Always a pleasure coming to this nail salon. The people who work there are friendly and they do a great job always. Prices are good and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a change or wanting to start going to a nail salon.

The place was amazing. They were getting people in and out but they werent rushing and thats what I appreciate it as a customer. They also had all the latest styles and techniques that you could want. And that is something that I was looking for because I had just left three other shops in Macomb county that couldnt do what I wanted. Prices are good as well

I love my nails!!! Im constantly getting compliments on them! This place is absolutely amazing!! Yaya herself did my nails and she couldnt have been more incredible! She actually cares about her clients and their nail health, not about the money. I recommend this place to anyone!!

Very overpriced! They charge too much for simple nail work and this does not include designs or nail stones to decorate your nails. I was there just last week and was charged $80 for a mistake the tech made. And im one of her regular clients so she definitely knows what I come in for. Something simple as shellac/toe polish should be no more than $35-$40. And let me not forget to mention the manicure that I hadnt requested she took upon her self to do.

I took My mother and I to treat ourselves to the nail salon. We went and got them done Sunday afternoon, My mom‘s nail stylist didn’t even bother asking what length she wanted her nails. Not only that but they charged us outrages prices !!! This morning (Monday morning) as I’m getting ready for work the nails I just had done popped right off !!! the whole nail just fell off my finger (pointer finger)I wasn’t applying any pressure lifting anything heavy or doing anything out of the ordinary that could’ve caused a snail to pop off but it did

Henry.... just get him out of there. He shouldnt be allowed to work with the public. Horrible attitude, horrible service. I asked him to do my cuticles and he didnt even touch them. I will not be coming back for my nails to be done until hes gone. I will urge all my friends and family not to go there as well. I will only be there to get my eyebrows done by Yaya and that is all.

This place used to be great. I feel like they have been taking advantage of the pandemic. Their prices are ridiculously high! Went there for a full set a few weeks ago and just wanted to do polish on top. The man that works there told me I cant do polish, only shellac and he put my nail polish away. He said it was $80! I have never paid $80 for even shellac. I dont know where they get the prices from. The lady asked what was going on and I told her and she apologized and said she would take care of me but I just walked out and took my business somewhere else. Very disappointed!!

Every time i get table 7 she cuts me.. my friend had a problem with her cutting her as well.. however this time 2 weeks ago she cut me really bad and just proceeded with my bails within the next few days it got infected now two weeks later i have a huge bubble of skin that grew out of my skin under my acrylic it is constantly gushing blood and ozzing pus out of it. i contacted the salon about it they did not seem to care i reached out to her again to see what product can hopefully fix it hydrogen peroxide hasn’t been working so far no answer. i do not recommend coming here if u do i highly recommend staying away from table 7 wait a little extra time if she’s the only available nail tech. cannot believe this service.

I had Saya do my nails. She was so sweet and took her time with my nails. You can tell she enjoys her job. I have definitely found my new nail tech. 💕

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place OF COURSE they charge more and have an extremely long wait because this is the best salon in Macomb county!! This salon is the only one on the east side that does insanely detailed work by hand not airbrushed. You pay for what you get QUALITY. My eyebrows were ruined for years and never grew back the right way until YaYa finally fixed them (I was unaware in Texas they shave your eyebrows into a thin line). Henry keeps everyone laughing in the salon and all the technicians are amazing. I get nervous and bit my nail polish off a lot they always repaint the nails I ruined for free. They take care of their regulars extremely well. I am not going to lie on weekends expect a wait especially Fridays. No other salon compares to YaYas.

My daughter goes here all the time and she loves it. I went for my first time with her. I was not so impressed. They are crazy busy. Which is good for business. However we had a appointment and waited 45 minutes anyway. The guy doing my daughter pedicure did not listen to what she wanted. The lady doing my pedicure was very nice and friendly. But it seemed rushed and she made me bleed. We left a generous tip, but there are others places Id rather go to.

I came here to get my nails and toes done, the lady recommended an ombre nail, I didnt really love it at first but I said sure ok after she already painted 2 nails in ombre, after everything was done she says 94$ I said what?? Last time it only cost 74$ she never told me about the price difference and she recommended the ombre that I didnt love, so yes I was a bit mad. I gave her 95$ bc she recommended it and never informed me of the price difference. These ppl try to scam u just to make an Xtra 20$ I wont be back here. Also I told her not do my toes in ombre just do them all pink, she said ok.... what did she do?? She painted my toes ombre....Because she wanted that Xtra money. NOT COOL.

I had a great experience the 1st time I went but second time was terrible! I got the shellac and within about 2 weeks I had the nail polish chipped. Then on my thumb nail, all the polish came off like it was a fake nail (Btw I didnt use any acrylic or fake nails)

Today was my first time there and although Saya was very nice and did an amazing job on my nails, I don’t know how it costed me $79 for my full set. Most likely won’t be coming back.

I love the outcome of my nails but I could have gotten a fill-in and they decided that they were going to take it upon themselves to peel off my old set which I had just got two weeks prior and it wasnt lifting or anything it could have been filled but she said she prefers doing it from scratch they didnt tell me that they were going to charge me because I asked and she said no no I just want to do it to where its going to look perfect for you and I said alright I showed her a picture of what I wanted but I wanted different obviously and I let her do her own artistic view on things it was very loud very cramped we made appointments and we even asked if we could be sat next to each other and she was at the first and I was at the 9th stand and when we walked in there were over 15 people in the building not including the workers which they were all nice and great my eyebrows came out beautifully my nails came out beautifully but for my lets just say $8 and I tip on everything so original price $8 I wax and a set of ombre nails with decal and I did not ask for all the rhinestones she said that she would just do it for me cuz I had already paid and tipped her which I thought I did but they just took my card and apparently it was someone elses price so I had to make sure that it wasnt swipe twice which they couldnt swipe it without my PIN number so I just paid $104 to get my nails done when I could have gotten a fill-in and some rhinestones that I could have put on my self 4 probably 30 they wanted $30 to do just the polish change on my toenails now the work is beautiful it speaks for itself I asked about lashes and they said 25 or 35 but I think theyre like one day glue on lashes cuz she said they werent lash extensions so Im a little confused on what the hell she was trying to sell me their butt she gave me a personal number to come in next time which I dont know Im just iffy but the nail tech does such a good job but she didnt make the pricing at the end of the day shes got someone hovering over her telling her what shes going to charge and then I specifically said you know tip my nail tech 15 on top of 204 that I paid so thats an extra 15 and then give 5 to who did my eyebrows because tipping when your server at one point in Life or youre about to marry one you know that tips are everything especially for people that arent the owner and you can tell theyre miserable but I seen her leg pocket my 20 and then take out a five and hand her five and I knew it was only 5 because she placed it down on the table

Yaya is the best nail place that I have ever visit. They make you feel like family. My nails are always so perfect and Yaya is spontaneous, polite and honest. Her honesty makes me laugh! My mother is Hispanic like me and many times people make rude remarks about her English . But there she feels like home because Yaya and my mom can have a long conversation and neither of them are rude to each other/ Love this place!

I have been coming to Yaya’s on and off for over 7 years. She has always been somebody that I come back to. Today I took my daughter to get her first pedicure. It was a nightmare the girls treated us terrible. Yaya came in from getting her son and wasn’t sure what was going on as a result just told us to leave. I elected to pay for my full service and get no discount once she realized what had actually happened. I am so sad. But now I understand why all the people I know that use to go to her, no longer do.

Ive been going here for almost a year Im very picky because anywhere else I go I need to get my nails redone within a week because they all fall off but here I only need to go once a month & thats it! At first I just seen Henrey but he was busy the last 2 times so I just went to whoever and they did just as well the only thing is sometimes theres a long wait but its worth it and they are honest about it they dont tell you 10 minutes if theres going to be an hour wait, they let you know that theres a long wait which is nice because you can always call ahead :)

Jessica is the best. I only see her for my nails. My nails are always perfect and it doesn’t take her long at all. Yaya does a great job with my brows.

Went into this place and waited for 45 minutes to get a simple eyebrow wax. There were three people who went ahead of me as I waited patiently. When I asked the lady why three people went and Im still waiting, she had no good response. I ended up going to LD nails instead. Same price without the long wait and the overwhelming chemical smell youll find at Yaya Nails. Congratulations you just lost a customer and rest assured none of my friends will be coming to your salon.

This place gets one review because it was very very dirty, the young girls work station was so dirty the instruments she used were not sanitized and she could care less if she took her time rush, rush, half done job. Will not return. The nails look nice but when you pay you should get drinks, clean atmosphere it should not just be any old place to go. Low quality service.

The shellac started to peel off just after 1 week where at other salons it would stay on for up to 3 weeks. Would not recommend.

Been coming here for 8 years and I wont go anywhere else. It is always worth the wait. Honestly if there is a wait, you know theyre doing something right. Used to always get pink and whites, they fill in the pinks and the whites properly and always do a wonderful job. Youre treated like family here. Hands down one of the best nail salons Ive been to. If you dont have patience, youre missing out.

I really likes how my nails turned out however, i will not be returning. the lady told me it was 25 i ended up paying 45 for basic shallac nails.as well as the place within its self is extremely dirty, floors was disgusting as well as the chairs... let alone the child they have that’s always running and screaming barefoot... they do not sterilize the materials they use either, it’s one person after another. as i was getting my nails done, i felt gross in the environment.

Went in with my Daughter I was just getting a pedi and the nail tech was angry and talking with co workers when we came in, she was so rude, I think Yaya should have sent her home, Yaya had to take my pedi over, there was lotion on my toes and polish was totally gone on 3 toes 2 days later. My Daughter got the acrilic polish on fingers and toes and within a few days one finger was bare and the others were cracked and crumbling, I spent 100$ plus and will NEVER go back again beware.

They people there are very nice! They provide service in a timely matter! The only problem I have is that they don’t sterile their tools after each use. That is very unhealthy & for my saftey & health is the reason why I’ve chosen not to go back!

I posted a photo to go with this review I ended up at Yayas Friday before Christmas (2017) and let me tell you they were incredibly busy (at one point there was not even any sitting room). But I know let me tell you what.. as busy as they were Yaya herself did my nails quicker than Ive ever had my nails done but at the same time giving me the best fill-in and gel color that I have had in years. I am a customer for the long run... if youre looking for a new place try Yayas I promise you will not be disappointed. By the way in a couple hours that I was there I must have watched Yaya do 20 different females eyebrows, every one of them turned out (in my opinion) amazing..

I will DEFINITELY be back. I had Nakita and shes quick and knows what shes doing. I wont go anywhere else. My set before this one lasted me almost 3 weeks, no nails came off or paint chipping and not one of my hems cane off my fingers. Yaya Nailsis definitely worth going too if you are looking for a good nail salon.

Henry is so unpleasant and unprofessional. He will talk and laugh about you while servicing you and taking your money. Just because it’s in Chinese or whatever language doesn’t mean we can’t tell we are being talked about. I kept coming here giving them chances but if I’m spending $60 at an establishment plus tip, I don’t want to feel uncomfortable and that’s exactly how Henry makes me feel.

I went to yaya nails I got there at noon prior to even going I called and was told there was no wait got there and was told there was one pedi in front of me then two other women walk in and gets help right away I waited 40 minutes to still not get my nails done last time going there they are very unprofessional

I went here for a full set and I waited for 3 and a half hours. Once I finally got my nails done the lady who did mine was extremely rude. She tried getting me to do something I was not asking for, which was gel. Then I washed my hands and she said you didnt wash your hands good at all. The place is dirty, and the prices are outrageous. Never will go there again. They do good nails but thats the only thing I can say is good. Yaya Nails did not, at all, make a good impression on me.

I went into Yayas on Friday 11/16/18 to have my lashes done, if you have ever been to this establishment you would agree they asked you what you are there for when youre walking in the door plus you sign in. Well after waiting an hour I finally get in the chair and Yaya states you should let Lana do your lashes, shes out sick but will be back on Monday (wth) 🙄 who does that to a customer??? . I Had an engagement that night amd wanted my lashes done then as I explained to her she says but shes better they might fall off if I do them...Again Im thinking and saying to Yaya shes not here and I need them done, what part of that didnt she understand..I think probably had to pick up her son and she was pressed for time however she should have stated that!!! I was just in there 2 or 3 weeks prior to that and she did my Lashes not one time did she mention a Lena..I will never step foot in her shop again! One other thing when I was the last time the board of health came in there apparently she is providing services that she does not have a license for in the shop and at her home in MtClements...Dont take my work for it call the health department yourself but they were there

Prior to me coming to the shop I called to see how crowded it would be knowing its Good Friday. They told me to come by around 11am. So I got there at a quarter to 11 and waited an hour. Now the wait was fine because they were busy, but All I wanted was a color change. Yaya insisted I should get a fill-in and color change, but her coworker proceeds to do someone elses pedicure, for which I was there before her. I expressed that I have been waiting and he didnt care. That is just rude and bad customer service. So instead of me getting my services done, I left very angry. As a business I would of gotten that customer done and then proceeded with others.

The people were nice but the prices are ABSOLUTELY ABSURD! Came in for a full set, NOTHING fancy, and a toe nail polish change and was charged $72 ($1 for using credit card, $63 for nails and $8 for polish change). I heard one of the nail stylist talking about a lady who came in to get their nails done and that the nails they wanted were long as the tip they put on and they were going to charge her an extra $13 and the young lady complained and told her to take the tips off and she will go to 8 mile. What I didnt realize at that time was WHY the young lady wanted to leave! When I called, I was told my total for a full set acrylic would be $23 + $3 for take off. He mumbled my total after he was done (which sounded like $52 which is still steep but I wouldnt have complained) but when he rung up $72!!! and ACTUALLY charged a $1 for credit when my total was already $71 for some damn nails!! I will NEVER be patronizing this establishment EVER. I will continue to go to Lucky Nails on Gratiot and Metro Parkway. He is not extremely cheap but he does good work at way better prices! My advice is to go somewhere else!

Honestly best nail salon ive been to, and ive searched for a good nail salon for a while. they make you feel comfortable. all their techs are amazing so you always know what youre in for. highly reccomend.

So sad...ripped off...charged full set price for fill ins...take FaceTime calls while doing nails...place is FILTHY...nice job on nails, but not a fair price...& hoping not to get fungus infection. Very disappointing!!!
