All I have to say is that Julianna is the best to do it! After moving to the area in January, I was nervous to try to find a new wax tech for my Brazilian, because my previous one was a gem. During my search, I stumbled upon this European Wax Center (about a 30 min commute - but so worth it) and after going through the reviews, I saw multiple positive reviews for Julianna so I decided to book with her. Best decision Ive ever made. She is always ready on time and really prioritizes quick and efficient work. The service is always worth the money and she never misses. Its also super easy to hold a conversation with her, which makes the time fly by. Ive already referred others to her and I would refer anyone else in a heartbeat. If youre not booking with Julianna, youre missing out.

I absolutely love European Wax Center! They are always so clean and professional. I love how they always send out little reminders for upcoming appointments and even when you have to cancel or change your appointment, they do their best to accommodate your schedule. I have to say I’ve had a few different esthetician’s but Julianna is the best!! She is quick and easy and she always make meFeel comfortable. I would highly recommend this place!

I have gone to EWC for the first time two months ago. This was my first time getting waxed ..it wasn’t that bad pain wise but I did notice I still had hair left. I went back about a month and a half later for my second wax this time it was so much more painful I left sore ..it even hurt washing those parts in the shower. I notice once again not all of my hair is gone hence the reason it seems my hair is growing back just as fast as if I were to shave. I understand they are trained to “speed” wax customers but do it effectively. I will not be returning.

The business owner was the front desk person my third time to go there and was rude. She clearly doesn’t care to keep customers. Or maybe she thinks she has enough to keep her business going. That she didn’t care to help me.I was waiting to get my eyebrows done and I over heard the lady at the desk talking about memberships to save money to another customer.I made a comment stating oh that’s so cool! I never knew y’all had this. Is this new?After my appointment I was about to sign up for the unlimited pass for my underarms and then a pass for my eyebrows. I said cool three free if I sign up. She said that’s first time guest only. I said well no one offered me this when I came for my first time. I asked to speak with the manager so maybe they could assist. The lady at the desk responded with, “I’m the owner and it’s not your first time so you can’t get that offer. And that all customers are offered the membership package on their first time visit.” I informed her that yes I got my first wax free, but wasn’t offered any membership packages.The owner clearly doesn’t think her employees can forget to offer something to guest. I was so excited about the package deal too. Now I’m just disappointed because the employees that do the waxing are awesome.I literally paid and said please go ahead and cancel all of my future appointments I’m going to take my business elsewhere. She said ok and let me leave.If you want better customer service go some place else.

The first time i made an appointment they took my number down wrong so when i came in they told me they had to reschedule me. The second time they said i made it exactly at the 8 minute grace period and i had to make it before the 8 minute grace period. Obviously they don’t want my business so I’m not coming back here.

Came in for a full Brazilian wax. Customer service was excellent, extremely attentive and informative. Got matched with with Bailey as my esthetician. She was FANTASTIC, super sweet and extremely patient, made the process that much easier. Definitely would recommend visiting the frederick European Wax Center.

I was a new client here today and I drove an hour for my appointment just to find out they cancelled it. Apparently if you don’t respond to their text message with a “yes” to confirm your appointment they give it away. Kinda hard to respond when they send it the day of the appointment when I’m at work all day and 1. Don’t get a second to look at my phone and 2. Have NO IDEA they can just cancel an appointment that you scheduled as a new client. I can understand if I’m an established client and know this rule they have but not if I’m a brand new client and have no idea I have to confirm my appointment or else they give it away. That’s just wrong. And on top of it when I explained I lived an hour away there was no apology or any sympathy shown. She just tried to schedule me for another appointment. I will take my business elsewhere.

Everyone is friendly and welcoming, the facilities are clean, and the waxers are professional and make you feel comfortable. I see Asya for waxing and she really is fantastic. I would recommend her to anyone.

I arrived for my appointment this morning however it was cancelled without notice after I received an email confirmation. Within the email confirmation I wasnt notified of any cancellation policy as it pertains to confirming a text message. They were also unable to take me during my schedule time.Allegedly they only send text confirmations and cancellations however they confirm via email. Im just rather confused and frustrated I made this appointment two weeks ago and to be unaccommodated due to their system failure is absolutely absurd.What an inconvenience!!Please call to confirm your appointment the morning of.

I have been a customer of EWC for years for my eyebrows and loved the consistency and attention to detail at every single location. I visited the Frederick location while visiting my parents and was very specific about not touching the shape of the brows and just cleaning up the stray hairs. Imagine my surprise when I get to the car and see that one brow is 1CM shorter than the other. I called in that evening and was asked to come back in so it could be the fixed. How can one fix missing brow that took years to grow back? Wax the other one off too? I have still not received a call back from a manager but I’m not really sure what can even be done. If you make a mistake, own up to it in the moment. Don’t hope that I won’t notice 1/3 of my brow is missing. I am disgusted by the behavior of all of the staff at this location and would recommend you stay very far away. The olney location is fantastic and will be my go-to when I am in Md.

If youre going to EWC in Frederick, you HAVE to request Asya, who is not only sweet but fun and always has great conversation! Her station is always clean and she manages to sanitize the bed, countertops, etc. before and after my service while still holding our conversation!She does such a great job to the point when were finished, I couldnt even tell I was getting a wax! I would recommend Asya to anyone in the surrounding area for all their waxing needs!

Today I was disappointed by the lack of customer satisfaction. I have been going to European Wax Center for over a year and I visit different locations, mainly the Frederick one bc I run a lot of my errands in the area. Today i had made a back to back appointments for my under arms to be waxed and a full Brazilian. My two appointments were scheduled from 1045-1115 for my Brazilian and 1115-1130 for underarms. Now I take fault in arriving late. I arrived at 1057 beyond their 9minute late policy so I was asked to remove a wax service for the essence of time. So I removed my underarm wax my Brazilian wax was completed by 1115 so in my opinion since the time was already allotted for my waxes it would have been kind for the wax technician to kindly make the exception and agree to wax my underarms as well. Instead I was prompted to rebook for later that day at their earliest spot which was 430. So I would leave the center early just to return later. I did still tip my tech and treated her kindly, I was just turned off at the fact that I did not receive the same kindness in return.

Everyone I have met there has been very nice, Asja is FANTASTIC at what she does!!

This is my 3rd time visiting EWC. My 1st 2 experiences were with Aanchal and she was very reassuring and professional. She did a great job, there wasnt much pain and she explained everything well. She was booked up this time so I saw someone else (cant remember her name) assuming that they all had relatively similar training. This time it was SO PAINFUL. She would yank each strip 3-4 times causing more pain. The wax was extremely hot, way hotter than before. She didnt apply pressure after removing the strip. And to top it all off, I still had wax pieces on me when I returned home. Talk about a bad experience. I gave 3 stars because Aanchal deserved it but if I was rating only my last trip it would be 1 star.

I have had my eyebrows arched several times by different waxers. They did a good job listening to my needs and explaining to me how their blue wax works . I recently started doing my legs but initially at another center . I would highly recommend them and they do sell great products for your hair removal needs .Nicole is very professional and fast with waxing without any noticeable discomfort . Thanks again ladies!

Im tired of these specialists not knowing how to properly wax eye brows for African Americans. Ive gone multiple times trying different people and the only person to get it right is no longer with the company. Id rather my time not be wasted nor money if you cant do it. Now Im stuck with messed up eyebrows for the next month or so until (hopefully) the hair grows back. The same can be said for the bikini waxing. I had a terrible experience and Ill never go back.

I cant imagine getting wax services anywhere else. The hard wax they use is so easy. Ive been to 3 different EW locations. They are always consistent in their services. Its clean and fast.

So disappointing... I scheduled my leg wax after seeing your first wax is free (as advertised everywhere) even though there was so specification on if this was for all services I figured i may need to pay full price since legs is more expensive. I ended up being told I had to pay full price after my wax... not before even though the receptionist knew it was my first visit. That would be fine if I received even decent waxing. I left with hair still all over my legs, several patches completely missed, wax still on my legs in spots, and a terrible rash due to no treatment or care taken before or after the wax. After she finished she told me to rub the lotion in myself. Wax specialist was nice and personable but really just didn’t properly wax me. When I called back after getting home and seeing my legs still had hair all over and requested a refund or credit I was told there was nothing they could do for me except give constructive criticism. Horrible customer service and such a disappointing leg wax after making an appt for a first time free wax visit. :(

I had a great experience with Julianna, it was my first time and I was terrified thinking about the pain for getting the Brazilian wax, Julianna took her time and explained the whole process and made me feel very comfortable. I will for sure be back and I’m thankful everyone was very nice and professional.

I tried a few salaons in my area (Gettysburg, PA) and had terrible experiences. I went to EWC in Nashville, TN every 4 weeks when I lived there and decided to find one in the area. Its a 45 min drive but worth every minute. Clean, professional, fast and did an amazing job with barely any pain. Prices are reasonable and far less than any salon. Technician was super knowledgeable and gave me the best wax Ive ever had. Ill be booking here with her every 4 weeks indefinitely.

I saw Nikki. She did a great job, was very professional and knowledgeable. I have had many brazilian waxes over the years and I would definitely recommend her. My complaint is the pricing. It was great to get 50% off my first wax, but when she was almost finished wax, I asked about the hair on my inner thighs that she hadnt gotten, she told me she was only allowed to go out 2 and to do my inner thighs it would be an additional $17! Never have I had to pay extra for my thigh during a bazillion wax. Talk about a way to nickle-and-dime a customer....It would have hardly taken any wax, as there wasnt much hair at all! I do not blame Nikki or this, but the company. There is no way I will be back to pay $71 for a complete wax job, when I can go elsewhere and they will wax the whole area, including my inner thighs and not charge me additional money! So be sure to ask about ALL costs and what is included and NOT included before you book an appointment!

Julianna was great! Cleanest Brazilian I’ve ever gotten. Didn’t have to go back and pluck when I got home!!!

When I write this post I come from a place of constructive criticism/an aesthetician background. I understand that not all waxing studios are the same and I’m use to other places. The things I did like; my aesthetician was great, easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. The speed of the service was amazing! Especially, for the girls/guys who are on the go. The design of the place was superb! I normally get soft wax but my waxer used hard wax which now I actually prefer.My dislikes; my waxer stayed in the room with me while I removed my bottoms, made me feel a bit uncomfortable.. I’m use to the waxers stepping out of the room while you get changed/have a towel for you as well. The station didn’t look like it was cleaned up afterwards, powder everywhere, wax bin full. She dropped her powder on the floor, picked it back up and put it in a bin and proceeded to use it on me. Yes, I understand that’s in a bottle, it could have been whipped afterwards is all. She also had pushed down her trash then NOT proceed to change gloves after doing so or even used hand sanitizer. Didn’t really notice hand sanitizer in the room either. After the service there was no use of post wax remover. With hard wax in current cases you don’t need to use it but it should just be an extra thing to have. I noticed some wax was still left over afterwards. I understand that this is a high pace environment don’t get me wrong, it just didn’t feel as personal to me is all. Just felt rushed.When they say “free service” advertised for a first time client, this is not true. When you book on the website it gives you the price of the service and it was $54. I wasn’t expecting it to be completely free don’t get me wrong because that’s how they get you in. I paid $57 including the aftercare product she told me to buy. I feel like they could have advertised better and I could have asked about it. Along with, that selling products are apart of how they make commission. She did provide me with free samples though, so that is one other like.While checking out, the aesthetician was talking with the front desk girl about ordering food and where they were going to get food from. I’ve had that discussion at work as well in front of a customer don’t get me wrong. We’ve all be there and done that, I just felt that it could have waited until I left. My overall experience with the waxing was good. Just a few things that I noticed that could use some improvement on for future reference or to whom ever is thinking about going to EWC as their first experience.

This was my first time ever going for a wax and this place was the perfect spot to go. They really took their time to educate me on the process and make sure i was comfortable and got exactly what I wanted. The technician, Nikki, was so kind, calming, informative that it really made the appointment like visiting with a freind. The facility is spotless and really well maintained. I wasnt sure if it was something Id want to keep trying, but with this place, absolutely.

Visiting from Arizona where there are a dime a dozen. Always leave happy. Not the case here. Went in for full face wax. Left with hair still on my face. Wax was left on to long and painful when she removed. Didn’t do my cheeks or forehead. Eyebrows still needed work. Asked if I wanted my nose done and left wax in my hair line. Full face wax mean entire face... she said some people only want certain things done. If that was the case I would have only paid for that service. They have only been there for about 5 months. Could not tell until I got somewhere to really check it out. Called them they said I could come back in but I’m going to wait til I get back to AZ. Sorry but this wasn’t even close to full face wax. Feeling hairy!!

I came here back in june and i wasn’t told the name of the waxer. the waxer did not keep her mask on! she was so rough! and rushed and there wasn’t anyone waiting either. she left so much wax behind and it was a painful process to remove it. only came here cause my local one was closed. never coming back.

So worth it ! These girls are fast and they know what they are doing. Jordan was awesome she joked with me and kept me calm and comfortable during my wax. Before I knew it we were done. Beautiful atmosphere. I can’t want to play with all of the products.

I scheduled a first time appointment and was coming from 30 min away. I got stuck in traffic and my GPS said I was 10 min away, I called to notify them and the receptionist said they couldnt see me anymore because their policy stated you can only be 9min late. Unbelievable! Waste of time and gas.

European Wax Center was recommended to me by a friend, and I am so glad I took her advice! I was greeted right away by the receptionist who was very kind and patient with me. :-) I had a brazilian done by Erica, and I couldn’t be happier with the results... she was quick and really friendly too. It was the least painful brazilian I’ve ever had. I also got a 50% discount because it was my first time which was a pretty awesome surprise! Looks like they have some other good deals with their wax passes too. Definitely will be coming back in the future.

Clean and the staff is friendly. Thorough with brow waxing. Only complaint would be the hassle Ive had the last 2 times with them not locating me in their system. I have prepaid for the year and they try to charge me.

I fell in love with the European wax center about 3 years ago and have been going ever since I started off going to the one in Annapolis and then eventually started going to the 1 in Rockville and each time both girls that I had and loved and up leaving then I went to the 1 Frederick and I found Erica actually I was referred and Erica is very good I like her technique Ive also heard good things about Lauren and nikki

Well this was an interesting experience to say the least. I of course caused some issues with not being able to complete my service. After I asked to stop, she did finish a few spots that she had started and finished with the serum or cream they apply when done. My issues now are I get home and have some wax spots in places that were not removed. I also felt extremely rushed and not relaxed at all. I guess she must have been the only waxer available and was rushing trying to get through to the next client. I did make a following appt but will end up canceling after I found the left over wax. this being my first time being waxed in general it was just not the best service.

Honestly they specialize in Brazilian waxing, nothing else. I got me eyebrows done here and they are terrible!!! She didnt shape my brows, she just filled them in. Dont waste your time .
