of kids (including the ones who hate getting a haircut).

The reception man was very rude. He took a toy out of my childs hand when she fell with it instead of making sure she was fine he yelled at her. The wait was really long and they dont have appointments only walk ins. I walked out because he wanted to pick on my kid when all the other kids were doing the same. I waited 30 min and as i walked out he called me back i just walked away because i will not do business with a person who is rude to a 3 year old when he works in a place that deals with kids. Never coming here again.

I give it 1 stars because they have the proper setting to make any child feel like they are in a great place. However my sons haircut was pretty crappy and so uneven!! Definitely not worth the 17 dollar price, $16 base price + $1 for card usage. I kept asking the lady shorter but she kept insisting, NO long momma I let it be becuase my son starting getting fussy. She didnt even bother making it look good. As soon as I paid she was gone. What a shame! I feel disappointed, even more becuase I tipped her. Definitely NEVER going back!

The Good:The seats for toddlers are pretty fun (cars mounted off the ground) and the staff was preofficent and tolerant of all the cranky kids. The waiting room had lots of things to keep toddlers busy, as well.The Bad: They had rewards for kids. But, only candy.The Ugly: Everything was pretty dirty. The plastic climbing gym looked like it hadnt been so much as wiped-off in months (maybe years). The chairs (vehicles) were covered in hair, dirty fingerprints, and in one case (that I accidentally encountered) something sticky. B.Y.O.W(ipes)

We just had our 16 month olds first haircut here at Little Scissors. I cant say enough good things about the wonderful experience we had there, being new parents and not having done this before. The salon is very cute, with lots of toys, a playhouse and playset with slide. The movie Frozen was playing on a huge 65+ TV at kids eye level in the back area with even more toys for their enjoyment. There are quite a few different barber chairs for ages 6 months (yellow volkswagen in pic) to a big kids motorcycle! Jessy was great with our little one, introducing him to the noisy buzzer and shiny scissors! Highly recommended!
