I have been seeing Dr. Katz for years. He and his staff are incredibly kind, caring and knowledgeable. He is the only person I would trust with my medical care. He listens and is happy to have patients advocate for themselves. Michelle, the nurse manager, is a delight to see and speak with. She has a wealth of knowledge about MS.

Dr. Katz is an amazing doctor. He is caring, understanding, and has a great “bed side” manor. Dr Katz was upset that I ended up with Trigeminal Neuralgia due to Multiple Sclerosis. Those of us being treated by Dr. Katz, because of MS, are lucky because his office is in the MS center, at Centra State Hospital.

Having MS for 17 years I turned to this Facility for Maintenance for my MS and was fired due to the Prescriptions I take and my unwillingness to try a DMT (Disease Modifying Treatment) for which I had tried 3 ..Dr. Katz does not accept new patients and the other Doctor Caren Marks calls my 3 meds NOT MS Approved medications .. I was just cut off due to her opinion of what an MS Approved Medication is ..Anyone with MS knows that we are our best advocates , I am 60 now and not one Doctor seems to get that we do have Chronic Pain and other ailments to include Fatigue especially if we are Stressed ..They not only Added more Stress to my life but my Advocate from the NMSS didnt understand why they were refusing to Treat .. The NMSS cannot make them Treat but this Center does Raise money in their Name and yet make decisions for Older Patients based on their Opinion of What constitutes Pain Management and what does not ..We must Write to the NMSS and demand justice as they are the local MS Center here near Ocean and Monmouth ...
