I’ve been a patient of Dr. Swing’s for a year a half now. The amount of trouble I’ve gone through is not worth it. I’m mentally unwell, and I’ve been coming here to get better. However, they’ve done less for my health than you’d think. The nursing and psychiatry staff are honestly terrible. Every single time I have an appointment to see Dr. Swing to get new medication or get a refill, it takes well over a month to send over the request to my pharmacy when it’s supposed to be sent over the day of the appointment. I’m supposed to take medication twice daily and there have been multiple times throughout the point of me going here that I’ve gone months without that medication. Not to mention the fact that the medical services line never answers the phone, and refuses to call back. The office manager refuses to call back. The Quality Assurance manager refuses to call back. The doctor himself is very unprofessional and lacking in time management. There is no care or customer service from anything that this facility provides. I don’t know why someone would willingly join a profession to help people when that is the exact opposite of what you’re doing.

Dr. Hickman and Brittany Makufka are absolutely wonderful. If I could rate them higher than five stars I would.

Let me preface this by saying I never did schedule an appointment. This is because the nice girl on the phone informed me that their intake visit is not covered by insurance because the people who conduct it are not licensed. This sounded shady to me so I didnt bother getting quoted a price for this. If its something my insurance doesnt cover, it sounds like an unnecessary step to me. If I wanted to talk to someone who isnt licensed for counseling Id just talk to one of my friends for free!

A great place to help with mental health issues,or drug usage. It only works if you want it to.

Have been waiting for 2 1/2 hours in the parking lot, only one staff member has even remembered about the appointment/us (thank you, Cheri). For people who rely on this for their medication, this is absurdly unacceptable and we will be looking at other options even if it does break the bank. We got here at 8:45am and have not been able to leave yet and its now past 11:30am. Please consider fixing this issue, Im sure the patients here would greatly appreciate that.

The lady I talked to was just plain lazy. I asked her for a list of marriage counselors in the area and she told me I had to call my insurance company. I know they have a list because a week ago mywife called and they helped her.Now the lady says they cant. Smh good thing my wife and I are working it out inlkour own or else our marriage would be doomed

They have provided me wonderful psychiatric care when I needed it the most

They dont care about you or your needs No emergency appointments when needed

The patient’s are just a dollar sign to them, nothing more!
