This company is terrible!!! I was released from hospital with one tank of oxygen. Spoke to Roberts Home Medical at 1:22pm to confirm delivery. They said they would be there before 5:00PM. My temporary tank was nearing empty. Had to call the company FOUR times (there national number - they are not a local company, but a franchise). They did not show until 9:00PM!!! Totally unacceptable!!! Use anyone but them!

Horrible experience. Urgent equipment not delivered in time, poor customer service, phone calls not returned, phone calls cut off on their end, over billed, provided miss information about equipment. Definitely would not recommend this company.

Went to this Roberts Home Medical location expecting I could pick up oxygen tanks which I needed that day. Something I was used to doing at the Charlottesville, VA location. This location is in an office complex and does NOT have equipment on hand. I was told that this only houses one Roberts employee who has a small office in the building. He told me if I needed the tanks today I would have to go to Ashland, VA (40min drive one-way) to get them. Would have been great if it was posted online that you cannot get equipment there, but you cant call either because that directs you to the corporate offices out of state.

This place is horrible the location has about 8 different businesses in it with one receptionist for all the businesses. She did not know what I was talking about as far as the medical supplies. I have been trying to get a hospital bed and mattress for my mom for over 3 weeks close to a month now. No one ever calls me back I call at least 3 times a week no one knows what’s going on in that office. If you have any other medical supply Stores near you use them stay as far away from Roberts medical as you can!!!! I would have given them 0 stars if I could!!!!

Was told I couldnt send equipment back unless approved by Doctor. I couldnt keep equipment on my face when sleeping. I taped to my face and still wake up with it on side on face or on my forehead. Well I figured after paying couple months I wasnt going to pay for what I couldnt use. I knew if bill got high enough & I called for them to come get it they would. Sure enough they did. I paid half of what I owed but told them we will call it even but they say ok we will check & call you back. No calls except to collect rest of bill. I will not pay it! I said take me to court & we will talk to Judge period. I am not getting anywhere with them!

Terrible communication. By that, I mean none. Held my order for 6 weeks, billed my insurance, but never ONCE contacted me. Unbelievable how rude and uncaring they are.

I am really surprised about these reviews. My husband and I were very worried when he was sent here for his APAP after reading these reviews however his experience went very well. He was seen before his scheduled appointment. He was given a variety of masks to choose from. They demonstrated how to use the equipment and answered all questions. He was out in 20 minutes of being seen. People also seemed to complain about the call center which we also had no issue with. I followed the prompts to schedule his appoint and was assisted by a human, not a computer. They explained the insurance coverage and what we needed to pay prior to the delivery of the equipment which we made that payment over the phone. My only complaint is their automated service when they called us. It took two weeks before we realized who was calling us because the message does not leave a name of whom they are calling and why they are calling. Other than that they have been very pleasant and helpful.

Employees at the business are very good. Just wait until you need supplies. I keep getting phone calls from I guess their warehouse and have yet been able to understand one message due to the foreign language. Been trying to order supplies for a month and I can’t even communicate with their call center. Very frustrating to say the least. Looking elsewhere.

I had a great experience with Roberts Home Medical. Keep in mind this is not a store, you cannot just walk in and have them fill an order. They go through a process at their warehouse and the specialist here helps you with fitting, etc. You have to have an appointment. They were great with me, the specialist on site for fitting was extremely helpful.

Absolutely no customer service! Have called 6 or 8 times in three weeks to have 6 unused tanks and the main unit picked up and not even the courtesy of a return call. NO ONE ever answers the phone.

This place sucks! You have to make an appointment to pick up a single no speciality item. There are no signs to indicate that you are even in the right place. I am taking my business elsewhere and I suggest you do too.

Very poor customer service. They outsource to non English speakers. Bad idea. I have received items from them already opened. Try explaining that to a non English speaker. Go elsewhere if you can!!!!

This company is the ABSOLUTE WORST provider of any service I have EVER dealt with. They have failed to send a refund check for the previous 3 months for a refund that has been approved by their billings dept. They continually have no adequate explanation for delays, lack of communication, etc. They should be more careful...DO NO BUSINESS WITH Roberts Home Medical...!!!

I received an order in April that I originally had cancelled due to the poor customer service. So knowing that a bill would eventually arrive, I never used any of the products that they had sent me. In July 2019 I received an invoice for the products. Several phone calls to billing, sales and whoever else would listen to me, I still havent resolved this matter. All Im asking for is a return label for postage to send these products back, or credit my invoice to zero. This company has the worst customer service that Ive ever experienced. As stated in a previous post, if I could rate in the negatives I would. And to top this all off, Ive received 2 additional phone calls from them telling me that Im due for a reorder!! I

The person in charge of explaining CPAP machine powered through the presentation, did not answer questions clearly, and did not properly explain costs involved. Did not answer my questions very clearly. More interested in doing things quickly and getting signatures. On top of that, the customer service after I got the machine was terrible. They did not listen to me when I tried to explain things, double charged my credit card, and then bugged me for weeks after I returned the machine with texts saying I did not return the machine. None of this seemed to bother them when I explained it to them or their supervisors. They made excuses like “well our system receives a lot of returned devices”. Overall, a very disorganized and unprofessional business.

They are owned by a company in Pennsylvania that is the WORST company I have ever dealt with. They keep making me mail in my SD card for my C-pap machine, then lose the info, or 2 different people call from India about the same thing, or they make me jump thru hoops only to delete my order, etc etc etc. I am looking for another supplier...you should too!

They flat out lied about billing and costs to begin with. They also have a problem with placing orders for supplies saying I ordered them when I certainly did not. They are only a step above scammers.

I gave them a 1 because you can’t give a zero. As others have said, you can’t go in and talk to a human, the number you’re given is a call center in another country, and they’re very hard to understand.. I gave up when they asked me to mail them the SD card from my cpap machine. After I had difficulty in getting supplies, I suddenly received a call from an American (sorry, no other way to put it) and was able to place an order and received my supplies. Since then it’s been difficult. I’m looking for anyplace else to get future supplies.

After going thru a long laborious monologue on voice mail instructing me a punch this or that all the way up to 7 before getting a human who had to transfer me to the right department...and I am still on hold as I writeLOUSY system. Concern for customer not evident, argues problems, does not repair problems with equipment. While traveling within Virginia I had to purchase a broken part out of pocket because lack of interest when problem was reported. I was not unreachable, I was ignored.

The dr ordered equipment two months ago and I have not heard anything at all from them. Today I finally get on the phone and they claim they were waiting for the insurance info, I tell her that doesn’t add up because the insurance company already approved it, she responded with you have ———- insurance coverage I said yes then she runs the insurance and says they will call me today or tomorrow to deliver......Update: three days later no equipment. Like others stated you cant get ahold of a person if you try options that would apply to reaching someone. However, if you hit the sales option you get connected right away go figure. I have called my insurance company and let them know what is going on they are trying as well to get thisUpdate 2I have now waited a MONTH for a CPAP mask. This is ridiculous. Why do insurance companies do business with them? Which forces us to do business with them.Then I was given a script for a TENS unit, they told me to pay cash that they dont bill insurance for it. My insurance said to tell them that it was illegal for them to do that...after trying to get them to understand that... well I gave up and paid cash....

This company will lie to you about insurance coverage to trick you into ordering from them, trust me, it just happened to me! Two different representatives told me my insurance covered 100% of the cost of a cpap machine, then I got the actual bill.

Horrible customer service! local office unreachable by phone. corporate tells me they dont have a phone number either! told me to drop my SD card off but didnt tell me it was being mailed to another state just to download my compliance. I have no idea where my card is after being told Id have it back by Friday (its now Tuesday of the following week)

Ive been trying to get my wheelchair for a week and they had the wrong address, didnt call me and hasnt returned any of my calls. My husband is going ballistic and is going up to the office to try to get it. He cant leave me at home without it. Hes loosing time at work to care for me.
