Both the staff and Dr. Edmonds are wonderful. They took care to be sure everything was cleaned. They were professional and thorough. I have been going there for years and I will continue to do so.

Everyone in the clinic was very knowledgeable and helpful. They took time to answer all of my questions. I am so glad I found them, they are so wonderful!

My daughter and I had our first appointment Feb 2021. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Dr. Weiss was very knowledgeable and I really appreciate that he included my daughter in the conversation about her care and spoke with her directly. Dr. Weiss was very specific and detailed about our plan of care. I would highly recommend Milwaukee Eye Care Associates!

Doctor was great, technicians/assistants were great, I was just annoyed that I filled out all the paperwork they emailed me, and sent it to the email address they gave. When I showed up, they said it was never received, and I had to fill it out again. Lesson learned--Just print it out and hand it to them.

I was very impressed by this clinic. They took more time with me than other clinics.

This time I did not feel as if I was a welcomed customer by the receptionist. Maybe she was having a bad day. Also, the tables they have put in front of the reception desk are not a good way to welcome patients. A standing sign might help to say stand back (like we dont know with Covid) , and it is somewhat difficult to juggle in a purse for information while not being able to fully utilize a counter to prop up against especially while using a cane to stand with all the winter garb on as well. Attitude goes a long way as well. Again, maybe a bad morning....when asked if I was exposed to Covid, I answered in the affirmative and said it was over a month ago. She was taken back when I said I did not have a test but we quarantined. There was no need for a test as we did not have direct contact. Perhaps a little more education on Covid protocols would be helpful as well.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Having not seen an eye doctor for way too many years I was nervous. Everyone was so nice and Dr. Edmonds was helpful in explaining exactly what they were going to do.

This office is efficient and well organized. I have been there several times in the last few years.

The whole staff was amazing. From the front end person to the last person that handle the scheduling of my laser procedure. They seem to care, my doctor was great. I wish i had gone there from the beginning to get my cataracts removed. I came here to Milwaukee eye care to have cloudiness remove from my eyes due to cataract surgery.My experience here at MECA has been awesome everyone cares about you.I highly recommend them. My doctor Mackenzie Sward is the best and has an Awesome staff.

This really is 2 separate reviews so I will structure it as such -5 stars - Office staff and technicianThe office staff was very pleasant, respectful, and helpful. The technician, I believe her name was Natalia, was incredible. She was extremely friendly, made me feel comfortable, and answered any question I had in an easy going manner. She made me feel respected and validated.1 star - Dr. WeisI can truly state that I have never had such a terrible encounter with a medical professional. Dr. Weis made it very clear to begin with that I was not a client he wanted to work with due to my personal circumstances. He was cold, lacking empathy, judgmental, disrespectful, and rude. Throughout the entire time I was in the room with him I was thinking “is this real life?” because of how ridiculous it was that a medical professional was treating me in the way he was. I’m not sure if it was because I was his last appointment on a Friday and as I stated above he literally told me he did not like to work with clients like me or if the way he acted had anything to do with me being a younger looking, blonde woman, but regardless his disposition was entirely inappropriate. I work in the healthcare field as well and know that at my place of work this type of behavior would be unacceptable. Dr. Weis made me - as a person who is coming to him for a service - feel stupid, small, judged, inconvenient, uncomfortable, and unnecessarily anxious. Towards the end of this appalling experience he literally asked me if I “really thought” I needed glasses/contacts (which yes, if I’m going to an eye appointment and spending the money and have worn prescribed glasses since 2017, I do “really think” I need them) and insinuated that he did not want to write me a prescription (which I told him he did not have to as this was his choice). In hindsight, I really wish I would have walked out of this appointment because I, nor anyone else coming in for a service, deserves to be treated in that way. To be quite frank, I walked out of this appointment in tears and due to my experience will not be returning.

Welcoming staff. Questions are always answered. Outstanding results from procedures.
