After having postoperative complications, my father was scheduled to have imaging immediately preceding a visit with the surgeon. There were issues with the insurance precertification (i.e. it wasnt completed by the imaging center staff) ... despite leaving four different voicemails, over the course of one week, nobody bothered to return our call. Upon arrival to Cool Springs Imaging, we waited for nearly an hour while they scrambled to get last minute insurance approval and finally, we had to cancel the appointment for both the diagnostic imaging and for the visit with the surgeon. I was given the number for a supervisor, which I called and left a voicemail, and still no one bothered to return the call. If you need imaging, I would advocate for going somewhere else - anywhere else - before attempting to receive care this facility.

I have been going here for several years for my CT scan. I also utilized the Vanderbilt downtown Nashville location. The Frankin / Cool springs is the place to go.Ok the front line desk champions have could be more friendly. In all fairness their job is repetitive, they are often dealing with people who have health issues that make them a little abrupt. ( Being sick and dealing with the scary unknown will do that)OTHERWISEThe service was good.. The place was clean.. coffee and water are available while you wait and the TV is on.The front line health team and technicians know their job...They are friendly and most importantThe results of their tests are Quickly posted to the Vanderbilt website for both you and your doctor to see.If this helps give me a like ..thumbs upBe well

After reading so many negative reviews, I feel obliged to comment on my experience at Cool Springs Imaging, because it was uniformly positive. I took my son in for an MRI last Saturday. There was plenty of convenient parking and the facility was easy to find. The waiting room was fine; it was not too crowded and it didnt look run down or messy. There was a machine to begin the check in process that was easy to use. Then we were called up to a window where an African American woman gave us some paperwork to fill out. I dont recall her name but she was definitely polite. The paperwork was limited and took maybe three minutes to complete. We were called back into a second waiting room in a reasonable time, and we waited there for about ten minutes watching TV. It was a nice, clean environment with RECLINERS! Then my son was taken in for his MRI by another woman who was also perfectly polite. Maybe fifteen minutes later, the procedure was finished. I wouldnt have any misgivings about going there again.

Only allowed one person to go back with my daughter to get her X-ray... due to “social distancing” though I don’t see how one person extra will make the waiting room full. She swallowed a penny and I just wanted to be there with her when she had to get her X-ray.But every one was really nice! Just wish I could go back there.

Have not actually been to the appointment yet. Have to go in for diagnostic studies due to abnormal test results and cannot get an appointment for a month. Waited on hold to 30 minutes twice to try and get an appointment t. I hope there is nothing to find on diagnostic because they are certainly in no hurry to get anything done!!!!!

I was sorry to read all negative reviews. My experience with Cool Springs imaging center was very pleasant. Waiting time was minimal, people were very nice and polite, including both front desk and medical personal. My CT scan was done by MandiLynne (sorry if my spelling is not correct), and she was incredibly nice, attentive and supportive. So, my thanks to the people at this Imaging Center for the great service.

My recent experience was far superior to others in the past. I was greeted and treated warmly which was definitely not the case over the last few years. This time, they had an easy check in process at a kiosk and my wait was very short. My technician, MandiLynn, took time to understand why I was there for outpatient imaging and explained that the results would be to my doctor later today... Not weeks, like I was accustomed to. I was also pleased with the billing process... They called me ahead of time to confirm the appointment so I knew exactly what the service would cost before anything was ever done. Thank you!

1 was told to come 1.5 hours too soon. We arrived at 12:00 pm.2. 3 times there was no one at the window to help me.3. There were about 3-4 employees that were pleasant.4. The guy who ran the MRI was totally cold. He said about 8-10 words to me.5. There was no conversation to put me at ease or what to expect.BTW. I am 73. My husband brought me and he is 85. I had to request for someone to go to waiting room and let him know what was taking so long. One procedure took 5 min. The other was 25 min. We left at 3:20.

I read the reviews. Ive had problems in the past with scheduling. Was told it was my fault. Thats been a while back. Today the girl that preformed the mammgrmam was very rude. I will change imagining centers. I dont have to go through this. There are other places to go. The Dr. Is nice, the girl doing the Ultrasound professional.

Office poorly run. Front staff is rude & not helpful. They just go through the motions and it’s evident they are miserable . If we could have gotten our testing done somewhere else, we would have left ! The common themes are unprofessionalism & rudeness by the front office staff. The reviews don’t lie ....The glass windows should be removed because they are constantly closed and the 3 staff members don’t ever look up ? It just confirms the tone of the office staff ... closed off and not welcoming !Sadly , it’s probably not ALL of them but the one we dealt with gets 0 stars .... she was the staff person with glasses sitting at the desk behind the other 3 window staff ? If you have a choice to get your testing done elsewhere , please do .... Location and facility are nice as well as techs in the back. Our check in person was definitely not having a good day and probably should have stayed home . It’s nothing like the surgery center across the hall where they are positive , friendly & happy .... 5 stars for them !

They struggle with their billings and turn collections over to an outside agency (Wakefield Associates) who in turn does an absolutely terrible job communicating billings to clients. Twenty (20) months after an MRI I was informed of a Civil Process from a Sheriffs Office about a small outstanding debt. I have never talked with anyone about this in the months since the procedure. Where was the follow-up? Where was the timely communications? TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.

Well, thankfully Ive only had to go here once. And my experience was professional and quick. I dont know about all the bad reviews, but keep in mind people are coming here to have serious problems checked out so maybe theyre not reviewing fairly or thinking clearly :-)

I had an appointment for a mammogram. The machine was down and they never bothered to call to tell me. The person at the front desk said that they tried to leave a message on my cell phone. I held up my phone and showed him where they had NOT called. This of course was after he tried to tell me I was not on the schedule. I will never come back here. Terrible customer service!

Went for MRI they called on three different days to ask me the. Same question I explained each time I had spoke to someone the day before and answered all these questions so on day before apooappoint they wanted me to be there 15 mins prior to appointment which is fine when. I got there they were not open yet I had to wait then when I get in office there was one lady and she wasnt friendly she shoved paperwork and walked off ( rude) they came time for MRI I asked for assistance due to not being able to walk good (knee injury) they said give us a min and they help another person that was behind me so I waited 10 more mins before getting back then I get in room for MRI the person grabbing my hurt knee pulling on it I said stop your hurting me and the response I got was I need it to be down here I said okay Ill move it he looked a me and did it again and topping that off he put a clamp on knee for the procedure and pinched my skin in it by this point I was in tears and once again response I got was you need to quit crying cause you move your leg when you cry and I need to get this done , now not once was the words in sorry ever spoken to me at anypoint this is the most horrible place I have been to very unprofessional medical team I have seen and rude staff all the way around will not be back only reason I had to go here was it was work related not by choice I wish Google would let you rate in negative stars they would get-5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ negative 5 stars !!!!!!!

My husband has been here for MRIs three years in a row because his Dr is in the same building. 1st year went ok, a little late. 2nd year an emergency was brought here for an MRI which pushed everything back then the MRI was closed down until the first MRI was read in case they needed a second one. The Dr left bldg before my husband received his MRI. So we are here for a third time. Appointment for image was 11am, dr appt 1:30pm. Should be plenty of time right...wrong, it is 12:10 and they are 1 hour behind again. We got here early, was told then they were 30 minutes late. The lady sitting beside me had a 10am appointment, was called in at 12:05. This will be to our last visit here.

I had an appointment for 5:45 PM it was 7:00 PM and I was still waiting. I was told that they stop doing CT at 6:00 PM and was told since I was a walk in I was as not I had a scheduled appointment. I was not able to get my CT I kept getting excuses.

The staff at check in were cold and unfriendly, then made worse by the unfriendly tech who rudely went through a check list of dos and donts. The order was for a breast ultrasound, and they refused to follow the order without including a mammogram. The radiologist was arrogant and condescending and rolled her eyes when I refused the mammogram. Just a horrible place filled with miserable, unprofessional people.

Beware of the this place which sends extra bills after paying what has been accepted and wont accept to what they said and sends the bills for debt collector who charges 40% extra over the bill sent. Also the accounts dept will hung up on the customer calls and tries that it is patients mistake. I will be requesting my doctors to refer me to another place if any of those services required due to these problems.

I waited in the waiting room for an hour and a half while countless people went in front of me and when I finally got back to the MRI machine two different techs failed to start an IV after 5 attempts. The worst service and experience I have ever had!
