Three years ago, my husband fell on the ice and shattered his elbow. Dr. Holzknecht was the surgeon who repaired it. We were very pleased. I recently had a knee replacement and once again, we are very pleased with his work. Dr. Holzknecht is very knowledgable. If anyone needs a good orthopedic doctor, we highly recommend him.

I fractured my ankle last November and Dr. Holzknecht was the orthopedic surgeon who repaired the fracture. I cannot commend him enough because his knowledge and expertise made for a painless and quick recovery. I also must commend the Central Virginia Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine organization. The competence of the staff make it a stellar practice.

Well I’m a passed patient. I don’t blame the doctor for this issue. I’ve had pain in my left ankle for the last 2 days. So today I tried to call the Stafford office and got kicked out. So later I called the Fredericksburg office and again the same thing. So I had to drive to the office in Stafford. Luckily I live close to that office. When I explained to the lady at the front door. She said that they are very busy on Monday’s. While I was there I heard no phone calls coming in.It’s very disappointing to know that as a patient of this office that in the future my phone calls may not answered because you pick and choose when you want to answer the phone.I suggest that may hire more help on Monday.

After shattering my ankle bones I wasnt sure whether I would be able to walk normal again. Dr Holzknecht did a magnificent job operating on my ankle. He and his office personnel were so helpful with helping me set up appt., setting up the surgery and making feel comfortable that everything would be ok. I have had very little pain and I am recovering ahead of schedule. I highly recommend Dr Holzknecht and his staff at the Central VA Orthopedic & Sports Medicine. They are very caring to your needs.

Great doctor and staff. So far wait time is good . All staff is very helpful and concerned about your health and progress.

The doctor was fabulous surgery went well nice to talk to get good feed back and did an excellent job my knee replacement feels great

Our son had surgery on both shoulders due to a sports injury. Dr. Holzknecht is an excellent surgeon and showed interest in our sons life (good doctor/patient relationship). He clearly explained the options we had and the surgergies. He is a kind doctor, not brusque and arrogant as many often are.

I seen Dr. Philip Holzknecht in Stafford office and could not believe how he treated my injury. He cut opened up the soft cast from the hospital and when he was done, he bandaged the soft cast with an ace bandage. I had a broken bone and he didnt treat it with any protection. The 1 visit bill was outrageous. He needs to be taken off the list at Stafford hospital. Very disappointed in every aspect of the visit.
