Im an aide for my uncle and began receiving consumer directed services in 2016. Their process is organized and the nurse visits always go well. There was only one time when our nurse didnt visit without notifying us. The admin seemed to handle the situation professionally and has been working well with us since, so we dont plan on switching agencies.

My autistic grand daughter was being watched by a lady they hired. She ended up isolating her mom and me from my grand daughter and when we complained about this employee, they wouldnt listen.We suspected the lady was abusing my grand daughter so my daughter had to literally take her out of the county for her safety to get away from this lady. She literally wouldnt let me see my own grand daughter and there were many overnights at her house. I am soooo glad we no longer have anything to do with this home healthcare and the employee that was literally trying to take my grand daughter. She literally started blackmailing both me and my daughter. My grand came home with bruises, saying her hair was pulled and much more. very scary. stay far away. I do not wish this on any family. This lady needs to be locked up. She is also part of the school system in spotsylvania so people tend to take her word as truth. she is very unstable and abusive. please stay away for your childrens sake at least.

My Father is 84 and has Parkinson disease; he used to live in a facility that treated him poorly but we didnt think we could afford to place him in a better facility and my home had to many hazards. I have worked with some resource centers that were just to expensive in offering their services and the free info they gave me was not helpful. Ive tried 2 home health agencies to work with him in his facility to make sure they took care of him well and their care attendants just mistreated him as well. My cousin told me about Surpassion and explained to me that they helped her 7 year old autistic son get waivers but that they also specialized in personal care and advocacy. I was very skeptic having heard this about other agencies and not getting any help, however, I didnt have any other options and didnt think things could get any worse. Surpassion treated my father like he was their own and did everything in their power to help me find a good living facility for him and helped me find resources to be able to afford it. He has 2 PCAs that work with him on a daily basis and every time I go visit him he has a smile on his face that I havent seen since I was a child. Thank you so much for caring for my father, I thought he was nearing the end being so miserable and I feel like you literally saved his life.
