Virginia Home Care Partners has been a true life saver for my parents and my family. Earlier this year, it became clear that my parents needed 24 hour care while we waited for them to be able to move into a Memory Care Unit. VHCP came highly recommended by a health care professional because they are dedicated to working with patients with dementia. From Day 1 they have been amazing to work with and such a tremendous relief to my parents and me. VHCP, both on site and on the administrative side, have a true calling for this work. They are incredibly caring and patient with clients who who are going through the most challenging stage of life. The support I received was amazing- I was able to reach a member of their staff, not just a call center, 24/7, they facilitated care partners to attend doctors appointments, trips to the ER; they worked with me on every aspect of caring for my parents when I could not be there...honestly, anything that came up, VHCP dealt with in a calm, caring and professional manner. One example is when one of the managers took the time to go Home Depot to buy a ramp and then installed it himself to help my parents navigate in and out of the house more easily. I honestly would not have survived the past seven months without VHCP. I recommend this agency without any hesitation!

All of the Care Partners did an amazing job caring for Jane. Making sure she was comfortable, cared for, and her health was a priority. Excellent communication by the team and office staff with her children and each other. Each aide brought something special to Janes care. Their balance of compassion and professionalism is a 10.

We have been extremely happy with the professionals we teamed with, to care for an aging parent. The Care Partners have been outstanding in all areas. We needed all aspects of care, for a limited mobility parent. The Care givers, with VHCP, are well trained, caring and attentive. The hygiene care along with nutrition assistance and companionship provided by the Care Partners have worked very well for us. Our Care Partners are special people. They have allowed us to keep an aging parent in their home, while providing us the important help we needed, to care for that parent.Virginia Home Care Partners has been easy and transparent to work with. After my grandfather passed away last summer, my family had to quickly find a daytime caregiver for my ninety-year-old grandmother who suffers from dementia. My aunt had had bad experiences with caregivers for her mother, so we were very hesitant to hire a service, but were left with few options. Now, over a year later, we could not be happier with our decision to hire Virginia Home Care Partners. The care partners who stay with my grandmother during the day have become her friends, and she looks forward to seeing them. She even asks us at dinner each evening whos coming to see her the next day. Since we started using VHCP, my grandmother has become more mobile and happy, since she is taken out into town nearly daily to go on an adventure (to the grocery store, nail salon, etc.) with her friends. The care partners are very trustworthy and helpful. We come home to extremely thorough notes each evening, so we never have to guess how my grandmothers day went, how much she ate, how shes been feeling, etc. These notes are also passed to each other, so even though we have different care partners during the week, there is no lack of continuity day to day. I cannot recommend VHCP enough. Many of the care partners have become like family to us. They are such an incredible blessing.

I am so glad I found this agency while living in Stafford. They provided excellent quality of care to my elderly grandmother. They were dependable and always let me know well in advance that they could provide caregivers for her. This enabled me to plan outings, knowing that I knew they would always be there for her and for me.

VHCP has exceptional caregivers. My mother has needed just help grocery shopping every two weeks but has been delighted with every single person. It gives great peace of mind to know that she has an established relationship with VHCP and will be able to increase services as she needs them!

I can not say enough great things about vhcp. they have been helping my father and his wife for 3 years now. when they first started my father had mild dementia and his wife had moderate dementia at least. my father is not the easiest to get along with and did not want to let go of any control over anything. after about a year my step mom was bed ridden. the girls worked with him and me to little by little let them do more for them. he wouldnt let them use the cook top or the oven. they made it work with just using the microwave. my step mom never once got a bed sore the entire 2 years she was bed ridden. one of the girls would read to her. they would put cartoons on the tv because she liked the bright colors I guess. even when she no longer spoke they always treated her like a person. they have worked with us on schedule changes, a month for my dad in rehab and a move to an assisted living/nursing home facility. even when my dad was in the hospital a couple of the care partners came to visit him. they are still with my dad at a facility for personal service and I have peace of mind that I can still work and he is well taken care of when I cant be there and keep me informed on things going on. my step mom just passed and they were there every step of her journey. vhcp was recommended to me by a friend. I am so blessed to have them. thank you so much Peter, Karen, Katie, Jessica and all the care partners! you are truly amazing and have given me so much support and encouragement when I had no clue what I was doing. bless you!

VHCP has been a big help in dealing with my wife who has both ALS/Lou Gehrigs disease and dementia. VHCP was recommended by another family who had a ALS member. If you do not have long term insurance the service can be expensive.if used daily as I have been.

Great assisted living and everything is done PROPERLY!
