Was a great time, it was our first time throwing and now it wont be our last. Its like weaponized bowling (what more could a guy want?!)! Easier them expected with the 2 hand axes. And multiple games to choose from. Thanks for the great 2 yr anniversary date. Something different and hilariously fun!

Our school faculty and staff has a blast throwing axes. The coaches were helpful in showing us the ropes.

My son had his seventeenth birthday here and had an awesome time. He decided he wanted it to be just him and his friends and the staff made it super easy setting it up. Great responsive staff and affordable clean fun. I will definitely be back.

Thoroughly enjoyed our hour block of time. Took a full game to get the throwing motions down but 4 of us played 5 games. It was lots of fun and the staff was amazing.Will definitely be going back with friends.

Such a good time! The instructor took the time to explain some best techniques for axe throwing and once we got those down, it was a blast!

FXBG Axes was an amazing time. We went with our platoon for SPC day and they made it very easy to reserve their venue for that event. Not only that but everybody enjoyed the unique experience of getting to throw axes. They have amazing customer service and really help make our event special.

We rented the 2-lane axe trailer for my husbands birthday party this past Saturday and everyone loved it! Pre-party communication was great, set up was great even with our yard on an incline. Hope to rent again soon!

We had my sons 9th birthday party here & it was amazing!! Everyone from the kids to the grandparents enjoyed it! Jillian was so helpful! The owner was very responsive during the planning process. It was our families first time axe throwing & they are already planning a return trip! Lots of wonderful memories made!

Axe throwing was fun, like the different targets choice, friendly atmosphere.Only complaint, way to hot inside building especially since your doing a physical activity.Invest in some portable air conditioners!

Through axe throwing David and Krista have become not only amazing friends but mentors to me. Just by spending some time here you can tell the care and sweat equity that’s gone into this place. It’s perfect for any day or night out, affordable and staff is amazing.

Amazing experience! Took the whole family and everyone enjoyed it even my kids! 6&9 years old. My youngest was too little to do it but they had a kids version foe him to do which kept him entertained. My 9 year old was able to do it with no issues. We will be back!

Very crowded. Packed room. Full of little kids. People werent social distancing and wearing masks. Fun concept though. Just a bit overwhelming. The 2 staff members were nice.

I’ve been to a handful of axe throwing places around the east (NC, MD, and VA). I thought that this place was lackluster in comparison. The axes were extremely dull, the BYOB wasn’t clearly stated, and the wood wasn’t optimal for axe throwing. Moreover, it was extremely crowded when we went. I know there is some hype around digital targets but the physical quality was lacking in terms of raw resources.

Great family fun. Rules are simple. No amenities so dont expect any. But my family had a blast because we made it a competition!

This was something different and fun that the family could do. They are in a warehouse so it was a little hot (went during the summer), so youll want to dress comfortably and bring something to drink. The games are set up for a total of 6 ppl (3 per team) or you can just throw. I wouldnt suggest more than 6 ppl unless you get two targets because you only get an hour. The staff was really helpful and courteous, they played music, and we had a good time.

We were looking for options for a 15 yr old birthday party and had really enjoyed FBXG Axes on site so we decided to book the travel trailer. The trailer was awesome and all our guests were given not only safety tips but quick technique lessons before throwing. Everyone had a blast and it really made the birthday boys day when he was taught trick throws and did really well with them. We appreciate the professionalism and care that was given to our special event. We love FBXG Axes and will be scheduling more fun soon! Absolutely recommend!

Such an AWESOME place - super affordable PLUS military and first responder discounts is an added BONUS! The staff are super friendly and helpful as well, they give you great pointers on how to throw the axes, games to play AND trick throws. Im definitely going to be coming back next time in town.

We came in this evening and were greeted by Derian. He explained the rules and showed us how to throw the axes. Great personality! Very interactive with everyone who came in. We had a great time as an office function. Would recommend to anyone!! Can’t wait to go back with family, friends, and even office staff again.

What a great deal. 20 bucks for an hour of axe throwing. It’s so much fun and a great way to spend a evening and do something different. The staff is very informative and friendly. You won’t be disappointed.

We went for the first time today for a day date. I made the reservation through the website and received a quick response. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Since this was our first time they offered suggestions to help, and later showed us some trick throws. They were great at making us feel comfortable. We even decided to stay for a second hour. Cant wait to go back!

Great evening out at FXBG Axes. 3 couples rolled out and we all had a blast. Pretty neat set up. Good way to kill an hour. Looking forward to going back. Its just a warehouse bay set up to toss axes and have fun. Noting fancy. Just a simple good time. At the moment (Jan 2021) they do not have a liquor license, likely a good call. If you want to bring food they are cool with it. They have picnic tables set up by the axe bays. Check it out!

A great small location to throw axes with friends, family, or on a date. There are four stalls with two sides for each. If it’s your first time, the personnel onsite will walk you through the safety and rules, as well as how to throw axes. You’ll have several sets of axes and two sizes to throw with depending on your comfortability. The more scored the boards, the easier it will be for the axe to stick to the board. Since there’s no food provided on the premises, I’d recommend bringing some snacks or food and drinks to enjoy while your throwing axes. It’s truly a fun and great hour of throwing axes, whether for fun, a slight arm, shoulders, and back workout, or just to let some steam out. Only recommendation to the business is to sharpen the axes more often, some axes may be dull but still do the work. Great time!

Ive been to other axe throwing places, and this one is just ok. Its good for those who are doing it for the first time, or are too far from the bigger ones like in Baltimore or Raleigh. Most pictures had the area brightly lit, but this time around it was more blacklit, possibly to go with Halloween, but it wasnt best for my eyes or for throwing sharp objects.Youre kind of left to on your own to just throw while other places are more structured with coaching, team-building, etc. So less experienced throwers are stuck trying until it sticks or until a friend who has an idea of what they are doing steps in to help themselves.

Had a great time, only concern was the person working there was not wearing a mask.

Took my husband yesterday with a party of 8 for his birthday, and let me tell ya.... BEST TIME EVER!!!! It’s a great, friendly space to not only hang with family and friends but to throw some axes. Not to mention I found my new hidden talent! They play some pretty awesome music and on Saturdays they do glow in the dark axe throwing. We cannot wait to be back.

Great time throwing sharp metal at boards! Its challenging but once you get the distance and timing down, you can get into scoring for games!

We had the opportunity to throw axes and laugh when we missed and high five when we struck a bulls eye or just make it stick!This is a great chance to have team building fun in a controlled environment that everyone has to try at least once! If you’ve never been axe throwing you are in for a treat! Their instructors are awesome and they will have you hitting the target in just a few throws. So much fun to get a group together and see who can get the highest score. Great work out too!

My daughter and I went for ladies night. We had a great time. It’s a perfect way to relieve some of the work week stress. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Definitely make reservations if you can because they get busy.

It was very easy to book our company event. The owner was very responsive and quick to confirm everything. The instructor was helpful and was interactive the entire time our group was there. I would highly recommend for a company function.

This was my boyfriend and Is first time doing this and man was it a blast! David(I think) helped show us how things worked and let us have at it. I would highly recommend axe throwing and highly recommend this as the place to do it!

I had never thrown an axe before, but it was alot of fun. If you need help just ask they can give you tips. Its a small place, with 6 lanes. Great with a group or just 2 people.

Not what I was expecting as a first timer, but had fun none the less. My eldest daughter whooped my butt, and I threw axe apparently hard enough for it to come back at me...who knew. Family had a great time, staff was helpful & friendly. Just a little tight quartered for my liking, but still rated high.

Fun idea. Busy busy place. Its pretty dark inside which added to the glow of the target. Only one staff member trying to manage it all. Would go again for sure!

Rating 3/5 because I had a bad first experience but everyone there looked like they were having fun. There is room for improvement.1. Online Scheduling: I scheduled online for a time slot that, come to find out after the fact doesnt exist. They only schedule on the hour, so dont schedule for a time 15 min after the hour online, because it doesnt exist, according to the employee working the counter.2. Scheduling Confirmation: We were told by the employee working the counter that we were supposed to be contacted to confirm our reservation. This never happened.Its great that they were busy and doing well because I want local business to succeed. However, leaving potential customers high and dry on a Saturday evening isnt good. Trying reschedule fun things to do late on a Saturday in Fredericksburg is hard to do.Look forward to potentially joining in on the fun in the future.

Had a fun time! There are 8 lanes set up for throwing axes and hatchets. It doesn’t take long to get the hang of it, about 10-15 minutes of practicing and we were hitting the boards quite regularly. Got a few bullseyes. A fun way to spend some time and release some energy.

Was there for a wounded warrior project event. The gal working was awesome and very helpful. Could use more parking, but no biggie

Had an appointment scheduled and not one employee showed up to the place even after waiting past our appointment time. They were posting on social media at the time of our appointment and upon commenting asking why they weren’t, there they deleted our comment. Definitely wouldn’t recommend, very unprofessional for a small business.

I hate to leave bad reviews BUT... after having been to other axe throwing places this one was very disappointing. The area is very small with not a lot of room to really throw. We were really struggling with getting our axes to stick and received minimal instruction or help after asking for tips from the gentleman working, he was more worried about his phone. Wish this place was more like the others who make things more fun.
