I recently had a girls weekend getaway at Klokker Haus and had an absolutely amazing time! The home is new construction farmhouse and absolutely immaculate! We LOVED being able to feed the chickens and collect fresh eggs. The hot tub was so clean and relaxing. The home had everything we needed and was 5 minutes from town! We will definitely be back!

Wow! Where to start? We had an amazing time staying at Sweet Escape. We live overseas and decided to rent a house in Fredericksburg to host our friends and families while we were back home in TX for a couple of weeks. We did a lot of searching and are so glad that we found this place! This house had every amenity we could have asked for and it was perfect for hosting our family and friends. We were in the beautiful pool every day and used the huge hot tub every night!! My husband got to teach the nieces and nephew to play pool on the great pool table. In the evenings if we weren’t in the hot tub we were at the fire pit making smores or just catching up over a glass of wine. The kitchen has an amazing professional gas stove and was a lot of fun to cook on. My family all want to remodel their kitchens with that awesome farm sink too! ;)On top of that, the location is really great. It’s an easy 15 minute walk to Hondos which we did at least 3 times because the ribs are amazing and the live music was so nice.Thank you Jill for all your help and the little extras that made for a perfect couple of weeks. We love your home and can’t wait to come back!

My experience with Sweet Escape was incredible.I needed a place large enough to fit all of my groomsmen and myself and we were lucky enough to snag this incredible house (it’s almost always booked!) Sweet Escape is in a super walkable part of town and because of how close it was to the restaurants/coffee shops, we didn’t even need to really use our cars once we were there.The booking process was simple and Jill (owner) communicated with us every step of the way. A lot of AirBnB owners are skeptical of groups our size and age; however, Jill was very hospitable to our large group and effectively communicated with us from initial booking to check out.The house itself is gorgeous with a court yard, backyard pool, sitting, dining, game and living rooms and several separate sleeping rooms. The kitchen was well stocked with anything we would have needed to cook with and despite all the people we had, we never felt cramped the entire time.Everyone in my group was very happy with the experience and we will be booking this place again if we come with a large group.Cannot thank Jill enough for the experience or recommend this place more.

We recently stayed at Klokker Haus and had an amazing stay. The property was fabulous and the owners couldnt have been any more welcoming and friendly! Our kids enjoyed feeding the chickens and cows as well as naming the new baby chicks. The hot tub, firepit and corn hole were all great for spending time outside. The location is great as well as it is very close to downtown but quieter as it is on a country road. Absolutely recommend this property!
