Several issues bother me. 1. Having to be there fifteen minutes early and then having to sit and wait usually fifteen to thirty minutes. 2. Having to have only one procedure discussed at a time. I feel that it is a nuisance to both the doctor and the patient.

This morning, I had mono vision lasik with Dr. Falkenberg. The office staff and assistants were all very professional, friendly and helpful. During the surgery, Dr Falkenberg explained what he was doing each step of the procedure. I would highly recommend Dr. Falkenberg for lasik. I am only eight hours after surgery and my results are amazing and from what I understand they continue to improve!

Dr Hudson has been a vigilant advocate to correct and preserve my eyesight for the last 10+ years. He is a highly skilled surgeon who successfully restored my vision through somewhat risky cataract surgery. Having a family history of detached retinas, macular degeneration and glaucoma, I was skeptical of a path forward. However, his mindful demeanor, technology-driven approaches and reputation for being one of the best eye doctors in Fredericksburg, was all I needed to trust his assessment and skilled approach. I had the best eye doctors growing up in Massachusetts and was pleasantly surprised to find the best eye doctors in Stafford County Virginia.

I was happy that it was fast but was a little disappointed at the age of their equipment. I scheduled and specifically asked for an Ophthalmologist even after arriving and the assistant was very nice but I learned in the end, she was not an ophthalmologist and felt I was misled. I also felt as if I was whisked through an assembly line.

Very efficient and organized medical center. I highly recommend it for eye care treatment.

I was referred by my eye doctor to this practice for emergency surgery without consultation. However upon the appointment being made, they treated it as a consult and collected the $40 copay. Consequently I was scheduled for surgery for 4 days later (another $40 copay). Upon my arrival it appeared that they had no professionalism within the office staff as I was told by a staff member that walked in oh yeah hes going to cut that out. During my surgery, multiple people were allowed in and observe and provided various commentary without my consent. Following my surgery the prescription that was sent to my pharmacy was incorrect and I was not able to fill it because nobody would answer the phone at this office. I would recommend taking your medical issues elsewhere.

Just not enough good to give it more than a 1-star review.For both my wife and I, we made our appointments for the Stafford office and they booked us for the Fredericksburg office instead, but didnt tell us until later. For my wifes appointment, they told her the day before that her appt would only be for contact fitting and not a new prescription, even though she had scheduled for both. Was told it would be two months before she could have an exam for a prescription done. This after waiting more than a month for this appountment. NOT acceptable.For myself, I waited more than an hour after my original appt time before I was seen, then they rushed through the exam. For my dilation, they did the exam immediately after dilation instead of waiting for the full dilation effect. Entire retinopothy exam was maybe 3 minutes.Do yourselves a favor and go somewhere else until and unless they get this mess sorted out. I certainly wont be back.

Scheduled appointments are overbooked creating long wait times. On line and mobile appointment notifications are excessive (around 6 reminders through different media). Reception service was uninviting.Dr. Hayes was exemplary! The technician and Dr. Hayes provided excellent services.I would definitely return if they could fix the scheduling.

I was taken in after about a half hour wait. I was there for cataract surgery consult. Once I was in the back, things rolled right along. The staff is pleasant, makes you feel comfortable, is extremely thorough, explains things clearly, and welcomes questions. He performed flawless cataract surgery for me in 2015 and a follow-up procedure last year. I see better than I ever have. Had a bit of a wait...First time here. I really liked my eye doctor. I believe it was Dr. Hayes. She told me one thing about my eyes that no eye doctor ever told me... map, dot, fingerprint (eye dystrophy) and it affects my vision with blurry vision..it happens in my left eye the most. Dr Falkenburg performed my lasik approximately 10 years ago and it has enhanced my life ever since. Excellent service and well run operation

Went in for an irritation in one eye, after waiting over an hour in nearly empty waiting room I was called back. Another 30 mins waiting in exam room. Determined I might have an infection in my eye and given script for Zylet, 10ml, which is $330. I tried to look up costs before I left there but no signal in exam room. So I ask them to print out script and no one knew how to do that plus a comment was made by the nurse that “you won’t get credit for it unless it goes through the on line system” to the doctor. Hmmm. Today I called back for an alternate affordable Rx and they said “oh we have samples, I’ll put several in a bag for you at front desk” so another 40 min drive one way to do what they could have done the first time. They gave me two 1ml tiny bottles, not several, maybe 6-8 drops in each if that. 10 days 4x day = Short! Maybe I look wealthy but I’m not.

Then entire staff at SIEHT is friendly and welcoming, while being professional and efficient at the same time. They provide thorough and complete eye exams and are good at answering questions and giving explanations.I have complete confidence and trust in Dr. Steven Hudson; he performed my cataract surgery, provided excellent aftercare, and always gives a good examination. I feel he is always ready and willing to take the time needed to answer questions and provide information.I would trust my vision to no other practice.

I have no complaints about the actual services I have received at this location. Dr. Falkenberg is always prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. I do feel the lobby area could use some changes to make it more Covid appropriate. The day I was there, when three doctors were in the office, there was a continous line that contained both arrivals and patients who had completed their appointments and were waiting to hand in paperwork and leave or set up new appointments. People coming in and those leaving had to find a way to avoid the line as best they could. This situation never got better. I dont know what the solution is, but something needs to change. Perhaps a separate exit where those leaving could take care of business and then leave without lingering in the lobby.
